HUAWEI HarmonyOS 6.1’s liquid glass effect is indeed the... closest implementation to iOS 26 among all current smartphone operating systems. It looks genuinely beautiful. This may be one of HarmonyOS’s advantages. At least in terms of visual rendering, dynamic blur, transparent materials, and layered depth, Huawei has clearly shown that it has the ability to create this kind of premium glass-like effect. I am not trying to argue whether it is right or wrong for Huawei to follow Apple’s design direction. My point is that the ability to actually achieve this effect is impressive in itself. By comparison, other Android-based OS skins have not yet shown the same level of execution. The Android camp still has work to do.show more

let's talk about Galaxy S23 Ultra One UI 6... Beta2 animation. Here is the video comparison, from which we can find several mistakes. 1. Compared with One UI 5.1, One UI 6 Beta2 gestures are unresponsive. Obviously, 5.1 has started to respond, and 6 beta2 stays in place like a fool. This is the root cause of the slowness you feel. 2. Compared with One UI 5.1, One UI 6 Beta2 animation is very simple, without the effect of wallpaper scaling, it looks very rigid and boring. 3. Compared with One UI 5.1 ,One UI 6 Beta2, there is almost no Gaussian blur effect. This is simply an animation made by elementary school students. It is the lowest-level design of human smartphone animation, and it is a garbage-level work that makes all colleagues laugh. Of course, I think Samsung will definitely change, but he is disgusting now. if beta3 does not change, I will continue to scold.show more

By the way, Samsung S25 Ultra One UI 8... ZYF7 (Android16 feature) supports screenshot HDR. This is an HDR photo of OPPO Find X8 Ultra I saw it on social media, and took a screenshot and put it in my gallery. It still retains the HDR effect of the original photo. However, it is worth pointing out that it is said that ZYF3 Beta2 do not have this function, This seems to be a new feature of ZYF7, which is also the advantage of my not participating in Beta.show more

My initial problem with Liquid Glass was that it... was terrible for accessibility despite how beautiful it looks it certain places. There is literally only one way to solve this readability issue – make the glass frosted/opaque. And from the public backlash that Apple received it was pretty obvious that it was a matter of time before they made this change. The problem now is that when you make it opaque, it barely looks any different from iOS 18, yet it keeps eating up resources and draining your battery. 3 betas in, and I still feel like this design direction was a big mistake.show more

Hot Take 👀 The new Glass slider in iOS... 27 should be the benchmark for every mobile OS. I mean, this takes customization to a completely different level. Users can actually control how much Liquid Glass they want instead of being forced into a single design choice. Meanwhile, One UI can barely offer this level of UI customization 😌 When it comes to UI/UX, Apple is the king. Samsung, prove me wrong by copying this for One UI 👀🔥show more

Hundreds of Russians have shown up to the Supreme... Court in Moscow today to voice opposition (without actually violating laws against protest) to Putin's new level of paranoia wherein he will ban the Yabloka political party. The party is challenging it in fake court. This party has only 3% support and is against the war. Likely that this is theater for "democracy".show more

Unlocking Zero Point Energy. The Casimir effect is a... spontaneous force which has potential applications as free source of energy. The effect can be manifesting as a repulsive tendency between two conductive plates in a vacuum environment or can be a phenomenon of attraction between the same plates. A number of characteristics determine the attraction or repellence. The current understanding of the Casimir effect is based on the interaction between the fluctuations in energy density of the vacuum and van der Waals forces at play. The vacuum is thought to be the primary driver in the dynamical effect while the van der Waals contributes to the attraction. Because the Casimir torque arise from the #quantum fluctuations of energy or, more precisely from the zero point energy of materials and their dependence on the boundary conditions of the electromagnetic fields, these kinetic forces can be tailored, this raises the intriguing possibility of exploiting it for free energy. 🔗show more

