Unfortunately, 4 fatalities were confirmed from the complex. This derecho resulted in over $11 billion in damages.show more

This is exactly what I wanted to hear from... id Software. "The team today is about the same size we were when making DOOM (2016)." "We're going to keep building the great games and tech that have defined us for the past 35 years." Can't wait to see what they build next. 😍show more

Some insider info regarding Deadlock PvE. The PvE mode... features 4 game variants and 7 different stages* (*?). Heroes have a progression system and personal Artifacts (currently one of the testing options). You kill monsters and get a chest containing an item. In one of the variants, chests drop from bosses. In another, they are rewarded for completing challange (potentially along the lines of: "kill 100 monsters using the 1st skill, get upgrades beneficial for the 1st skill"). Items can stack and be upgraded (similarly to Streetbrawl, but like you'll get 4 items, but each duplicate will affect the damage percentage, radius, etc.) The number of items and possible upgrades is limited. There are also legendary items from Streetbrawl, as well as a new type of item (artifacts) that have a separate inventory slot. Bosses can disable your stamina and items, and affect both you and the monsters in general. The final objectives differ for each mode, but exact descriptions are not available yet. --- In reality, this is the exact same thing that happened with StreetBrawl 6 - Valve threw in a wide variety of ideas and is currently testing them. (For those who don't remember, there were initially many different rumors about how StreetBrawl worked, but the final 4v4 system, random items, and round-based combat remained). Information from an anonymous source who previously discussed the mod-split in the Ranked update and the item changes in the Minor Update (prior to the Ranked update)show more

Isn't it weird that both the Nephilim and the... giants in South America and Mesoamerica were destroyed in a flood? This occurred 6,000 years ago during the Solovki Geomagnetic Excursion, that's why there are flood stories coming from China, Sumer, the Bible, Greece, India, Mesoamerica, etc... The last giant hominids were witnessed before the Bronze Age Collapse in the Levant region 3,300 years ago, and in Patagonia in 1500 AD. But there is also a story of the giant in Kandahar witnessed by American soldiers during the Afghanistan war.show more

This is the kind of object that makes you... stop and look twice. It’s an ancient Egyptian stone vessel, but look at the shape. Thin walls. Sweeping curves. Large open sections. A narrow central neck. And it all had to be worked from a single piece of stone without cracking it. Whatever tools they were using, the craftsmanship here was on another level. The question I keep coming back to is simple: How exactly were they making objects this complex thousands of years ago? (i filmed this at the Egyptian museum)show more

Around 360 BC, Plato wrote in Timaeus and Critias... that an Egyptian priest told Solon humanity had been destroyed many times by different catastrophes, the greatest being fire and water, with smaller disasters occurring in between. After each cataclysm, civilizations collapsed, knowledge and history were lost, and the survivors had to start all over again. The priest says that each new civilization was "like children," having forgotten the achievements and history of those who came before. This notion is 100% true, as 6,000 years ago there was the Great Flood of Utnapishtim, Noah, Deucalion, Manu, etc.; then, 4,000 years ago, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah or the collapse of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, the Akkadian Empire, and the Indus Valley Civilization; then the Bronze Age Collapse 3,000 years ago; then the Dark Ages of 536 AD; and finally the Little Ice Age beginning around 1300 AD.show more

There is confusion in the religious view that the... world is 6,000 years old. That is not true; the current Age/Yuga started exactly 6,000 years ago after a geophysical event. There was a smaller, but nevertheless devastating, event in the middle of this Age—around 3,000 years ago—during the Bronze Age Collapse and the Steno–Etrussia geomagnetic excursion. Currently, we are moving toward a change of the Age and the Aeon. This event will be so devastating that it will probably reset civilization, just as it did 6,000 years ago.show more
