🇧🇪🇮🇷 Belgian PM on Iran's nuclear ambitions: "I think... it is justified to try to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. Of course, whether the operation was well planned and well executed, that's another matter. It doesn't seem to be going very smoothly." Writer: Daniyalshow more

How do you cross a road during a marathon?... During a marathon in Yunnan, China, police used a "pendulum-style" system to guide pedestrians safely across the race route -- timing each crossing so runners could keep going while pedestrians made it safely to the other side. Keeping everyone moving -- safely and smoothly. #Marathon #Running #Yunnan #China #Safety #CrowdManagementshow more

Work in progress, but this is so fucking cool... I just have to share.. I'm moving the entire CSS pipeline off the main thread in Ladybird. This allows us to animate any CSS properties we want and they just keep going smoothly despite heavy JS execution! Video demo is animating a bunch of flex and grid layouts while JS churns on the main thread. Same demo in Chrome for comparison. Welcome to the future, bros 😎show more

🚨 Lukashenko flew out to join Putin at the... parade. The old man doesn’t look well In general, parades haven’t been going smoothly for the Belarusian dictator. In 2024, at the Kremlin, he could barely shuffle along with flowers, and in 2023 he couldn’t even walk 300 meters on foot — Putin’s security had to give him a ride. This year, only a handful of foreign leaders dared to come to Moscow for May 9 celebrations. Mostly they are Kremlin allies and leaders of unrecognized territories supported by Moscow. There will be no air defense in the form of Comrade Xi, so some serious chaos is expected.show more

I always get really worried whenever Minjeong gets sick... especially knowing that there have been times before when she’s had to sit out schedules bc she wasn’t feeling well. I just hope she doesn’t feel pressured to push herself and takes all the time she needs to recover completely ☹️ It makes me feel even worse knowing how much effort she’s been putting into taking care of herself lately like exercising, going on walks, eating well, and doing her best to stay healthy so she could go through the tour smoothly. She was clearly looking forward to performing and meeting MYs at every stop too. I hope she prioritizes her health this time cause there will always be another stage for her to perform on and I just want her to rest properly and recover fully without worrying about anything else. 🥺🤍show more

The combat you saw in the Content creators demo... was just a really small sneak peek… Let me show you more about the real combat of AIKODE… In this video there is A LOT of things going on, in fact, the outfit changed 4 times in this video! In AIKODE you can change between 3 Outfits during GAMEPLAY (you can choose what 3 outfits will you use in the menu between 200 different options). The Outfit system also changes your weapon, animations, hairstyle and abilities, (You can customize all of this on the menu for every outfit slot). While the abilities are “charging” you can keep changing between outfits to use the abilities that are already charged... and at the same time you can keep doing combos without any type of delay and smoothly change between your weapons. In this video you can see just some of the abilities, outfits, and stances/weapons. #AIKODE #UE5show more

i built an open world minigame that's controlled with... hand movements only here's a step-by-step tutorial: > started with my mediapipe + threejs template (see QT) > added a 3D model made by quaternius > sent a few prompts to gemini 3... --- prompt #1: repurpose the attached script, but now I want to import a gltf model (assets/model.gltf) and use that in the scene instead of the cube when the user moves their hand, a waypoint indicator should move around the scene, and the 3D model should smoothly move there when the user makes a fist, the model should jump the 3D model contains bundled animations in it. use the "idle", "run", and "jump" animations --- prompt #2: make this a procedural open world adventure. generate very simple procedural voxel terrain when the model gets near the edges of the screen, the camera should move, allowing the model to keep going in that direction --- prompt #3: add some floating glowing gems around the map that the user can collect --- i made some manual tweaks for styling and game feel, but that's the gist of it thanks for reading if you got all the way here full code is available at my link in bioshow more
