My friend Gary Harris brought this musician named D'Angelo... over to my NYC apt. He was trying to figure out what to do with the music he'd brought with him. I listened to every cut...not just out of respect but because it was smoking. At the end of the encounter he asked me, "What should I do with it?" I remember this as if it were yesterday. I've rewritten this several times, but I can't find... any better way to say it... so here it goes. One of the things I'm scared of most, is time. Particularly, time that is wasted. There's a sundial that hangs on my wall with an inscription that says, "I have done nothing good today, I have lost a day." X has always been a place where I wanted to put out things that didn't waste anyone's time. Whatever post I put out, whatever thought, whatever story, comment,... whatever it was, was worth the time for you to read it, and for me to create it. Because I know, in my bones, that the time we have is precious and thought of wasting even a minute of yours or mine doing something worthless, is genuinely one of my greatest fears. As we were walking down this mountain together, my son looks up at me and says, "Dad... God made me VERY good at hiking." I laughed and say, "Yeah he did!" A couple minutes go by and he stops, he turns at looks at me, and goes: "Dad, God made you VERY good at work and work is very important..." That got me. I often worry that my work pulls me too far away from my kids. Even more than that... ...I know that what I do on X does cause and will cause life to be harder for my kids than if I chose to remain silent Walking off that mountain, one of my deepest fears about wasting time was answered by the very person I was afraid I might be hurting. Wallahi, I met a genuinely honest man today around... Kabuga Junction, Kano. He was hawking these toy cars when I stopped to buy one. He told me it was ₦2,500, but I negotiated it down to ₦2,000, and he agreed. By mistake, I gave him ₦3,000 instead of ₦2,000. I didn’t even realize it at the time. My wife noticed after we had already moved on, and I told her to leave it. But the man himself later realized that I had overpaid him, and he actually rushed back to meet us just to tell me. I told him, “No problem, keep it. It’s yours.” But honestly, the fact that he came back even when he could have easily kept the money really touched me. It may be just ₦1,000, but honesty like this deserves to be appreciated. If you see him hawking these toys around Kabuga Junction, along the road towards Rijiyar Zaki/Kofar Fompo, please support him. Oh, since we wanna talk about Selena all the... time I wanna share this story this video is actually my live I was at Church for Wednesday service and Judah was being so funny and in the front row was Justin BIEBER and Selena Gomez making out not caring at all that they were in church and it was so funny because Judah acknowledge that they were making out in the front row. He told them to get a room. Everybody laughed. You would think that would stop them from kissing each other but it didn’t. They were so funny. This wasn’t the only time I also saw them the last time they were ever together April 2018 my sister who has lupus who died in 2023 we were at the service we were right behind Selena we were in the second row. Justin was in the middle row and Haley was all the way on the right sitting with Josh. I wanted to talk to Selena so I could introduce her to my sister cause my sister wanted to thank her for all the research for lupus but Justin and Selena before mass ended left together out the side door. 🚪show more

so jihoon didnt know jaehyuk kicked him. he jus... thought something dropped on him 😭 🐶 I only found out from watching the video that Jaehyuk kicked me when he woke up. at the time, I did feel like I got hit by something, but I never thought it was Jaehyuk. I thought something just fell, like maybe a light fixture or something 🐶 but turns out, he kicked me with his foot. I didn’t realize it at all. I was half asleep thinking “did something fall? did the light drop or something?” but it was actually him kicking me. I couldn’t really see either. my eyes were sensitive, dry, and kind of blinded, so I didn’t even notice it was Jaehyuk 🐶 I seriously just thought something fell on me. If I had known, I would’ve immediately put him in a headlock, but since I didn’t know, I let it slide.
