🇲🇽 GUADALAJARA VS. MONTERREY 🇲🇽 Today Herminio asked me:... "Genuine question bro, why do you like Monterrey over Guadalajara?" Well, let's dig in... I have spent A LOT of time in GDL, had my 3 kids in the city — I have NOT spent time like that in Monterrey But I'd still pick MTY Here's my best attempt to compare and contrast the two: 1. GDL and MTY are similar in many ways 5+ million in each metro, both cosmopolitan + modern in their own ways, both considered vital to Mexico's economy Food is a wash, as both offer elite restaurants and dining — medical care and hospitals are solid in both too The similarities could go on and on, sure I'm missing a lot But for differences that matter to me... 2. Nature + Outdoor Access GDL is not a city that offers much nature and outdoor access You've got Bosque Los Colomos, Bosque La Primavera, and Barranca de Huentitán inside the city That's pretty much it Then you have Lago de Chapala 45 min away and Tequila with the volcano hike around 1 hr+ in car MTY is wrapped in the Sierra Madre Oriental — mountains are the backdrop, not a drive away From San Pedro or Carretera Nacional, you're within 45 min of: - Parque Chipinque — trails 15 min from your door - Cascada Cola de Caballo — waterfall in Villa de Santiago - La Huasteca canyon — 20 min - Matacanes — world-class canyoning - Potrero Chico — one of the best climbing destinations on earth - Grutas de García — massive cave system - Santiago Pueblo Mágico — colonial town in the mountains - Presa La Boca — lake, kayaking, horseback And that's just the tip of the iceberg, there's great hiking around Monterrey and many homes offer stunning mountain views 3. Comparing the nice areas... San Pedro + Carretera Nacional (MTY): - Mountain-adjacent, you see the sierra from the kitchen window - Lower density, more green space - Carretera Nacional has newer housing stock and runs toward Santiago - San Pedro is basically a gated city-state with its own excellent municipal services and the richest per-capita tax base in LatAm to fund them You can buy or rent houses around the Carretera Nacional area for far cheaper than anything similar in the nice parts of GDL Zapopan + Providencia (GDL): - Puerta de Hierro / Andares is nice but it's upscale-mall energy. - Providencia is walkable — but you're in the middle of the city and it's not really lively - Parks only option for green spaces Both Zapopan and Providencia are apartment living spots, as renting a house in a gated community in either will break the bank 4. Safety — nice zones only, honest comparison San Pedro Garza García is consistently one of the safest municipalities in Mexico — Carretera Nacional corridor = same story Jalisco has CJNG headquartered in-state Providencia and Zapopan are more than fine on the day-to-day, but it's not getting better When I first got to GDL, you heard about a shooting at a mall or bar 2-3X a year, when I left we were hearing new stories weekly Similar overall, but I think SPPG + Nacional Carretera are a bit safer than Zapopan + Providencia 5. Weather with an * Yes, GDL has better average weather, as the "Eternal spring" climate is hard to top Yes, MTY has brutal summers and cold-ish winters But if you're wealthy enough to choose between San Pedro and Puerta de Hierro, you're wealthy enough to leave MTY for June, July and August In those hot months, you move your family to the beach for summer vacation If you couldn't do that, then yes, GDL has much better weather But weather stops mattering as much when you have some mobility Then the other 9-months of the year, GDL and MTY offer very similar weather ------------------------------------------------------------ I could go on and on here... My Honest Verdict: I had 3 kids in GDL and loved the city, all my kids were babies in GDL and I have incredible memories there, made many friends But if I were picking a Mexican base TODAY, knowing what I know now → San Pedro or Carretera Nacional No hesitation More mountains + nature, more top schooling options, somewhat safer in the nice zones Plus, it's closer to the US and the weather argument dies the moment you can fly to the beach for the summer Just my take... Don't shoot the gringo, errrrr messenger ;)show more

