Massive performance improvement. This is a bit more of... technical post, but man do I love this stuff! Units navigate the map using a 'Navigation Mesh'. Before, I was using one giant nav mesh that spanned the entire map. The more objects that were placed (especially on a large map such as this 'RadarAttack' map designed by Syphotic | Steel Command), the larger the 'lag' would be after placement. You can see here that there is a massive frame drop and the navmesh doesnt update for almost 5 seconds. Now, there are a ton of tiny navmeshes that connect to one another, and together they cover the whole map. Now, when an object is placed, the navmesh will update instantly, because it no longer needs to parse through every object on the map (potentially thousands!!!). It only needs to parse through the objects that exist in the mini navmesh that the object was placed in (probably only 1-5 objects now!). Performance XP Boost +100! Charles Horwood You might appreciate this one :) #Rts #RTSGame #IndieGameshow more

Shane van Gisbergen had his dog Ronald as his... co-pilot on the drive to Talladega, but Ronald isn't much of a traveller. He also said they took a lap around the track this morning and Ronald took a 💩 in the infield...again. Apparently it was on the frontstretch this time.show more

But far and away the best old fashioned I... had in NYC was in a tiny tucked away lounge at Grand Central Terminal. This is The Campbell Bar, the restored 1920’s office space of John W Campbell. It took me a few switchbacks to find the entrance but it was totally worth it. I don’t know how that window made it 100 years but it is stunning to behold in person. This old fashioned ranks with some of the best I can remember and was the perfect way to warm up when I couldn’t feel my face. 🥶🥃🥰 📍The Campbell Bar, Grand Central Terminal, NYCshow more

Trump and Elon in National Treasure might be the... most chaotic treasure-hunting team America could possibly assemble. Trump finds a secret tunnel and immediately wants his name on it. Elon discovers a 200-year-old code and solves it before lunch. Three hours later they’re underneath Mount Rushmore arguing over a map nobody was supposed to know existed. Meanwhile, Nicolas Cage is chasing them down screaming, “THAT’S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS!” 😂🇺🇸 I’d watch every second.show more

A lot of us here take a tonne of... pride in our collections, but struggle to show them off (if only to ourselves). I hope this helps! You can order your works as you like, hide things, and switch between grid and gallery views. This was built by my brilliant colleague George last weekend. It’s very much a side thing and we likely won’t be able to afford putting much time towards it, but we’ll try to improve it as much as we can if people find it helpful. Have a try!show more

A 71, one under, T47th, to start my 500th... tournament on DP World Tour. I never envisaged getting this far. I was hoping for a few years as a journeyman pro but golf is a game that gives you time to put the work in and reap the benefits. It helps if you’re an optimist. #QatarMastersshow more

The horses broke out onto the race track this... morning 🐎🐎🐎 It was all caught on camera so we were able to show you a glimpse of the latest racing engine update😉 You can follow and track the horses in real time through the mini-map. They are bouncy and happy but several fixes are still required in the environment and in their behaviours, animations and gaits. We wanted to show you the progress anyway. - #HorseRacing #Web3Gaming #CardanoNFTshow more

⚡️ Greenland has been a member of NATO since... 1949 and is covered by Article Five This was stated by Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen. His meeting with Rubio and Vance has just concluded. Key statements: 📍 Greenland — for now and in the foreseeable future — will remain part of the Kingdom of Denmark. 📍 There was an opportunity, at the very least, to challenge Trump’s narrative. 📍 Claims that Chinese warships are allegedly present all around Greenland are not true. According to Danish intelligence, there have been no Chinese warships near Greenland for about a decade. 📍 Dialogue will continue. It was decided to establish a high-level working group to try to find a common way forward. “We still have fundamental disagreements, but we also agree to disagree,” the Danish foreign minister noted.show more

Blimey! This was a challenge to find. The Brewery... Tap pub in Brentford right now. It’s even in my book of Greatest pubs, but when I just came to find it I got totally confused and had to get Google maps out! The street is completely changed since I was here. None of these buildings existed when I last came. Just mentioned to the landlady and she said yes, they’re thinking of having a box of medals on the bar to anyone who manages to find the pub. I’m celebrating finding it with a glass of wine. Cheers 🥂show more

🙏🙏 A doctor broke down after losing a patient.... Some labeled it unprofessional. Thousands saw it as the purest form of humanity. Outside a hospital in Southern California, a paramedic quietly captured a moment most people never witness. An ER doctor, crouched against a wall, overwhelmed with grief after losing a 19-year-old patient. With permission, a colleague shared the image. Within hours, it spread everywhere. Minutes later, that same doctor wiped their tears and walked back in to save the next life. The photo hit hard because it revealed what is usually hidden. Doctors are taught to stay steady in chaos, but no one teaches them how to carry the weight of loss. One physician was once reported for "unprofessional conduct" simply for crying. Her supervisor told her that unless she was the one dying, tears had no place in the hospital. Another doctor put it into words: "Every patient we lose doesn't leave... it stays, like a scar that never fades." This image keeps resurfacing, again and again, because it reminds people of something important. Behind every calm face in a hospital is a human being who feels every loss. In a profession built on saving lives, the ones they couldn't save are the ones they never forget 🙏show more

Wearing this school uniform again takes me back to... the little girl I once was—full of hope, ambition, and dreams. If I could speak to her today, I would promise that one day she would return, not just to remember, but to make a difference. Every girl deserves to learn with confidence, dignity, and pride. Menstruation should never be the reason a child misses class or loses hope. Giving back is more than charity; it is a commitment to ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to rise, just as others once made it possible for me. The strongest leaders never forget where they came from. They return to lift those who are walking the same path. #SupportTheGirlChild #MenstrualDignity #WomenLeadership #MamaNairobi #GivingBack #MamaMiradishow more

We have over $250k in scheduled jobs just in... April alone A 5x increase over last April. Our biggest and most frustrating challenge by far is speed to scale. I could add another $250k with the click of a button, and I could press this button 30x over every 4 months. I could expand the service area and amplify it even more. But I can’t, because we can’t fulfill more than that without more equipment. I can’t just infinitely buy equipment either, it takes time to build up. The thought of taking on an investor has been discussed many times, but that’s another challenge, because it needs to be the right investor. Money alone isn’t the right investor. We need one that understands the industry and is well connected in it. We also have over 100 people ready to buy into a franchise model. A model that has already been built over the Winter. The possibilities are endless, but the decisions have become much more complex and more impactful.show more

Candace is so cooked Video:They identified this guy because... of his underwear in a separate case. Candace saying in the Tyler Robinson case that we don't have clear footage of Tyler Robinson. And the reason why the investigator thought it was Tyler Robinson was because he had the same clothes. Like it was unprecedented or something. Investigators routinely use clothing as 1 tool to identify, track, or link a possible suspect but it is almost never treated as unique identification by itself. Couple it with fingerprints or DNA and you got a case. Now add a confession And we already know. Tyler confessed.show more