We are living in times where many of us... are living in parallel universes to each other. This semi- viral video of this young Cody lad is doing the rounds. Whether you like it or not, I am not surprised he has been charged with assault police. Whatever has happened in the lead-up still doesn't make it acceptable to get hands on like this with the officer. Hate this post all you like, the fact remains he got hands on with the officer, anything leading up to this is another matter.show more

Michael "I am a conservative INTELLECTUAL thought leader" Knowles,... but the only argument I have is... none? Instead, I let my team scroll through hundreds of comments to find the one posted by an account not located in the USA so I can create the illusion of an op that doesn’t exist. I am still not intelligent enough to consider that what this person says could be true regardless of where they live, that free speech doesn’t stop at America’s borders, that X wasn’t created only for Americans, and that what America does has an effect on the entire world - or simply that the account could be American and temporarily outside the United States, whether on vacation or for any number of other reasons. (Knowles has now done this a dozen times, and the fact that he thinks this is some kind of smart gotcha makes me feel embarrassed for him.)show more

Normally I wouldn’t be this interested in chip tech,... even considering this is impressive. Huawei has found a creative workaround to catch up with the likes of TSMC. But what makes it even more compelling to me is the bigger story and resilience behind it. Starting in 2019, Huawei faced intense sanctions that significantly restricted their access to advanced chip technology and global supply chains. For a while, it looked like this would seriously damage or even sideline them in major way. A lot of people thought the company was done or would be stuck far behind for years. Yet Huawei refused to die. Pushed hard by those challenges, they didn’t fold or give up. Instead, they dug in, poured everything into self-reliance, research, and fresh thinking. They reinvented how they approach problems and entered a whole new era of innovation and creativity that probably wouldn’t have happened this quickly, or maybe even at all, without being forced into that corner. That’s the part I find truly inspiring. When the pressure was at its heaviest, they turned obstacles into fuel. They focused on what they could control, built up their own capabilities, and came back stronger with real breakthroughs. It’s rare to see that kind of determination pay off in such a visible way. So many observers probably believed the sanctions would destroy them or at least slow them down permanently. Instead, they lit a fire under the whole company and sparked a level of ingenuity that feels genuinely exciting to watch unfold. Sanctions were supposed to end them. Instead, they pushed Huawei into this impressive new chapter of self-reliance and forward momentum. That kind of comeback story is exactly why I’m such a big fan and why moments like this announcement feel so satisfying.show more

A memory like this: I’ve been exploring Liquid Glass... for at least one year now, recreating many versions exactly nine all built with totally different techniques. I came to a realization. iOS 26, at least for me, missed part of the purpose. Liquid Glass is often used as decoration, while refraction could become the core of the user experience. Not an embellishment, but interaction itself. By turning a glass panel, refraction reveals something else: another app, another image, another portal. That’s when it clicked. You look through one image, turn slightly, and suddenly you’re somewhere else. Same moment, different feeling. I really hope Apple takes this approach to the next level. So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly... is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. With that said, and I'm very much trying to avoid letting what I want it to be not play a part here, I think it is a technology that is being used either off the coast of Antarctica itself or Bouvet Island. A third possibility is an area just to the northwest of the island that looks odd. It's possible it is a sonar scan from a ship, but why in that remote location? It looks like an antenna set up or rows of something that is out of place. I also believe that the weather events and fires that have taken place in Africa could possibly have been because of this. Each time we saw the anomaly, it was followed by a destructive weather event in Africa. A weird connection to that is we have been told and warned of a very busy 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. This is in part because of the above-average Atlantic ocean temperatures, which is the fuel to Hurricanes. With all this info, it's possible to see how the Anomaly could be a frequency tech that can manipulate or create weather, And or WARM up the Ocean temps to purposely enhance the Hurricane season and Storm growth. Keep in mind that many of our hurricanes and many of the biggest hurricanes have come from the west coast of Africa and form over the Cape Verde islands before heading towards the Caribbean and the United States. This is all of course speculation, and I'm learning many new things every day, so this idea may morph over time as we learn more. In the end, it is very hard to ignore all these findings. #antarctica #anonaly #AntarcticaAnomaly #BouvetIslandshow more
