I didn’t notice it at first—but rk’s hands were... literally shaking here while trying to pick the food…and in some behind pics u can see him wearing pain reliever patches… it was especially during the u.s / u.k tour period that some antis were nitpicking on his tiniest energy/dancing and calling him names, instead of being concerned…when in fact only god knows what he was enduring all along :/ rk is such a strong boy, who always put his whole heart& soul into his crafts and never shows signs of weakness—this is why i will never forgive them… i’m always so proud of u riki & pray u keep being healthy and happy 🫳🫳🐣show more

sometimes i think abt how hardworking and disciplined minho... has been for all his life .. he volunteered at elderly homes, he took on multiple jobs while also studying to afford dance classes, he lived alone at a young age, he donated to sponsor children, he gave what he could to others even when he didn’t have much himself.. he took in stray kitties without hesitation and without even asking his mom first, just cus of how kind his heart is… </3 and even while he was working towards his dream he put others before himself along the way.. he never head it easy, he was never given anything for free… he always had to work hard for it and he never complained he got eliminated on the survival show for the sole reason of using his pain for engagement. he walked home in the rain cus he felt like he didn’t deserve a taxi. they broke him and disrespected him and he still showed up the next day to keep going and give everything he has. his dedication and commitment is insane ;; it honestly makes me so emotional… i feel sad thinking abt everything he went thru but at the same time i know this was always his dream. i don’t care abt streams or charts at all but seeing where the group is now just gives me so much relief. it means all his effort and hard work wasn’t for nothing :( i’m just rly proud for him… i’m so glad he got to achieve what he worked so hard for. today he’s able to buy the prettiest toys and treats for his kitties, able to spoil his family, able to casually buy a gucci bag for his dads bday… his face is on the biggest screens, everyone knows him. he must feel so accomplished </3 u came so far. i’m so so so proud of u minho. u deserve everything u have and so much moreshow more

I know this post is a little late but... I was blessed enough to spend ur whole birthday with U and we’re still celebrating 🍾🥂💃🕺 Our bond is so perfectly matched in the most organic way. I kno it was God that brought us 2gether. If ppl only knew how big of a role u play in my life and in my career. If they only knew ur a big part of the reason the beehive is getting new music right now. U are my motivation and that voice that is always cheering me on. Ur so intelligent and such a boss. If they only knew the things we figure out 2gether, how we can talk with our eyes and be on the same page. How we are each others rock, the late night talks, the gut wrenching laughs we share, the arguments, the debates. U get on my nerves sometimes 🙄 😩 but it also brings me great pleasure to annoy u cause I’m annoying 👋 Hi Even after I annoy u, u always give me the biggest smile. Which if anyone knows u, they know that u barely do and that’s why it makes me so happy to annoy u 😹 😻 It’s so weird how we became so close because it happened out of nowhere but I’m really proud of what we’re building and most of all the unconditional love we have for each other. Ur a sweet gangsta and I love it! I always want the best for u and I wanna see u go all the way to the top where u belong. U deserve it. My twinn, my bestfrennn. So proud to call u my artist. "I was at this service today and my heart... just stopped when I saw this. He fell out of his chair, and for a second, everyone just gasped. We were all in shock. But then he pushed himself up. He was absolutely determined to help carry his brother on his final journey. I have never witnessed such a raw display of strength, love, and pure honor. A moment I will never forget. [rant post I'll probably delete later] Today was the... most beautiful day for me. As much as i got to enjoy the happy moments i still have been feeling emotional the whole day bcs of everything that was shared by taekook. I am always praying for taehyung and jungkook’s best health. Taehyung who has been going through so much yet chose to keep his pain to himself because he didn’t want to worry armys. Taehyung who said he didn’t have anyone to rely on during his military service. Taehyung who was away from fans for two years and felt that absence so deeply that he broke down the first time he stepped on stage again. Taehyung who lost his most precious pet. Taehyung who faced injuries but never spoke about them. Taehyung who has been going through a hearing problem for 2.5 years now. Taehyung whose pain was invalidated. My heart aches for him. Jungkook who hurt his shin so badly he developed a severe inflammation and is on the verge of getting a stress fracture yet still keeps giving ARMYs 100% of his dedication and never complained. Jungkook who suffered a back injury during a performance. Jungkook who keeps asking fans to understand despite owing us nothing. Jungkook who went through such a difficult time during his military service. Jungkook who despite being one of the most sincere people when it comes to his fans is still misunderstood. Jungkook who is the most precious to my heart. My heart breaks for him. If i could somehow give both of them my share of good health and happiness I would do it in a heartbeat. There is nothing more precious to me than seeing them both healthy happy and living their best lives. despite all the happy moments they have shared with us I’m so glad they felt safe enough to share their struggles with us. I will always be forever grateful that i get to love you both. I genuinely don’t know what the purpose of my life would be without loving them with all my being. Thank you for existing. I will never take your love for granted. Take care my loves 🤍show more