EXODUS: Help Darren Stallcup Move Out Of San Francisco... After dedicating the best years of my life to save San Francisco, I have made the heartbreaking decision to leave this great beautiful city behind. I did the best that I could every day and I know so many honest good caring San Franciscans out there are hurting just as much as I am and I've met so many of you who desperately want the same healing and recovery for this city that I do... The truth is... the daily chaos, lawlessness and human suffering on our streets are not accidents but a deliberate result of a cruel, sick game engineered by corrupt politicians and non-profits who benefit from the suffering of the less fortunate. I don't hate everyone who votes differently or works in non-profits... there are plenty of decent people trying to help, but far too many bad apples in the Democratic party are working hand-in-hand with these organizations to keep the crisis alive. I'm infuriated by this broken, predatory system that devastates the vulnerable, attacks those trying to help and enriches those who have blood on their hands... all on the taxpayers dime. That's why I'm done playing along and refusing to sacrifice my life to their endless failure. Yet even as I leave, I'll never stop fighting for the less fortunate by demanding secure treatment beds, real enforcement against fentanyl dealers and sober housing that actually saves lives instead of enabling death. I can continue my art, music and citizen journalism in another city that is cleaner, safer and dare I say more friendlier to me, a conservative Patriot who loves our great beautiful country. Day and Night I walked these streets up and down the block, handing out food, clothing and blankets to the less fortunate while listening to their stories. Through citizen journalism, I documented the homeless crisis on the ground, sharing videos and photos to raise awareness. I spoke passionately at City Hall meetings, demanding accountability from leaders who seemed indifferent. I appeared on national and international television to share my story with the world about the fentanyl genocide devastating our city. Today, with a heavy heart, I regret to inform our community that I am relocating to a safer area outside San Francisco. I can no longer tolerate the chaos and stress of day to day survival in this city. It has taken an undeniable toll on my physical, mental and spiritual well being. Our corrupt and incompetent local and state leaders have deliberately enabled chaos on San Francisco's streets, creating a perpetual crisis that funnels billions of taxpayer dollars into the hands of corrupt non-profits and organizations. These entities thrive on the suffering of the less fortunate, profiting from endless contracts for shelters, outreach programs and harm-reduction initiatives that fail to reduce harm or homelessness. Harm reduction is causing more harm. Progressive policy is making everything progressively worse. I am done being a guinea pig in their social experiment. Year after year, billions have been spent, yet the humanitarian crisis has only worsened, with more tents, more overdoses, and more despair. Fentanyl overdoses are on the rise, homelessness numbers are climbing and our public spaces have all but deteriorated, all while the same politicians get elected year after year. It is a calculated system of human suffering and I am done living through the nightmare every single day. I've been documenting the truth about San Francisco's streets for years, but as I prepare to leave for good, this frontline perspective might go with me unless I am able to find a nice small town where I can continue my work from afar. If my story has ever opened your eyes or fueled your fight, I ask you to show love to my journey. My work in our community began with a deep compassion for those suffering on the streets and I poured my energy into helping the homeless directly. My home burned down to the ground, I know what it's like to have nothing and work your way up from rock bottom. Every day, more people overdose and more people show up in San Francisco from all over the country. It's a never ending cycle. I have lost too many family and friends and I refuse to be next. I am profoundly tired of the fentanyl genocide that has turned my once beloved city into a hell hole. I have seen one too many open air drug markets, claiming thousands of lives each year. The drug dealers operating freely, the human feces and needles littering streets and sidewalks, the judges letting the fentanyl dealers out of jail, the fentanyl showing up on playgrounds and in schools, the women giving birth on the sidewalk, the still born babies found in port-o-pottys, the people jumping off of buildings, the people living in the sewers, the non-stop every day looting of our grocery store, the robbery of our local restaurants, the targeting of our mom-and-pop shops, the risk of riding public transportation, the waking up to burglars kicking in my door and fighting them off, the sound of going to sleep to people screaming and waking up to emergency sirens, the billion dollar tech offices and third world conditions across the streets, the constant threat of The Big Earthquake, power outages, infrastructure breakdown, skyrocketing cost of living, it's all become unbearable. Homeless encampments blocking public spaces, the high risk of fentanyl exposure and rampant property crime have eroded any sense of normalcy. Personal safety threats from erratic behavior, boarded-up stores and political hostility weigh heavily on me. I no longer desire or wish to endure these heartbreaking struggles. Building a life for myself, let alone a family, in this decay, is almost impossible. The frustration with leftist policies enabling open drug scenes, health risks from biohazards and store closures reducing access to essentials has taken its toll. I have personally witnessed at least a dozen grocery stores close down and my heart is broken as I wonder if I am slowly living in a food desert because of rampant, unchecked crime. They defunded the police and the judge releases criminals out of jail the next day. I am sick and tired of fighting off the same bad guys every day. The Urban decay is not just in areas like the Tenderloin, SOMA and Union Square, but all over the city. The difficulty in regular social life is noticeable and everybody is on guard making human connection even more challenging unless you are a millionaire. I walk into small businesses, stores and restaurants and all the workers are on edge wondering what chaos will happen that day. Tourists ask me what is happening to the city? All I do is shake my head. This is not the San Francisco I grew up in. My City has become unrecognizable. The Full House Days are long gone and it will take years, if not generations, for San Francisco to recover from all the damage done. Years of frontline activism without any city wide solutions have left me absolutely drained. Every day feels like the same nightmare, repeating the same chaos day after day without end. I don't want my life trapped in this cycle of sirens, screams and unchecked decline. It's time to step away from this chaos. I do not want to die here. The threats to personal safety, the constant exposure to violence and humanitarian crisis has become too much for one lifetime. I shouldn't have PTSD from living in San Francisco, but I do. Honestly, we all have survivor's guilt. I refuse to let this environment claim my future or my dreams. Relocating means saving my health, mental well being, spirituality and opportunity to thrive elsewhere. No more waking up and counting the bodies on the sidewalks or navigating hazards just to live daily life. I deserve a chance to build without the shadow of this humanitarian crisis looming over everything. I've sacrificed my personal health, safety and years of my life on the frontlines for the vulnerable while our local leaders profited from their pain... now, to keep fighting, I have to leave everything behind and start over. If this battle has ever meant something to you, please do consider supporting. As I pursue my American dreams in a new place, I carry the lessons from San Francisco with me forever. I will always cherish the memories and good times. This city will always have a place in my heart. San Francisco is my hometown. I continue advocating for change from afar, but with renewed energy in a safer environment. This move allows me to build a stable life, free from the nightmare that has defined too many years of life. Thank you to all my family and friends that have supported my work, I fought valiantly but now it is time for a tactical retreat. My time in the trenches, on the frontlines are over. I can't believe I made it out alive. Here's to new beginnings and the hope that one day, San Francisco heals.show more

