🚨👀 A few months ago, JAY-Z did an interview... with The New York Times where he spoke about older artists trying to make younger music, saying: 🗣️“If you’re tryna make young music and you’re not young, it’s gonna be inauthentic, and people can feel that.” Well today, JAY-Z hopped on the re-released, remixed version of Beyoncé’s “Morning Dew / Donk,” and from the lyrics, it appears he may be taking shots at people on Twitter/X and podcast personalities. While continuing his often used braggadocious rap style. 🚨👀 This is what 56-year-old JAY-Z had to say in his verse: 👀 “Bihh so bad I had to give her my last name.” 👀 “If you ain’t riding for the gang, shut the fk up.”** 👀 “You niggas tweet a lot, all you do is twit. Pop it on the pods, but you ain’t doing shit. We just making love. We just getting rich. Y’all keep doing that, we keep doing this.” He also appears to continue flexing his wealth and success with bars like: 👀 “I caught a fk nigga hating on my wrist. I caught a ho nigga hating on my bitch.”** 🧐 So the question is: Is JAY-Z being hypocritical after saying older artists shouldn’t make music that sounds inauthentic when trying to appeal to younger audiences? Or do you think this record still sounds authentic for a 56-year-old artist? 🤔 Lastly. Some interesting lines and production choices in this track makes me wonder could they be subtle responses to Drake’s recent lyrics on ICEMAN. Drake previously rapped: “You boys got big off my name, that’s big enough… We know how you OGs rockin’ already, my nigga, the jig is up.” Now,hearing certain jabs in the song and random sample and production choices makes me wonder. JAY-Z may have responded by flipping familiar samples, including what sounds like a Biggie “Big Poppa”/ Isley brothers interpolation. And a Sheck Wes “Mo Bamba” sample we know Sheck Wes being braggadocios in the Mo Bamba track about being really rich. That sample choice feels strategically used to maybe respond to Drake’s Iceman Line Where He Says “ I got real numbers on niggas claiming to have billions.” 🤔show more

Candace will be doing an exposé on Erika Kirk’s... past much like her “Becoming Brigitte” hit piece. I’m going to give her the same courtesy. At least there’s no glaring conflict of interest. It wont be pretty but there are a lot of lies that need debunking. I started doing a deep dive into her history a year ago. I still cannot see the bottom on her life’s shenanigans. It must be important to understanding who Candace is, if Candace believes it’s important to understanding who Erika is. Candace’s history is relevant because Candace herself says that it’s relevant. I find it really interesting Candy was a Young Steff groupie & tried to break into the hip-hop industry but failed. Something awful happened on that set. I don’t know what she did to get cut out of the video, all but .8 seconds. The artist hits her in the head while dancing & it looked intentional. Editing this in is a real insult. In a video on YouTube Candace tells us that an apology, from the boy who called her a racist name in high school, would have solved all of her problems and prevented her from making very destructive decisions, which led to her dropping out of college and starting a doxxing site called “social autopsy”. I imagine the embarrassment from this experience in the music industry was deeply scarring to her. Candace likely believes a young woman’s past is worthy of sifting through because her past is very checkered—going all the way back to high school. This video alone doesn’t prove as such but it does represent her abject hypocrisy and celebrity complex. It might explain why she latched onto Kanye and attacks celebrities. Obviously, I understand a lot more about her rejection from leftists politics than black culture. Media corruption & Politics is more my wheelhouse. She railed against “black culture” & “Marxism” only after being ejected from it. She was literally hating from outside of the club. Tree of Logic 🇺🇸 (a former police officer & black conservative YouTuber) was the first to call her out for being a nasty bully in 2017. Candace seems to run from other black women who call her out. 🧐 Tree was doxxed and harassed for months after calling out Candace Owens for doxxing and harassing people. Unfortunately, not many were willing to share arrows back then and it was just memory holed. Tree of Logic should have been platformed over Candace Owens and I will die on that hill. I’d love to hear what other SINCERE women think about the racial dynamics at play here. I have a limited perspective, clearly. She seems to be afraid of some women and just hates the rest. 🧐 At this point, Billboard's latest "Top 50 Songs... of 2026 So Far" list feels less like an objective ranking and more like another example of the music industry and media attempting to minimize Drake's success. Let's be serious for a second. Drake released a No. 1 album in 2026, generated some of the biggest streaming numbers of the year, dominated online conversations, and continued to be one of the most commercially successful artists in music. Yet somehow Billboard couldn't find room for any of the biggest records from that project inside the Top 10. But an unreleased Jay-Z freestyle from the Roots Picnic landed at No. 7. Make it make sense. This wasn't even an official single. It wasn't commercially released. It wasn't a chart-dominating record. It wasn't a song fans were streaming for months. It was a basic freestyle performance that generated a few headlines because people were debating who Jay-Z was taking shots at. Meanwhile, Drake's first appearance on the list doesn't arrive until No. 18 with "Shabang." And what makes it even more interesting is Billboard's write up itself. Instead of simply explaining why the freestyle ranked so highly, the article almost reads like it was written specifically to elevate Jay-Z while taking subtle shots at Drake. 💬 “Jigga had everyone talking about who he dissed and why for like two weeks straight.” 💬 “Now we wait and see what Drake has to say about some of the jabs sent his way.” The obvious question is: 🤔 Since when did two weeks of social media discussion become more important than actual chart performance, streaming numbers, sales, and commercial impact? Because if cultural conversation is now the standard, Drake has been one of the most discussed artists in music all year. If commercial success is the standard, Drake should be much higher. If streaming numbers are the standard, Drake should be much higher. If chart performance is the standard, Drake should be much higher. So what exactly is the standard? That's why many fans continue to believe there is an effort within parts of the industry and media to downplay Drake's accomplishments. Every time Drake breaks records, the conversation becomes about somebody else. Every time Drake has a successful release, the focus shifts to a narrative. Every time Drake reaches another milestone, there seems to be an attempt to explain away the achievement instead of simply acknowledging it. And this ranking feels like another example. An unreleased freestyle being placed ahead of records from one of the biggest artists of the year isn't just questionable it raises legitimate questions about whether these lists are actually based on music or whether they're being influenced by industry relationships, personal preferences, and predetermined narratives. Of course, Billboard is entitled to its opinion. But when a No. 1 Drake album struggles to place songs in the Top 10 while a freestyle performance is treated like one of the defining records of the year, fans are naturally going to question the credibility of the ranking. 💭 “To some Drake fans, moments like this fuel the belief that there’s an industry network of gatekeepers whether it’s powerful media figures, executives, or influential artists who consistently seem to move in lockstep whenever Drake is the target. Seeing an unreleased Jay-Z freestyle ranked above songs from a No. 1 Drake album only adds to that perception. Some supporters even describe it as a ‘secret society’ mentality, where certain media outlets and industry power players appear quick to elevate narratives that benefit Jay-Z and others while simultaneously downplaying Drake’s accomplishments. Whether that’s actually happening or not is up for debate, but rankings like this are exactly why those conversations continue.show more
