🧃 Introducing stereOS: a Linux based operating system hardened... and purpose built for AI agents. It's clear that agents need an ACTUAL operating system (not what people are calling an "OS") to witness the full breadth and depth of their capabilities while mitigating the blast radius of autonomous, untrusted actors. But there are so many problems with AI sandboxes today: * Going out to the apple store and buying a mac mini will never scale and is way too expensive (obviously) * Running in Docker is too restrictive (agents can't stand up their own container infrastructure, no sub virtualization, docker-in-docker is very broken) * Firecracker strips all the hardware so GPU PCIe passthrough, secure boot, FIPs, etc. is out of the question. * Native VMs are too fat and the overhead of 1 agent per VM is too much. stereOS takes a different approach: it's a full NixOS system that you boot and then kick off agent sandboxes inside with gVisor + /nix/store namespace mounting. Each agent gets their own kernel and the /nix/store is read only by nature. Even if the agent was somehow able to escape the gVisor virtual kernel, they'd land on the NixOS system as the "agent" user! Not your actual hardware!! If you want to take a defense-in-depth approach, we support "native" agents that run at the system level kicked off by our `agentd` utility. These agents, on their own, can manage and kick off other sub agents using the internal sandboxing mechanisms. Today, we're open sourcing all of this: * stereOS: our purpose built Linux OS - * masterblaster: client utility to launch, manage, and orchestrate agents - * stereosd: the stereOS system control plane daemon - * agentd: the stereOS system agent management daemon - Give it a try, throw us a star, and let me know what you think 🧃⭐️show more

Here’s my analysis on NotPixel Airdrop: - Mining phase:... it was entertaining to paint on the canvas alongside with many of you! Personally, I had fun drawing 🧡 together with you, just for fun, no competition. For that I will rate it a ✅ - Earn Launchpool: personally, I think this is great that there’s such a tool, that allows holders effortlessly farm tokens. For me it’s a ✅ - Distribution: the major frustrations has been caused by the overload of the smart contract for Airdrop claim, where the biggest frustrations came from the fact that many were not able to claim their tokens for long (Including me) and watched the price go from $0,5 to $0,8 & to $0,2. Personally, I think that if Airdrop claim was done prior to the launch, it may have been better. For that, I will put a ❌ - Launch: NotPixel decided to launch its PX token only on DEX’es on TON. the price at launch actually was at $0,5-$0,8 however, it shortly went down to $0,2 , causing frustration to the community & making them question “who sold?!” & “why no CEX listings?” Here, it’s important to understand the way Sasha & his team decided that they want to build the project. As they mentioned on X “start from the basics, start from 0.” While many dislike this approach, I personally believe that this is how the launches must be happening. Launch on DEX -> generate traction & volume -> go list on CEX’es -> create more news -> grow more from new ppl joining For that I will put ✅ - Team allocation: while many have speculated that “team sold”. this is completely not true. In fact, team has locked their allocation & it can be verified on chain. Which is ✅ for me. - Future plans: NotPixel will have a big canvas on which you will be able to paint, but this time, with some NFT mechanics & PX token integration. For which it is ✅ to me. Burning: NotPixel plan with the new update also includes a mechanism for Burning, which means that PX token will be deflationary. Which is ✅ - ownership revoked: meaning that PX token supply cannot be increased. Nor any modifications could be made to the smart contract at this point. Which is a big ✅ in my opinion - Community: while many are still frustrated with the current token price on the market, many express desire for token appreciation & further growth. One of the interesting feedbacks I saw on the timeline was “NotPixel forced us all to hold”. Which shows that there are ppl who are not willing to get less than their target. Also many express that they want to see PX on CEX’es. For it to grow even more. ✅ - Holders: as with any Airdrop, many have sold their tokens on the market, the volume also came down a bit. However, what’s interesting is that while ~200k ppl sold, the token still fluctuates between the lowest point $0,13 to $0,26. Which shows that there’s a demand & ppl are accumulating more tokens. Currently PX has 205k holders. Which is a ✅ - BuyBacks: the NotPixel team recently announced the buybacks with the money raised from the NotPixel stickers sale. Which created more support for the price on the market. ✅ - Expectations vs reality: Many community members said that they were expecting price to be above $1 as minimum, many were predicting as high as $10. In reality, the price at launch turned out to be much lower than many expected. Leading to the frustration being expressed on the timeline. Which is understandable. ❌ Conclusion: - Mining phase: ✅ - Earn Launchpool: ✅ - Distribution: ❌ - Launch: ✅ - Team Allocation: ✅ - Future plans: ✅ - Burning: ✅ - Ownership revoked: ✅ - Community: ✅ - Holders: ✅ - BuyBacks: ✅ - Expectations vs reality: ❌ This is not bad execution, not many ppl will be able to pull this off in crypto. No one knows the future, but I chose to believe that Sasha & NotPixel team has a plan. Currently they are not listed on any CEX’es, but I think that Sasha & his team could easily get there. Let’s see what the future holds for us 🙌show more