I feel like there is some kind of stagnation... in my soul. I don't feel hopeless or tired, but suddenly everything became less interesting. I have to do something to wake up my soul so I can go back to how I was. I am the one who insisted on living, even if life was only room for my feet. I wonder what happened to me. I have become just a mass of flesh without a soul. I lost my passion and love for life.. My dear friends and loved ones .. This is your friend Mo from Gaza and this is an update The military operation is still continuing in northern Gaza... and there are more evacuation orders for the north and more displacement. I heard from one of the merchants that he has some cat food in Jabalia... but the area is dangerous there... Approximately he has 15 to 20 boxes Each box contains 24 cans Despite that, I said let's try to go, but we have to be careful... I went with my cousin Animal world We went to the furthest place we could reach. The picture below shows us at the Qurm Junction, and anyone who is in Gaza knows that it is the entrance to Jabalia... Unfortunately, we did not dare to approach any closer than that... We heard the sounds of explosions and saw plumes of smoke and the sounds of gunfire. Drones were flying densely over our heads. So we backed down and decided to go again today.. but the weather is very, very rainy today.. We will go again on Wednesday.. I wish we had access to cat food. It is more beneficial for them.. My friends and loved ones.. There is still the possibility of donating to buy the largest possible amount of food for them Or on the PayPal link It appears that the talks have reached a dead end. In this case, I should buy as much as possible. Today we can buy.. Who knows? Perhaps we will not be able to go and search in a few days... as I am doing now... I am grateful to someone who stood by my side during these difficult times. Your loving friend Moshow more

Folks have asked me for a side by side... comparison the Apple eMate 300 and the AlohaSmart 3000. Well you can see they were conceived by some of the same team at Apple. They are remarkably alike. In public I get a lot of “in the know” folks ask if that is the eMate. The build quality is better of course in the eMate. But it is also 2.5 time heaver and it is hard on my hacked battery. I do carry around the eMate and use it regularly but it is mostly in my Library for contemporaneous notes. The AlphaSmart 3000 I carry a lot. Mostly in the woods. It is lighter, only 3 AA batteries and easier screen in almost all settings. The 3000 has a slightly bigger keyboard but slightly worse travel. The AlphaSmart Neo2 has a better keyboard than both. So here is the comparison…show more