Christina Chang talked to Glamour about how Connor really... ate the pasta during the dinner table scene on episode 6 of Heated Rivalry. "Sitting across from him…it was outrageous. It was Connor’s idea to eat like that, and he made a great choice. And you’re right, it does showcase his comedic abilities because he’s not winking at it in any way. He’s literally shoveling food into his mouth, but he understood it’s nuanced, and that in this totally serious scene while his boyfriend’s about to break down, he’s just like, Oh God, look at the family drama; it’s amazing. He did say to Jacob, 'You never see anybody eat in a scene. I’m going to eat in the scene.' Meanwhile, I always put something in my mouth and then it’s time for me to speak. So I’m always like, Ugh. But in that scene, when the cameras were on them, we couldn’t get through several takes. You can hear everybody laughing because Connor would have noodles hanging out of his mouth. So at some point, Jacob was like, 'Okay, we need to cut. This is outrageous. We can’t even understand what you’re saying between the spaghetti and your accent. Let’s start over.'" 🔗 Read the full interview here:show more

In 2021, I met a little boy in Darkuman... who was making toy cars out of pieces of wood. I remember looking at him and thinking, “This child is gifted.” But behind that gift was a painful story. Prince Kojo was being raised by a single mother who was struggling to make ends meet. He had very little support and was enduring abuse at the hands of his stepfather. Like many children born into difficult circumstances, he had talent, dreams, and potential, but not the opportunities he needed to thrive. By the grace of God, we took him under our care at For The Future Ghana, supported his education, secured a scholarship for him to study Robotics at Asustem Robotics, and helped put him on the right path to gain admission to a TVET school, where he started studying Auto Mechanics last year. Today, Prince Kojo is beginning a sponsored automotive training programme at the West African Vehicle Academy in Accra during his school vacation. Sometimes I look at his journey and wonder what would have happened if nobody had stopped to care. How many brilliant children are out there right now, full of potential but trapped by circumstances they did not choose? Prince Kojo’s story reminds me that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. And sometimes, all it takes to change a child’s life forever is one person deciding to believe in them. Who knows what is next for him? Maybe one day he will build his own automobile company. Maybe he will design vehicles that transform the industry, or perhaps he will start his own toy car manufacturing company. What I do know is this: his story is only just beginning. And I could not be more proud of him. ❤️show more

This is how I remember Charlie, and always will.... He'd lost his voice and asked me to speak for him at some California events. It was so incredible to see the effect he had on people. His smile and the light in his eyes. He was with me on day 1, and I know he's with me now. He always said he had "a heart for California" and wanted so much to see us win and turn our beautiful state around. We will, Charlie. We will.show more

My heart is broken. Today we said our final... goodbye to Cheryl’s nephew Michael Hines one week short of his 21st birthday. Michael, who spent his life in a wheelchair from cerebral palsy, made himself the center hub for our family and of a giant community of friends. Michael was only marginally verbal and weighed only 65 pounds but his indomitable spirit, giant personality, and wide smile made him a blinding light in any room. A lifetime in a wheelchair never dampened his valiant soul and his heroics inspired all of us who were lucky enough to know him. At our wedding, he spent hours on the dance floor riding aloft on a hundred hands in front of the bandstand. His ecstatic laughter infected the crowd, the musicians, and caterers making it the most joyous event I ever attended. I relived that joy in our frequent FaceTime calls and on my visits to Florida and his to Cape Cod. He never complained. He was always grateful always brimming with gratitude, love, and kindness. Most of us work a lifetime to get into heaven. Michael had a ticket there the day he was born.show more

