IMAGINE THIS You’re stranded in the middle of the... ocean. Your boat is sinking. You know you’re going to drown. Then you see a rescue ship. It’s got food, water, and the ability to save you. But as it gets closer, you notice it’s flying an Israeli flag, so you tell it to turn back. That’s Iran today. In Tehran, taps are dry and water is now rationed from trucks in the streets. These trucks will run dry too. Meanwhile, Israel has water security and even water excess, enough to export 10% of Jordan’s supply. And Jordan only gets it because it has peace with us. If Iran wanted peace, they could have water. Instead, they’d rather sink than be rescued by the one ship that can save them.show more

Hearfelt apealing In this scorching heat, one small act... of kindness can save a precious life. Please keep a water bowl outside your home, shop, office, or street for these voiceless souls who suffer silently due to extreme heat and lack of clean drinking water. Dogs, cats, birds, cows, and so many innocent animals struggle every single day just to find a sip of water. What may feel like a small gesture to us can become a lifeline for them. Look at this sweet furry fellow, how calmly he is having a sip of water. Moments like these remind us that kindness does not need to be big to make a huge difference. A bowl of clean water can bring relief, comfort, and hope to a thirsty soul fighting the harsh summer heat. Please refill the bowls daily and encourage others around you to do the same. Together, we can make this summer a little kinder for those who cannot ask for help. Be the reason a voiceless soul survives this heatwave with comfort and love. #AnimalWelfareshow more

We are extremely proud of this achievement that we... have accomplished together. We truly risked our lives to reach this place, as it is located very close to military deployment areas, and the road was extremely dangerous at every moment. We have now started our new project to provide clean drinking water, and this truck is heading to one of the most dangerous and heavily affected areas. The work is exhausting and extremely tiring, but the need for clean water cannot wait. Displaced families are facing a severe shortage of safe drinking water, and more people are relying on this support every day. Today, we are launching water truck number 11 as part of this project, continuing despite all challenges and risks. Please share this post and follow our organization’s account to support the continuation of this life-saving work.show more

It uses proven Israeli reverse osmosis technology, among the most efficient in the world. This joint project directly addresses drought and population growth in one of America’s fastest-growing regions. This is Bacalar, a hidden paradise located in southern... Quintana Roo, Mexico. It looks exactly like the Maldives, but it's actually a massive fresh-water lagoon surrounded by lush jungle. It's called the Lagoon of Seven Colors because the water shifts into seven different shades of turquoise and blue. One of the coolest things to do here is visit Los Rápidos, where you can hop in the crystal-clear water and let the natural lazy river float you down the channel. You also have to rent a sailboat to check out the Cenote Azul and the Pirate’s Channel, where the water is so shallow it feels like a giant swimming pool. It’s way quieter and cheaper than Tulum or Cancún. Save this video for your Mexico travel bucket list! 🎥 bbacalar | IGshow more

When Politics Denies Water: How the PTI-Initiated Chapri (Mianwali)... Dam Water Supply Project Remains Stalled While 143,000 People Continue to Suffer: For generations, the people of the Khattak Belt in Tehsil Isa Khel, District Mianwali, have lived under the shadow of a severe and persistent drinking water crisis. The core Khattak Belt comprises the Union Councils of Tabi Sar, Tola Bangi Khel, Chapri, Kot Chandana, Sultan Khel and Wanjari. However, the wider area affected by this crisis and intended to benefit from Chapri Dam Water Supply Project extends across 87 villages&8 Union Councils, encompassing a population of approximately 143,752 people. Despite decades of promises, surveys, announcements&official acknowledgements of the problem, thousands of families continue to be deprived of reliable access to clean and safe drinking water. In many villages, residents remain dependent upon stagnant rainwater ponds& natural depressions, often shared by both humans&livestock. Women, children&elderly citizens are frequently forced to travel long distances under harsh weather conditions simply to collect water for their households. The same contaminated ponds serve as the only source of water for both people and animals. Situation is further aggravated by fact that groundwater lies at a depth of 800 feet and is often contaminated by harmful mineral deposits, rendering it unsuitable for human consumption. For countless families, access to safe drinking water remains a daily struggle rather than a basic right. What should be readily available in any modern society has become a constant source of hardship, anxiety and suffering. The consequences of this deprivation extend far beyond inconvenience. Unsafe water sources expose entire communities to waterborne diseases and serious health complications, undermine human dignity and place an enormous burden on already vulnerable households. Children grow up in conditions where access to clean water cannot be taken for granted, while women bear the disproportionate burden of securing water for their families. In a country where access to safe drinking water should be guaranteed, thousands of citizens continue to live in circumstances that no community should be forced to endure. Recognizing the gravity of this longstanding humanitarian crisis, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Chapri Dam Water Supply Project in 2020 as a comprehensive and permanent solution to the chronic water shortage affecting the Khattak Belt and adjoining areas. The project was designed to deliver clean and safe drinking water to more than 143,000 residents through the construction of reservoirs, filtration facilities, transmission lines and an extensive distribution network supported by gravity-fed systems and solar-powered pumping stations. For the people of Isa Khel, this was far more than a development project. It represented hope, dignity and the prospect of finally ending a crisis that had persisted for generations. It was the first serious large-scale governmental initiative aimed at permanently resolving one of the most pressing humanitarian challenges facing the region. Following its launch, substantial progress was achieved and approximately Rs. 3.5 billion of public funds were invested in the project's execution. Significant portions of the infrastructure were completed, bringing the project within reach of transforming the lives of tens of thousands of residents. However, following the change in government, progress slowed dramatically and the project remains incomplete due to the non-release of the remaining funds required for its completion. Current PMLN Government in Punjab led by Maryam Nawaz wants to maintain status quo, they feel the project was introduced by Imran Khan and its completion will help PTI. Without realizing its 143,000 people suffering from non-availability of drinking water. This is pure political victimization.show more

Every time you hear the term "Fossil Fuels" on... the tv, radio, news etc., you're being lied to. In 1892, at the Geneva Convention, the smartest man in the oil industry J.D. Rockefeller paid scientists to call oil a "fossil fuel" to induce the idea of scarcity, in order to set a world price for oil. The truth is oil is actually the second most prevalent liquid on earth next to water, and regenerates within the earth faster than it can be depleted.show more

Some kind organisations are posting messages urging people to... leave out water for our precious wildlife in this hot dry weather, which is brilliant, thank you. But this rumour doing the rounds that hedgehog mums abandon their nursing babies is utter nonsense. Hedgehog mums are the most patient, loving parents you can imagine. They are tightly bonded and would NEVER willingly abandon their babies. But they die. They die because lactation places a massive continuous drain on a mother's water reserves. If she is deprived of water, her body is forced to pull from its own tissues and blood supply to maintain milk production, resulting in rapid blood volume depletion and thickening of the blood. Producing milk requires a massive amount of calories and water. If resources are scarce, the mother's body goes into a negative energy balance, which drastically accelerates the depletion of her internal reserves. But they stay with their babies, protecting them, loving them, literally giving them their last drop of life. The starving dehydrated babies eventually stagger out of the maternity nest, instinctively seeking sustenance. By the time they are found by humans they are so near death and their dehydration so extreme that only subcutaneous fluids from an experienced rescue can save them. All this heartbreak and tragedy can be avoided, and rescues freed from bed-blocking babies, if only everyone simply puts out a dish of water. Right now. And tonight. Front and back. Under cover in the shade, if possible. A turn of the tap can save so many lives.❤️show more
