After a weekend of testing and working on something... with GPT-5.3-Codex & Opus 4.6, ChatGPT Pro + Claude Max 5x are still the best combo in my opinion Using Codex & Claude Code CLI running in tmux (the desktop apps are still a bit buggy) and they're accessible even on the go from iPhone with Termius (and VPN) Usually starting with GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh and Opus 4.6 in plan mode, discussing changes and options, and each writing their plans down to separate Markdown files Then letting GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh (or Opus 4.6) implement the changes as the first draft, then Opus 4.6 reviews them with a team of agents (works pretty well already with tmux even though still experimental) based on both prepared plans, fixes stuff, and then another review by GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh or vice versa Interesting that even Opus 4.6 still occasionally makes silly mistakes like wrong imports, partial or overly broad renaming of variables/functions, etc Fun fact, OpenAI apparently plans to use their Super Bowl ad to promote Codex - curious what that will look likeshow more

Most robots still need markers, checkerboards, or long calibration... rituals just to know where their arms are. Now it works from raw images in seconds. roboreg is a markerless multi arm localization toolkit that plugs into ROS 2 and RViz. No special hardware. No custom setup. You toggle between robot descriptions and the system figures out the rest. The idea is simple: ✅ Hand eye calibration from plain RGB or RGB D images ✅ Only three robot poses needed for millimeter accuracy ✅ Works with any ROS 2 compatible robot and camera ✅ Fully open source under Apache 2.0 It is powered by Hydra, a new marker free ICP variant that converges far more reliably than classical baselines and runs in under a second. If you want to try it: roboreg: ROS 2 roboreg: Hydra paper: pip install roboreg More details and discussion on Open Robotics Discourse:show more

Simplicity is at the heart of great software. This... is one of the reasons why Claude Code has been sticky for me. As a builder, I love planning and brainstorming, and this is now a key focus of Claude Code. I use Shift + Tab a lot to cycle between brainstorming, planning, and execution. This functionality provides the appropriate interface for me to either be very involved or less involved as I please. This works particularly well when building out new and complex features or entire new projects. This saves a huge amount of time. It allows me to tune Claude Code to execute and build more effectively. It also builds a loop of trust, and I often (surprisingly) find Claude Code asking for clarifications when it's confused. Coding agents don't normally do that. I have shared before on the power of brainstorming with AI for longer times. Try it and you will not be disappointed. Vibe coding is fun, but pair it with intentional development cycles, and you watch how far you can take a project with coding agents today.show more

Robotics keeps hitting the same wall. Single task RL... works, but... it does not scale to hundreds of tasks or new embodiments. This new paper looks like a real step toward fixing that. The team introduces MMBench, a benchmark with 200 tasks across many domains and robots, and Newt, a language conditioned world model trained online across all 200 tasks at once. The simple idea behind Newt: The model learns from demos to get the right priors It trains across many tasks through online interaction It uses language to ground the goal It adapts fast when a new task shows up What stood out to me: ✅ One model trained on 200 tasks at the same time ✅ Language conditioned control for both states and RGB ✅ Better data efficiency than strong baselines ✅ Strong open loop control ✅ Fast adaptation to new tasks and embodiments ✅ Full release of 200 checkpoints, 4000 demos, code, and benchmark This is a good push toward general control instead of one model per task. Introducing a new tool called "SideChannel". A secure alternative... to OpenClaw. Utilizes signal for communication and has Claude integration. I built SideChannel, an open-source Signal bot that connects Claude AI to your entire development workflow. End-to-end encrypted. From your pocket. The real power is autonomous development. Send one message like "Build a REST API with auth, pagination, and tests" and SideChannel will: - Generate a full PRD with stories and atomic tasks. - Dispatch up to 10 parallel workers (each running Claude). - Independently verify every task with a separate Claude context. - Run quality gates to catch regressions - Auto-fix failures. - Send you progress updates via Signal as work completes. Every piece of code is reviewed by a separate AI context using a fail-closed security model. If it detects security issues, backdoors, or logic errors — the code gets rejected automatically. No rubber stamps. It also has memory that actually works. Conversations are stored with vector embeddings for semantic search. Claude remembers your project conventions, past decisions, and what's been tried before. It gets smarter about your codebase over time. Other things I'm proud of: - Plugin framework for extending with custom commands. - Multi-project support with per-user scoping. - Rate limiting, path validation, phone allowlist. - Git checkpoints before every task, atomic commits after. - Stale task recovery, circular dependency detection. - Works on Linux and macOS, one-command install. It also integrates into OpenAI or Grok (optional) for more Generative AI response for simple things like "Whats the weather in New York City right now?".show more

GITHUB JUST KILLED THE WORST PART OF VIBE CODING... they shipped a free tool called Spec Kit and it already crossed 120,000 stars the fix is stupidly simple instead of tossing vague prompts at an agent and praying it doesn't wreck your project Spec Kit makes the AI write a full structured spec before it touches a single line of code it works through the problem first figures out what you want to build asks about the gaps lays out the project then it starts coding you get fewer insane bugs, cleaner output and results you can predict the flow looks like this: /constitution for your rules and standards /specify for what you want to build /clarify for the open questions before you start /plan for architecture and stack /tasks for the ordered work /implement to run it it plugs into Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI and 25+ other agents 120,000 stars, 10,000 forks, open source, shipped by GitHub itself learning to drive agents like this is most of what separates people getting hired as AI engineers from everyone still fighting their promptsshow more