The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in... the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtronshow more

Hamas is NOT At All Similar to The Proud... Boys I despise the Proud Boys. I see them as pathetic losers who are filled with hate and bigotry. With that said, comments made by Sunny Hostin on 'The View' are both inaccurate and irresponsible. #1 The Proud Boys have NOT been designated a "terrorist group" in the United States. They were designated such in Canada and New Zealand but the US has no such designation. #2 To compare the protests, the fights and the actions of the Proud Boys to what Hamas has done in Israel is like comparing thumb tacks to nuclear warheads in a battle. Please stop comparing people to Hamas. Probably the only really good comparison to Hamas is ISIS. If you find yourself comparing groups of people in America to Hamas, then you are only minimizing what Hamas has done.show more

I went from ZERO($0) to 5 figures in less... than 5 months The year 2024 was a defining year for me and a lot of my friends. This story is one I should have told since but was waiting for the right time It all began in August after losing a cumulative of $20,000. That was literally all I had left with me and was down to less than $300. They say it all begins when you are down to your last 1 million and funny how I didn't even have up to a million Over the course of several days I began asking myself questions as to what I would have done with the money. I could have given my parent their dream house or gotten a car for myself, my mum and started my Agric business. Well, that was how Anxiety started with heavy palpitations and a pulse of 130 Not to bore you, allow me explain step by step as to how I bounced back 1) God - I wont lie to you, God and Prayers are very important in this WEB3. We have very few Normal people on here as this space is toxic enough to destroy you and your mental health 2) Network - See, I know all your idolos are telling you to grind hard which is factually correct but the real profits in this life are from who you know. Check SAYRAAH #WID 📈📉📊 content on networking for more information 2) Excellence - One little lesson I've learned from life is that excellence in itself is not restricted to a particular sphere but its a way of life. I strongly believe the reason all my clients refer me like their lives depend on it is because I handle my job with a unique style of excellence. Starting from my personal page to my clients jobs and even mannerisms 3) Hard work - This aspect has been misused so much. Hard work although very vital must be accompanied with a lot of smart work for you to have results. Scripture shows us that there is a possibility for two people to engage in similar work while they get different result. The one with the smaller result was termed a FOOLISH MAN and the one with better results was called a WISE MAN. The difference is in the knowing, you need to learn how to actually work hard 4) Voice out - Make sure you always voice out when you are not doing as much as you are supposed to. I have a lot of my guys that I tell intricate stuffs about my money-making journey and everyone puts heads together to ensure we all make money I might sound like aspire to perspire but the reality is, bouncing back is difficult but I want you to know that your hard work will eventually pay off I could have just said GOD DID but I know there's someone out there that might need this. Don't stop and don't settle, your future will thank you for it Over the next few days, I would be sharing some opportunities I recently found that I'm sure will print you money. Stay gluedshow more

"PRICE IS WHAT YOU PAY. VALUE IS WHAT YOU... GET." I keep buying $Kekec and I have a strong conviction. Here's Why: While the market is down, and Kekec is declining with it, there are data points that few are considering. Kekec borned in October and since then has been posting a different and original 30-second video every day, which I find extremely funny. For the past couple of months, they have also been posting daily on Instagram, and the attention on Kekec (which doesn't present itself on social media as a memecoin) is growing, moreover, it's increasing exponentially. The number of followers is increasing by about 500-1000 a day. This is largely due to the fact that they are not just focused on the main account but have several others that post reels and redirect to the main one. In short, an excellent strategy to keep growing more and more. Instagram link: Guess What? Not only are the followers increasing, but the team's workload is also growing. In fact, for a little over a month, they have also started pushing on YouTube, and the data here is promising as well. YouTube link: If we want to make a comparison, we can take Pudgy Penguins as an example, which has shown it can reach millions and millions of users without mentioning that they are a WEB3 company that owns an NFT collection. Or, if we want to be more appropriate by comparing one memecoin to another, we could take PONKE. Thanks to the use of social media and the quality of their content, they managed to achieve incredible numbers, which then translated into an increase in the coin's price. Kekec came before PONKE, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better than PONKE. I believe PONKE is unbeatable in terms of content, but I want to make you reflect on an important point. PONKE came after KEKEC, and after PONKE's success, many coins have emerged trying to imitate it. One of KEKEC's strengths, in my opinion, is precisely the fact that it leverages social media without being a copy-paste. Instead, it is a unique meme derived from a 90's film, and it uses a unique form of content. In short, KEKEC > KEKEC and no one else. I want to conclude by suggesting you follow them on Instagram and evaluate not only the exponential growth of their followers day by day but also observe how the views of each reel increase accordingly. Pay special attention to the comments. Many of the people commenting have no idea what it is, and you can see from the comments how Kekec generates particular emotions in people—strange but still emotions. Personally, I believe that when something is unique and even very strange, it needs time to be adopted. However, once it happens, it usually explodes and spreads like never before. A few days ago, a Kekec video was posted by a very popular meme page. They probably don't know what Kekec is about but thought the video could spark interest among their followers. How many other pages will do the same? Lastly, but not least, I want to point out how Kekec maintains a good market cap despite everything that has happened in the crypto world since October 2023. As far as I know and have personally observed, everything is extremely organic. There is no cabal behind it, and the quality is not reflected in a single jpeg but in work that has been ongoing daily for months. Every day they work harder, and the quality of their videos grows as well. I have no affiliations with the team, but I believe that Kekec truly deserves more in this world where we push celebrity or cabal-backed coins to hundreds of millions in market cap. I keep buying because the numbers suggest so. Don't just evaluate the chart (price), evaluate the data (value). BÂLKÂN DWÂRFshow more

