Robotics keeps hitting the same wall. Single task RL... works, but... it does not scale to hundreds of tasks or new embodiments. This new paper looks like a real step toward fixing that. The team introduces MMBench, a benchmark with 200 tasks across many domains and robots, and Newt, a language conditioned world model trained online across all 200 tasks at once. The simple idea behind Newt: The model learns from demos to get the right priors It trains across many tasks through online interaction It uses language to ground the goal It adapts fast when a new task shows up What stood out to me: ✅ One model trained on 200 tasks at the same time ✅ Language conditioned control for both states and RGB ✅ Better data efficiency than strong baselines ✅ Strong open loop control ✅ Fast adaptation to new tasks and embodiments ✅ Full release of 200 checkpoints, 4000 demos, code, and benchmark This is a good push toward general control instead of one model per task. Most traders think psychology is just “control your emotions.”... It’s deeper than that. Trading psychology is the quality of decisions you make under uncertainty. Can you stay patient when nothing is clear? Can you execute when your setup appears without fear? Can you take a loss without revenge trading? Can you follow your plan when greed tells you to overstay? That is psychology. A bad mindset doesn’t only show in emotions. It shows in: • Overtrading • Moving stop loss • Entering early • Ignoring confirmations • Risking too much • Chasing after losses • Closing winners too soon How to improve your psychology: ▫️Manage your risk When the money at stake is too high for your mind, emotions take over. Risk appropriately and think clearer. ▫️Trade only clear setups Random entries create stress. Clean setups build confidence. ▫️Accept losses before entering Every trade can lose. Once you accept that, losses hurt less and decisions improve. Journal your behavior ▫️Don’t only record profits. Record mistakes, emotions, impatience, greed, fear. Patterns will expose themselves. Detach from daily results ▫️One day means nothing. Consistency is built over many trades, not one session. Build discipline off the chart If you can’t control small habits in life, it becomes harder to control yourself in the market. The market is not only testing your strategy. It is testing your character every single day. GM💜show more

Today we’re introducing Google AI Threat Defense - a... comprehensive AI-powered cybersecurity solution designed to help continuously monitor for and stop AI-powered threats before they can impact your business. Here’s how it works: 1. AI Threat Defense uses our cybersecurity platform Wiz to scan and prioritize what applications and systems have the highest security risk. 2. Gemini and other frontier AI models can then autonomously perform continual deep scanning of your applications - starting with those at the highest risk - to identify security vulnerabilities. 3. The capabilities of CodeMender - a new software repair agent - are then used to verify and accelerate the patching of vulnerabilities. 4. And our Wiz autonomous agents continuously test your systems to find unknown vulnerabilities before adversaries do so that you can remediate them before you are attacked. While other model providers focus on using AI to find and flag vulnerabilities, Google AI Threat Defense actively prioritizes your most critical real-world risks and accelerates their remediation using a variety of models since no single model finds a superset of the vulnerabilities found by all other models.show more

🛠️ What if a robot could invent its own... tools. And teach itself how to use them? That’s exactly what VLMgineer does: a new framework that lets Vision Language Models (VLMs) design physical tools and the actions to use them, entirely on their own. No templates. No human demonstrations. Just raw, AI-driven creativity. Why it matters ✅ Co-designs tools and actions together using VLMs, ensuring tight coupling between form and function ✅ Uses VLM-guided evolution (not random search) to refine designs intelligently ✅ Outperforms human-designed tools by +64.7% in task success across 12 RoboToolBench challenges ✅ Produces better-than-everyday tools for real manipulation tasks—measured in success rate and elegance It builds on the emerging trend of large-model-guided evolutionary design (like Eureka and AlphaEvolve) and brings it into physical robotics. It opens the door to general-purpose, automated hardware design, no strong priors needed. Code & paper: —- Weekly robotics and AI insights. Subscribe free:show more

OpenAI's Deep Research is getting a run for its... money. Deep Lake was just released, and it's a different take on an AI system that can do deep research on your own data. You can use Deep Lake to build AI search with reasoning on your private and public data. (Look at the attached videos to get an idea of how it works.) If you want to research proprietary and sensitive data, Deep Research won't help you because it's limited to public data. Deep Lake, however, will allow you to use your private data. On top of that, Deep Lake supports multi-modal retrieval from the ground up. It uses vision language models for data ingestion and retrieval so that you can connect any data (PDFs, images, videos, structured data, etc.) You can even use mixed-data queries! Deep Lake can search your data from S3, Dropbox, and GCP. It learns from your queries over time, making the results as relevant to your work as possible!show more
