The only thing I'm excited about with Doomsday is... that I'm 100% convinced we're getting Doctor Doom as a playable character for the anniversary because of the Path to Doomsday event. Doctor Doom is basically Marvel Rivals' mascot, so I fully expect him to get special treatment, probably even more than Luna. I wouldn't be surprised if they already have seven skins ready for his launch. I'm almost certain God Emperor Doom will be one of them too. Both Fortnite and Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls have it already as a recolor, and it's just essentially a recolor anyways, so it seems like an easy choice.show more

Day 23 - well that hurt a lot The... hike from BC to camp 1 - what a monumental day - one of the hardest sessions in my life We awoke at midnight, had ‘brekkie’ at 12.30am, and we were pretty much gone by 1.30am The icefall is like a big Jungle Jim set, with constant overhanging danger - for the most part it is quite good fun, but there are not many places that you can stop safely to rest. I was so busy that I did not get the camera out once, despite the fact that some of the photo opportunities were incredible When you get to the top of the icefall, there are a number of sheer walls that need to be jumar’ed up and this is where the first sense of false security set in - all of us thought that we were nearing the end of the day and that the tents of camp 1 were not too far off. Big bloody mistake - whilst the terrain looks gently undulating, it is cleaved by whopping big crevasses and gullies, which inevitably means you have to go down to come back up. Some of the ice walls we had to climb were at least 10m and there were multiples of them The video below show just how tired we were as we crawled into camp 1 (9:30mins later, 850m altitude gained). HapdZi Birthday, Sam! As many of you are aware,... as part of this year's "Sam's Birthday Fundraiser" we have been raising funds for the dZi Foundation. The dZi foundation works along side communities in Nepal providing support, infrastructure, knowledge, education, and upskilling, whilst working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency. They are doing truly amazing work within these communities and I am so very glad that they are this year's recipient. Now for the exciting part! Drum roll, please... I am very proud to announce that we were able to raise $32, 290USD! Yes, you read that correctly! $32,290USD! Thank you to everyone who has donated, those who were cheerleaders, and those who were donators and cheerleaders. I am so incredibly proud of our community and I hope that you are too! You guys are fabulous! I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Jake Norton for sharing his love of Nepal and its people with us. By sharing his memories, and parts of his recent trip with Sam, we were able to have a personal connection with both the people and the places that our donations will benefit. For that I will always be grateful to Jake. I would also like to thank Jake for his very, very generous donation match during the last week of the fundraiser.