It's 2030 and you are reviewing humanoid robots. A... Tesla. A Google. An Apple. An OpenAI. A Meta. A Figure. And a bunch of Chinese-made ones. Which one is best, and why? I think the Tesla understands the world much better. Why? There were eight Teslas around me on the freeway today. Start there. No other robot company has that data. But my robot is parked at the local high school twice a day. Its cameras see humans in all of our weirdness. How we move. Where we go. Where we walk. Who we talk with. What you are wearing. Whether your hair was combed this morning. That data will lead to robotics breakthroughs. Apple might keep up with its Vision Pro data, but it is too freaked out by the privacy implications of using said data. (On the front are six cameras and a couple of TOF -- Time Of Flight -- sensors that can see everything in your home in great detail). Google has a lot of data, for sure. All my: 1. Email. 2. Calendars. 3. Photos. 4. TV watching behavior. 5. Contacts. 6. Documents and spreadsheets. 7. Files. 8. Location data. So I expect Google's robot will be attractive to many. But how do you see the others shake out over the next five years? Make some guesses. But remember what an AI pioneer told me years ago about AI: it's all about the data. The Chinese ones have huge advantages: the Chinese have more data on their citizens, and many more citizens to boot AND they can make robots cheaper than we can. But now that you know OpenAI is building its own robot you have caught wind of what I've heard from many in San Francisco and Silicon Valley: that humanoid robots are the real prize of AI and will be highly profitable for those that can make them and find customers willing to buy them. Here, too, I learned long ago never to bet against Elon Musk. Will you?show more

First off, thank you for such great support so... far. The book was #1 in Poverty Studies (Amazon) and even got to the low thousands in Fiction and Literature 😊👍 which I got a kick out of...nice to have a book that isn't in the trillion ranking... I'll be continuing to promote this book as it's still new but it's fun to get back to work on the Quitturz. I hope to have that out in maybe three months. As usual, I'll be working on more than one book so I'll also be assembling Book 2 of the Al and Ivy series. That one will have more insight into the mental health issue, larger camps, and have much more Ivy as she became especially important as the series progresses. On The Road With Al & Ivy: Book One: Becoming A Face is now live on Kindle Unlimited and will be .99 until July 30th. Link: Note: The book is a realistic depiction of the scene, so it's 18+ Also the Anthology is priced at .99 for now. Book 1 Overview On The Road With Al & Ivy is a planned trilogy of novels that are loosely based on the author's life in the San Francisco Bay homeless scene in 2016. His travels took him and Ivy to Northern California, Marin County, San Francisco, East Bay, Silicon Valley, Gilroy, Monterrey Peninsula, and Fresno. The On The Road With Al & Ivy novels are about a group of people in 2016, with all of their virtues and flaws, dealing with a catastrophic situation with resilience and making both good and bad choices to survive. The novel depicts various subcultures and situations that are rarely covered in the media and gives the reader a realistic picture of the homeless population. That means everything, from the violence and drug use that's often sensationalized in the media, back stories that humanize the stereotypes, the sense of community as strong as any in the mainstream, and even the rough sense of humor that many have about their situation. The author's main intent is to put a human face on the homeless population. It's always been there and Book 1 begins that process. #BookTwitter #kindleunlimited #homeless #shitzu #books #siliconvalley #fiction #Blogsshow more

