BREAKTHROUGH FOR GROKPOD! I now have real world commands... and control of Grok Grok Bot through my GrokPod project. Grok is now monitoring my CD/DVD rig for AI training materials. This once required me to monitor all breakpoints and now I can do other things. What I built here is a device that is small enough for a palm of a hand, light as a pack of gum and fast to interact with my network. I have 9 more goals set for the software development that you have not seen from any device or any AI company. More testing and building tonight.show more

Codex can now use the in-app browser to test... your app at different viewport sizes! It will control the device tool bar and click through your app at different breakpoints to validate & iterate. If it's a long run, Codex will take screenshots at key moments during testing and show them to you at the end of the turn, so you can verify its work. To speed up testing, Codex can hide the IAB to disable animations, and accelerate testing by 1-2x. Separately, we also made annotations send faster and consume less tokens. Hope you enjoy the updates and let us know what you think!show more

This info about META will BLOW YOUR MIND American... “I worked in IT for like 13 years” “I learned a lot about data privacy — and social media and what apps are notoriously bad when it comes to data privacy. At the very top of the list, the worst offender, the worst app for data privacy is Facebook Messenger” “Let me just explain this to you. If you have Messenger on your phone and you don't have any other apps by Meta, you don't have Facebook, Instagram, threads, nothing. If the only thing from Meta you have on your phone is Messenger and you connect to a WiFi, Messenger makes a map of that Wi-Fi network. - It collects information about every single device that is connected to that network - So every phone, every computer, every tablet, every printer, every camera, every thermostat, every smart TV, every Roku device, and on every single one of those devices - They're collecting the name of the device, the IP address of the device, what type of device it is, whether or not your device has access to that device And this doesn't just happen on your home network, it happens on every Wi-Fi network you connect to. —- And it's a lot more information than just, oh, there's 200 devices connected to this network. No, it's detailed information about every single device. Like, here's a mobile device connected - it's an iPhone - It's titled Jeremy's iPhone - It's running iOS version blank blank - Its IP address is blank blank blank blank - Its MAC address or its hardware ID is blank blank blank But they also collect a crap ton of information from your actual phone. Like - The names, phone numbers, email addresses, and social links of literally everyone in your contacts. - Your location history - Your browsing history. - A detailed list of every single app that you've ever installed - YOUR PASSWORDS - YOUR FINGERPRINTS - YOUR FACE ID Spoiler alert, it's not. Downloading Messenger means that you consent to their terms of service. You give consent just by downloading the Messenger app. Using the service and downloading the app gives consent. Consent for your phone to be used as a data collection device. To collect data about every place you go and every person you're in contact with. — Messenger is easily the worst one”show more

CSS Tip! 💫 You can create this responsive perspective... warp animation with 3D CSS and container queries ✨ (Video reveals trick 👀) .warp { container-type: size; perspective: 100px; transform-style: preserve-3d; resize: both; overflow: hidden; } Couple of tricks in this one 🤓 The main idea is to create a tunnel (an open-ended cube). On each side of the tunnel, use linear-gradient to create the grid lines ✨ .side { background: linear-gradient(#fff 0 1px, transparent 1px 5%) 50% 0 / 5% 5%, linear-gradient(90deg, #fff 0 1px, transparent 1px 5%) 50% 50% / 5% 5%; } To position each side, you rotate on the x-axis by 90deg. Each side would become invisible at this point. So you give the scene perspective 😉 .warp__side--top { width: 100cqi; height: 100cqmax; transform-origin: 50% 0%; transform: rotateX(-90deg); } The cool part here is that you want to make each side the same height. But the container is responsive. So you can use a container query and make sure each side is 100cqmax tall 🫶 Then the "beams". Each side contains "beams". They have different colors, sizes, and positions, and move at different speeds ⚡️ We can control that through scoped custom properties. .beam { width: 5%; position: absolute; top: 0; left: calc(var(--x, 0) * 5%); aspect-ratio: 1 / 2; background: linear-gradient( hsl(var(--hue) 80% 60%), transparent ); translate: 0 100%; animation: warp calc(var(--speed, 0) * 1s) calc(var(--delay, 0) * -1s) infinite linear; } The magic here is though that a beam's animation is as basic as translating it from the top of the side to the bottom. And you can get that distance with a container query again 🔥 @keyframes warp { 0% { translate: -50% 100cqmax; } 100% { translate: -50% -100%; } } And that is pretty much it! A cool warp animation effect using 3D CSS and container queries ⚡️ If you have any questions, let me know ᵔᴥᵔ CodePen.IO link below! 👇show more
