I went on a walk down to the pond... and saw six of these great blue herons. Four of them flew away, so I turned around so I wouldn’t disturb them, But these birds have a 7 foot wingspan and sit about 4 feet tall. They are bigger than the bald and golden eagles that come here. I love seeing them here every year.show more
