I saw that Cloudflare recently redesigned their UI and... noticed this really cool modal concept: some modals open to what appear as full pages, but are closable to return to where you left off This gives you focus and breathability by omitting the background distraction a typical modal with a faded/blurred backdrop would I recreated this style in Spamwise and ended up really liking it!show more

Bit of throwback to this old animatic I made... back in August 2021. I've never shared this outside of a few discord servers for some feedback. I was going to do full-blown animation with this, but due to really bad burnout and me not liking this anymore, I ended up scrapping it.show more

The bravest babyface in pro wrestling today. In a... world where everyone's wanted to be Stone Cold for decades, where cool faces are as big a problem as cool heels, he's willing to say "Stand up. Cheer. I can't do this alone. I need you. You matter. This matters." And so it does.show more

Fixed this small bug in Linear’s app today which... I often see in other apps as well. Here’s a small before/after. The issue: When you open a popover inside a modal (think a custom select), clicking outside the popover to close it also closes the modal. The desired behavior is to close the select on click outside while keeping the modal open. This often happens because custom dropdowns or select components are rendered in a portal. The modal then treats the interaction as an outside click because, technically, the dropdown isn’t inside the modal in the DOM, it’s rendered elsewhere via a portal. The fix depends on your setup, whether it’s Radix/Base UI, fully custom etc. But since you now know the cause of it, you can ask your agent to fix it for you!show more

Dear Lakers FC, I hope this letter finds you... well and it deeply saddens me to have to write this. If this is it I would like to give my thanks for the last 8 years worth of memories but unfortunately, Bron FC must focus on what best interests us at this time. In the near future where LeBron retires, we will consider a potential return, but until then, thank you for everything and good luck with Linka.show more

@jessicamachadoshow Good morning BUNNY!!!! Hey so a couple things... and to my Bunny sisters, if you could please pass this message along I’d really appreciate it but: 1) Did you actually do this? You really are a sick person if true, it’s a podcast Messica, that’s really low. Show some respect. 2) Are you going to war with Kirk because he said mean things about you? 3) WHEN ARE YOU COMING AT ME????? I NEED TO GET MY DUCKS IN A ROW FIRST HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH 4) I loved your program last night. Let me know when you want to do a crossover, but after hearing all of this about you today I fear it would be detrimental to my brand (Patrick Ford from the Kirk Minihane Show) and I’d ask for 70% of the superchats. I’m sorry I was rude to you because I misjudged you DRASTICALLY. You and your crew are TREASURES and I am so thankful to have you in my life. Love you Bunnies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!show more

Here is a drill to help you learn what... it feels like to use the ground and start to sequence effectively. Notice how the club is setup in the video between my feet. Get to your back swing and jump favoring your lead foot left and laterally like I am. With that feeling step in and hit one. Not where you are pushing off from when you swing and try and get that into a feeling that makes sense to you. This is how power is created in the golf swing. This is also where physical limitations can show up.show more

I watched Robot on the Road and honestly I... did not really know what to expect going in At the beginning it just feels like a pretty normal little road trip setup with this robot hitchhiking around Japan and it almost gives off a chill slice of life vibe But it does not stay like that for long The more it goes on the more you realize the robot is doing some really questionable stuff and the way it focuses on women without their consent makes the whole thing feel really uncomfortable By the end I was not really sure if I was supposed to find it funny or just feel weird about it Overall it feels like one of those shorts that tries to mix dark humor with awkward situations but it mostly just ends up being unsettlingshow more