Existing blissfully as a trader is one of the... GREATEST life hacks. The BIGGEST LOSERS are the ones who are CHASING, CHASING, CHASING and CHASING. They tell you, "You need to be locked in, grinding hard, 100 hour weeks crafting your edge!" I don't think there has been a bigger lie told. MAYBE for the little guys who are trying to DESPERATELY find a way out of poverty [and even then, there are much better options out there in these conditions], But for the rest, the ones who are remain here, The MORE you RUSH and envision a specific lifestyle or material items to be in your possession because of social media programming, The more you're FORCED TO ACT and PANIC. Time is not running out. If it was, you'd ALREADY be cooked right now. What's 6 more months? Even a year? You've already been here X amount of years anyway. Opportunities COME to you but you MUST ACT when the time is right. In the fight game, when you LOOK for shots, you sometimes put yourself in unfavourable positions JUST to land. But if you're EXISTING and wait, The mistakes of your opponent COME TO YOU and you CAPITALIZE on it. Let the retards capitulate whether it's price or time based because they need the "fastest horse" in the moment. Look at the best trades made as of recent: ZEC and HYPE. Do you think "those guys" sat there overtrading? They SAW the trade, let it come to them and then blocked out all the noise. They had REASSURANCE AMONGST each other. A team on the same path. You have the same thing too. The "privacy supercycle" has already been identified and now ALL it takes is to exercise patience with additional plays in the same category. Do you agree that BTC will set a new ATH? You do, of course you do, otherwise you wouldn't be here. And if it's the case, you already know how to profit from that occurrence when institutions or big players look for "the next" catchup to ZEC or HYPE after BTC goes mainstream again. Perhaps mid or late into the bull cycle, but it'll happen. It's a tale as old as time, human nature doesn't change. The stage is set, you have to merely EXIST. ~ Dr. Axius.show more

I think the market is overpricing a Fed hike.... Going in with 50% of a new $5K predictions portfolio, and may increase sizing if the odds for a hike spike more on Friday's CPI print. I won't claim claim to have much differentiated alpha here or to have a high degree of certainty, but when I see genuinley attractive odds, I like to go for them. We're in a trap here. If Warsh hikes and the US government can't afford the interest on debt that's 120% of GDP, the long end goes higher. If Warsh is dovish and inflation stays hot, the long end goes higher. The only logical course of action is to step up long end buybacks more and more aggressively because both scenarios end the same way? The cheapest fix is getting the short rate down so Bessent can fund more buybacks with cheap bills and If that still doesn't hold the long end, the Fed steps in and buys it directly. Now may not be the time to cut, but it's certainly not the time to hike. Don't forget Bessent and Warsh both worked for Druck with the same macro worldview, and Bessent pushed him for the job. Why would they not be working towards the same strategy?show more