🚨 Alibaba just open sourced a GUI agent that... lives inside your webpage and controls it with natural language. It's called Page Agent and it's not a browser extension. It's pure JavaScript no Python, no Puppeteer, no headless browser, no screenshots. Just one script tag and your web app understands natural language. Here's what it actually does: → Embed it with a single tag or npm install → Control any web interface with plain English commands → Text-based DOM manipulation no OCR, no vision models needed → Bring your own LLM (GPT, Claude, Qwen, anything) → Ships a built-in UI with human-in-the-loop support → Turn 20-click ERP/CRM workflows into one sentence → Optional Chrome extension for multi-tab agent tasks → Works on any web app SaaS, admin panels, internal tools Companies are charging $30/month for AI copilots built on this exact idea. This is 3 lines of code. Your users. Your interface. The AI copilot layer for every web app just got open sourced. 1.6K stars. 100% Open Source. (Link in the comments)show more

BREAKING: Anthropic just dropped Opus 4.8—and it is a... MONSTER We've been testing for about a week Every 📧 and our verdict is they could've just called it Opus 5, it's that good. Here's our vibe check: - Beats GPT-5.5 on Senior Engineer bench. On our toughest benchmark Opus 4.8 scores a 63—a hair higher than GPT-5.5's score of 62, and a full 30 points higher than Opus 4.7. It tackled a ground-up rewrite of a production codebase, and actually built something that works. HOWEVER: Coding performance varied a lot at different reasoning levels. We recommend using it on xhigh for best results. - Incredibly good writer. Opus 4.8 scored a 79.6 on our writing benchmark—measuring models on real-world writing tasks we do all of the time like essay writing, promo email writing, and more. It beats GPT-5.5 by 6 points. It produces well-written prose with fewer "AI-isms". It's also very good at writing in your voice given the right context. HOWEVER: Writing performance also varied with reasoning levels. Medium reasoning had higher incidence of AI-isms—we found best results with high. - Beast at knowledge work. Opus 4.8 is very good at general knowledge work tasks like report creation, research and more. It produced the best PowerPoint one-shot we've ever seen on our deck generation benchmark. - Emotionally intelligent, willing to question the frame. I've also found it to be quite good at talking through psychological or interpersonal issues. It has a high EQ, and it's also good at not glazing and helping to expand your perspective. Its thought process feels extremely rich and dynamic. THE BAD: These days a model is only as good as its harness, and Codex is still a far superior harness to the Claude Desktop app. This has kept me using Codex + GPT-5.5 as my daily driver, but I am flipping back and forth a lot more between Codex and Claude. Anthropic is back baby! Read the rest on Every 📧:show more

Sharing my new skill! It keeps track of high-signal... X accounts for top AI news, papers, projects, etc. Total gamechanger for me. Built with X MCP tools. Give your agent the skill and tell it to generate the artifact with top stories. Works for Codex, Claude, Hermes, OpenClaw, or whatever you use. 3 steps: 1. Set up X MCP - X API: 2. Install skill here: 3. Run prompt: "Use the x-agent-intelligence skill to build a self-contained local feed from my X MCP connection; ask for my source handles if needed, save feed.html, and validate it." It should generate a nice, beautiful HTML artifact like the one shown in the clip. You can tune it however you want. You can then set a schedule/automation to do this daily or whatever cadence you prefer. I have it every 4 hours. You will need to curate the X accounts yourself, but I have shared a few good ones under the assets. You can ask your agent to tune it to however you like. I have also shared my personal feed with our community here: I understand if it gets tricky to set up. Please reach out to me in the community forum. I plan to do a little tutorial or live session soon to help others reproduce the process. You can also store the feed as a wiki, as I have in my own implementation, but that's optional. If you encounter any issues or have ideas on how to improve it, please open a PR.show more

ZK Stack is a modular framework for building sovereign... ZK-powered hyperchains, based on zkSync Era’s open source code. ➡️ Visit the new ZK Stack resource page: ZK Stack gives builders full sovereignty, ranging from the choice of the data availability mode to using your project's own token to decentralize the sequencer. ✅ Mature and battle-tested ZK Stack is the most battle-tested framework, ensuring all transactions are fully verified by Ethereum with the power of ZK proofs. ZK enables validity proofs to ensure the hyperchains' ecosystem state can't be corrupted and invalid transactions can't exist. ZK Stack has been further strengthened by $5M+ invested in audits, $~30M transactions-per-month and ~250k daily active users. ✅ Tailored to your needs ZK Stack grants you full autonomy to tailor your blockchain to cater to your product or protocol use case. A modular stack of ZK-powered components. ✅ Ready for mainstream adoption No matter how much adoption grows, ZK Stack brings the power of horizontal scalability to Ethereum. Just like adding more servers to address specific needs on the Internet, a boundless amount of hyperchains can be created with minimal costs. ZK tech, combined with our state diffs and data-compression approaches, unlocks: 📌 Flat fees regardless of gas price 📌 Privacy by default 📌 Cheap oracles (or any high-frequency protocol) 📌 Ultra low cost Validium accounts 📌 UX magic with native account abstraction ✅ Seamless access to users and liquidity Hyperchains are seamlessly interconnected with hyperbridges — the native and trustless communication protocol of the ZK Stack. It enables any chain to natively exchange messages and transfer value with any other chain, thus tapping into the users and liquidity of the entire hyperchain ecosystem. Unlike classic, centralized, bridges, hyperbridges rely solely on cryptography for security. ✅ Built today, to last forever ZK Stack is rooted in the long-term vision of Ethereum, aiming for subtraction and decentralization. Abiding by the ZK Credo principles, an alliance of developers and maintainers will guarantee the resources enabling this fully open source framework to evolve to onboard the needs of the next billion users.show more