"My dad forgot my name last Thursday. He looked... at me for a long time and I could see him trying and I smiled and said it's okay Dad and meant it and didn't mean it. Yesterday I brought Bruno to visit. Dad was in his recliner staring at the window the way he does when he's somewhere we can't follow. Bruno walked in. Dad turned. And his whole face — his whole face — became the face I grew up with. He reached out both hands. He said Bruno's name perfectly. Clearly. No hesitation. He said it the way you say the name of something you have loved so long it lives below the place the disease can reach." He held Bruno's face in both hands for a long time. He talked to him. Full sentences. Things I haven't heard from him in months. He said — "There's my boy. There he is. I knew you'd come." I sat in the corner of that room and I let them have it and I didn't make a sound because some things are not for witnessing loudly. My dad has Alzheimer's. Some days he knows me. Some days he is somewhere I cannot find him. But he always knows Bruno. Every single visit. Every single time. Bruno walks in and my father comes back to the surface like something in him refuses to forget the one who never left. I don't know what that is. I don't know the name for it. I just know that Bruno walks into that room and my father says his name and for a few minutes I have my dad back. That's everything. Some days that's just everything. Drop a ❤️ for Dad. And for Bruno who finds him every single time in places I can't reach.show more

I’m late to this, but I see both sides... of the coin here. On one, of course Kyle Fletcher’s gonna be bummed by getting screwed out of his big stadium moment in front of his family while his anxiety levels were at an all-time high. On the other, I wish he included more context as to why that happened and what happened to Adam Cole, as well as the fact that he may never wrestle again and how that was announced on the day of All In, because it makes complete sense as to why that happened when you take everything into account. Also, I can’t believe I’m saying this again but please walk with me on this one: ADAM. COLE. DID. NOT. GET. HURT. ON. THAT. FUCKING. POWERBOMB. YOU. IMBECILES. Watch his arms hit the fucking apron as his head hits nothing. You can say it was a dumb spot all you want, that’s not why Adam Cole is sitting at home right now.show more

One of my favorite matches of the year. Absolutely... breathtaking battle, so many fantastic spots and sequences. Speedball was refusing to quit during the whole bout, he scouted Mark's offense, especially the Gutwrench Piledriver. Bailey had multiple counters ready and some of them were simply outstanding. Davis was a beast like always, he was destroying Speedball but also was able to survive all the surprises that Mike prepared for him and finally put his opponent down. This is a must watch, just amazing match.show more

As always, while watching some scenes from the episode,... I get this déjà vu. And this time it happened during the hospital scene. I’m honestly 100% sure that the earlier almost miscarriage situation was intentional. It felt like they wanted to show us Serhat’s reaction when his child and the woman carrying his child were in danger and then later contrast it with his reaction when the woman he truly loves, the other half of his soul, is the one fighting for her life. I will never stop appreciating Ilhan’s acting. From episode one people doubted him, saying he only had one expression. But back then that was Serhat… the controlled doctor, M’s husband, the surgeon who keeps everything inside. Now he’s completely different. The emotional shift is almost 180 degrees from that version of Serhat. From the cave scene to the hospital scene the emotions were already intense, but the hospital was a masterpiece. The way he could barely stay standing, the way he allowed himself to cry openly even though his guards were around him! he didn’t care. Because the woman he loves had just been lifeless in his arms. And look at the details: he went down on his knees twice in this episode for her. A man as powerful and towering as a mountain fell to his knees because he felt utterly helpless! First in the cave, when he realized he was helpless! she was fainting, the venom in her blood was faster than anything he could do, and his strength meant nothing in that moment. Then again in the hospital, when he finally reached his limit and simply couldn’t stay standing anymore😭 And this is the same man who showed almost no emotion when his father died. The same man who barely reacted when his mother had a heart attack. The same man who stayed composed when his legal wife nearly miscarried. The contrast is INSANE. thank you, #ilhanşen 🥹 Thanks to everyone who wrote Serhat’s character this way, and thanks to Ilhan for delivering it so powerfully. And thanks for all the tiny micro-details that people like me (the ones obsessed with details) will always notice.😭🤏🏻 #HalefKöklerinÇağrısıshow more

Rihanna’s performance had the whole crowd of celebs sitting... there dead, half asleep, fake energy. Rihanna sucks, obviously, but Kanye stands up and starts commanding the room to get on their feet, dancing and hyping it like only he can. That’s the real Ye that the media never shows. They call him chaotic and crazy, but this was him showing where his heart is and lifting up the moment, even for someone who doesn't deserve it. Doesn't seem like such a villain to me…show more

