So it turns out, it's more than just the... name that Apple borrowed. iPhone Duo is the first folding phone I've seen copy the Surface Duo's unique multitasking and windowing system pretty much 1:1! iPhone Duo can treat each half of the folding display as separate, letting you dock an app to one side and view your home screen on the other, just like Surface Duo. The gestures for multitasking are identical between iPhone Duo and Surface Duo too. You drag an app to the side you want and it fills that half of the screen. You can pick the app up and move it to the other side, and everything will dynamically adjust. It even does the "automatic" multitasking that I've raved about on Surface Duo.
