While David Cronenberg was making "The Fly" (1986) and... had to shoot this scene where Jeff Goldblum had to climb the walls & crawl to the ceiling, he remembered that there was a similar scene in Ingmar Bergman's "Hour of the Wolf" (1968). So, he watched the movie again to see how the scene must have been filmed & was amazed when he realised how simple and effective it was. "The Fly" was one of the movies that Bergman had in his VHS collection at his Home in Fårö island.show more