A lot of our rescues are urgent, but this... sweet little boy was in a league of his own. We found him with a severe neck injury from a piece of string that had been digging into him, but he was so incredibly terrified of humans that he actually escaped down a hole to hide. It took 36 long hours and the help of a kind local boy to finally bring him to safety, but we were never going to leave him behind. Today, that terrible pain has finally been lifted. He is still very nervous, but he is starting to slowly open his heart to our team a little more each day. The bravest little survivor is finally in safe hands.show more

Dear Everyone, The last few days have been hell.... Losing Kiyo has not been easy and I’m not ok. Kiyo gave me the best time of my life. The level of joy you brought into my word and any space he was able to exist in was incomparable. Kiyo was my lover, my best friend, and my truth. He truly saw me for who I was and I saw him for who he was. I didn’t just love him, I believed in him, prayed for his victory. I cared for him. Who would have thought that bringing back a piece of Tupperware would invite me into the world of the purest, kindest soul in the world. Kiyo would do anything for anyone. He was my hero and I was his. We both kept our capes on for each other whenever we needed to save the other person. I am grateful that I got to experience a love like his. I am grateful I got to spend some of the best moments of my life with him. I am grateful that even I grieve I still feel his warmth and care. Kiyo taught me be more patient and understanding and no matter how we came into this world and no matter how bad the world treated us, it doesn’t give us the right to exact that same unkindness to others. He loves animals, anime, a good meal, Steven Universe, a really inappropriate joke, and you never had to guess how he felt about you. As he was goofy he was charming. I still feel his hands interlocked into mine and he was fearless. He loved like no other man I have met in this world could. The first night we reconnected he gave my cat Patrick the middle name Bayard. He gave me first Christmas full of love and laughs. The first man in my life to actually pay attention to me and surprise me with gifts that he knew I would love and were true to who I was as a nerd. Anytime I could get it, I was with him. He had full access to my home and my heart. To Mike and Rico thank you for always being there for him and caring for him, Mike you coming into town in March really lit him up. First time I got to dance with him. Rico thank you for taking him to there museum. He loved every moment of it. All he could do was rave about how much made his day. To Tony, his wife and his gaming community on Destiny 2, thank you for being patient with my baby and giving him space to be man that he was and to his Dad and his brothers. He loved y’all more than you know. All he wanted was for y’all to be ok. And to all his true friends and loved ones know that he always thought of y’all. I will never say goodbye to Kiyoki-D’Andre Marcel Toliver, I will say see you later because no matter where you are I know you are watching me because what we had was Immortal. As I grieve I will try to give any notice on his memorial service which will be in NYC because his grandmother sent him here to find the best version of himself and I know he truly did. I want to share this video I made months ago because I was so proud of the man I had. I want to share also the last video he took of me before we went to Brooklyn Comic-Con. If there are typos forgive me.show more

This is a statue of the only man in... Troy who saw the trap. He tried to warn everyone, and this is what the gods did to him because of it... His name was Laocoön, a Trojan priest. When the Greek army vanished and left a giant wooden horse outside the city gates, all of Troy celebrated. Only Laocoön refused to believe it. He warned his people the horse was a trick and, to prove it was hollow, hurled his spear into its side. In Virgil's telling, he spoke a line that has outlasted almost everything else about Troy: "I fear the Greeks, even when they bring gifts." He was right. The horse was packed with soldiers, and Troy was hours from destruction. This sculpture shows what he got for it. Two enormous sea serpents rise out of the sea and coil around him and his young sons, dragging all three down together. The father's whole body is knotted in the struggle, every muscle straining, his face locked in a scream. The gods wanted Troy to fall, and Laocoön was in the way. The Trojans watched him die in agony and drew exactly the wrong conclusion: they decided the gods were punishing him for attacking a holy gift. So they pulled the horse inside their own walls, and that night, Troy burned... The statue is called Laocoön and His Sons. It is the work of three Greek sculptors from the island of Rhodes, Agesander, Athenodoros, and Polydorus, and dates to the Hellenistic period, making it well over two thousand years old. Buried for more than a thousand years, it was dug out of a Roman vineyard in 1506, and Michelangelo rushed across Rome to see it the day it was found. It has been called the single greatest depiction of human suffering in the history of art, but it endures because of what it is really about: the man who sees the truth, says it out loud, and is destroyed for being right while the crowd watches... It is one of the oldest patterns there is, and it has never stopped repeating. There is nothing new under the sun.show more