Unfortunately, I bought everything in these pictures on the black market. I paid $600 to $700 for some food. The price of all of this did not exceed $50 before the war.. Everything that money buys is not valuable. My daughter's life and safety are better than all the money.. As long as you are by my side, I will not fear anything.. My friends and loved ones.. After careful examination, we confirmed that Julia was suffering from jaundice Therefore, doctors recommend not giving up canned foods and looking for fresh foods for them. Julia is really getting better and better. This improvement is because of your standing by my side, my friends.. Managed to get out of Dubai. The following is... my personal opinion & experience 🇦🇪 Everything went quite seamless. Careem cabs operate normally. The airport is extremely well organized, considering the circumstances. The world has changed since Saturday and unfortunately, the country I moved to 3 years ago has been under heavy attacks. Why? No one really knows. However, I find it extremely disturbing that most media - including our beloved CT - exploits that serious situation to take cheap shots at Dubai and people who moved here. There are real families and hard working people affected. Most are scared or feel extremely uncomfortable. It's a traumatizing experience to hear missile interceptions right above your house. Nothing I wish for any human to ever experience, no matter if you pay 0% or 50% taxes. I don't even know what the link between those two things should be?? If anything, it proves that the UAE cares about their people and is able to protect its residents. Even at 0% income tax. Dubai was not known for it's strong military. It was always portrayed to be bling-bling golden steaks and influencers. But the UAE has shown the entire world that it can defend 1,000+ drones and 200+ missiles from a direct neighbor. That is impressive, whether you love or hate the UAE. Many countries would likely not be able to absorb that. So, if anything: Dubai and the UAE have demonstrated that the system works. I have lived in multiple countries around the world and the UAE is by far the most capable of handling crisis. Why did I leave Dubai then? Because it's not a situation I want to be in. Missile interceptions and drone explosions are no joke. Besides the danger that debris could hit your roof, there's an incredible intensity in the air. Most describe it as "intense calmness". While the Government managed to keep everyone from panicking, it's impossible for everyone to stay fully calm. And you can feel that in the day to day. The first night I got virtually no sleep. The night of my departure neither. I haven't left my house at all after the attacks started. But I'm out now. I really hope that leaving the country wasn't necessary, and that I will be able to come back to Dubai as soon as possible. And no, I'm not paid to say this, nor did I sign anything. Maybe part of the truth why no one who lives in Dubai has bad things to say about it is because it's one of the rare places on earth where people actually trust the Government and respect them? Not only for creating wealth and understanding business, but for caring and communicating in a way most other countries are simply incapable of. Anyways, I guess the point of this post is to 1) Tell everyone in Dubai that it's possible to leave right now. I know many people are very scared and want to get out. Be persistent with the airline if they cancel your flight and push hard to get rebooked on the next available one. And maybe choose a destination that isn't Europe, considering most of these flights are overbooked already and impossible to get on. 2) Dubai's self defense is impressive and we should acknowledge that. At least this one time, let's not derail into irrelevant discussions but show respect to the leaders + express empathy for those affected. 3) As an expat living in Dubai, I can still feel proud of my home country and do not have to choose. This isn't a black and white situation. Dubai is a melting pot of cultures and great place for Business. Other countries have better nature, social life or other things. It's also up to individual preference. 4) If you hate Dubai, yalla you don't need to live here, visit nor speak about it. Enjoy the place you live in and focus on your own. No need to feel triggered and take cheap shots at hard working people and families that are currently under heavy missile attacks. One final thing that really became clear to me this week is that after all, safety, health and living in freedom are absolutely priceless. May this all be over with soon and for sustaining peace to come in 🤲🏼show more

🥺💔We are so incredibly destroyed by the disappointment that... was this ceasefire; in fact I'm not sure if there was even a moment in time that we felt safe, not even for one minute, and the bombing and violence has returned even closer and more destructive than ever. The situation we stand in remains as dire as ever, and every day we get closer to the most horrific and miserable death that anyone can imagine - that is, to slowly starve to death in front of the world. It's painful to walk around and video the suffering people - they were once proud and esteemed individuals who likely had a prosperous job and a home to live in - now reduced to begging and crying on the streets for cameras who will only humiliate them in front of the world. I show you what I can, my friends, because I want people to know that we are here, trying to live and trying to help others live too, but I am always conscious of the people who are being shown, because going through this is miserable enough. 🫂It's a terrifying feeling, my friends, to have a spark of hope while you are also fighting the certainty of your own death and of everyone you hold dear. It breaks my heart to see the animals who look so sickly thin on the streets, the cats and dogs who have survived for so long, only to starve. How much longer will this seige be placed on us? Until every living thing has died? Bombed or burnt to death to become someone's nightmare or starved until we are only skeletons? I'm sorry to bring you such a heavy update today, my friends, but I am feeling desolate and I am feeling very hopeless too, seeing so many desperate and starving families living in tents has broken my heart. We need aid, more than anyone has ever needed anything, and we need aid so I do not have to watch my beautiful children turn into bones in front of my eyes. Please stand by me, stand by us, I beg you. Stand by us until this horror has ended, so we can repay all the beautiful things you have done for us. Please continue to support us with your donations because everything costs an unthinkeable amount, and it's only getting worse. I hope it will get better, my friends. Thank you for all that you do.. 🆘️💔🚨 🫂🥺🙏 🐾🐈🙏 🫂🚨 🐾🙏🫂🥺 💔show more