Dawah is deception. Why are you leaving out the... context SeerahPro ? You know right after this he says he doesn’t remember well what he wrote in that entry on Muhaymin. Why leave that part out? He even goes on to say that section seems to be non-committal and he needs to go back and re-read it. So since you don’t want to show every one the full context, I’ll do it, and expose how you are lying now and lied in the debate. Sinai doesn’t help your claim that the Quran believes the previous scriptures were textually corrupted. He says he doesn’t think the Quran believes the previous scriptures were corrupted in the deep past and that they are unrecoverable (Clip 1). Now let’s look at the short clip you pulled in context (Clip 2). First, what he says does not affirm why you cited him to begin with, which is that the Quran is supposed to be a supreme authority and determine which parts of our scriptures are corrupt and which are not. In the very clip you pulled he says, “The Quran is claiming to be able to sort of determine the correct reading of these previous scriptures and to remedy misreading and misunderstandings.” So by arbiter he means it is not determining what parts of our scriptures are true or corrupted, it is only an arbiter in determining meaning. You just buried yourself by citing this, because you implied Sinai was saying the Quran is an arbiter for determining textual corruption, which he doesn’t say. It’s like you didn’t even pay attention to what you pulled. That is embarrassing. Second, right after this (in what you left out) the interviewer reminds him he entertained two possibilities in his book and was noncommittal. Sinai says he doesn’t remember what he said and was probably leaving open possibilities, which is what I already had to correct you on. If you go back to the book, once again, he said on page 707 essentially what I said, “Muhaymin, meanwhile, is derived from Syriac mhaymnā (or conceivably from its equivalent in some other form of Aramaic), a passive participle of the verb haymen and meaning ‘trustworthy, faithful, loyal.’” After this all he does in the book is mention other possibilities and the one you want is more contingent on non-canonical readings. But even if that interpretation is correct (which Sinai confirms in this interview is his view) it doesn’t help you, because you misunderstood what Sinai means by ‘arbiter.’ In Clip 3 he first says, “So I need to reread that entry. I guess it seems to be very non-committal.” But remember you said (Clip 4), “In his 'Key Terms of the Quran' he explicitly says that Muhaymin means the Quran is the arbiter of the contents.” That is incorrect. He did not explicitly say that. Why did you lie? In Clip 3 he goes on to say “But I think entrusted with authority can mean, authorized to sort of authoritatively interpret and determine especially theological significance.” So you don’t even understand what Sinai means by “arbiter.” He doesn’t mean what you mean, that the Quran is determining which parts of our scriptures are true and corrupted, but that it is an arbiter of meaning. The fact that you still do not see this means you are beyond delusional. You never should have cited Sinai because he doesn’t help you at all. The funny thing is we were already planning to go live tomorrow to review this interview because he doesn’t help you at all and unintentionally helps with the Islamic Dilemma.show more

PREVIEW: I was invited to a press preview of... Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced in Paris, back in April, as I previously mentioned, and I played ~3 hours🚀 Here are my impressions: 🎞️Visuals & Performance: being a remake, the visuals are quite well upgraded, making the most of modern tech and the beauty of the setting, creating a breathtaking atmosphere ✅Stunning environment ✅Dreamy natural beauty & grounded world ✅Photorealistic character models ✅Smooth animations ✅Sharp resolution ✅Runs at 60fps 🕹️Gameplay & Upgrades: The game is a faithful remake, with new gameplay systems, along with enhancements to the original formula ✅New gameplay systems ✅Faithfulness is the main priority ✅Enhanced parkour (still faithful) ✅Manual jumps and side ejects ✅Seamless exploration of cities ✅Zip-lines added ✅Dynamic weather ✅Brand new content expanding narrative ✅Quests with new secrets ✅Original modern day replace with rifts ✅Rifts explore “what if” scenarios ✅6 hours of extra gameplay ✅3 new recruitable officers ✅New storylines for the new officers ✅New chapter to play as Robert Mena ✅Extended endings for iconic characters ✅Hideout side quests ✅New collectibles ✅Forts modernized with new content ✅New voice lines for activities ✅New islands with rewarding secrets ✅New world moments ✅New content for the hideout ✅History of the villa explored ✅Heated shots new naval weapon in seq 3 ✅Explosive fire barrels w/wider effect ✅Swivel gun can now be manually aimed ✅Rebuilt combat system rewarding to skill ✅No skill trees, all unlocks from the start ✅Enemies now have defense meter ✅Meter is depleted with a perfect parry ✅New perfect parry depends on weapon ✅Heavy strike (high damage/wide area) ✅Shove to wall/ground > new take downs ✅Stealth inspired by Shadows ✅Crouch option added ✅Visibility affected by day/night & weather ✅Whistle/breaking things blow your cover ✅Rope dart unlocks in sequence 3 ✅Ambient dialogue leads to new quests ✅Raise and lower your hood option The new enhancements make the game far more entertaining compared to the original, except for one controversial change of bit having Hidden Blade combat, except in stealth assassinations/take downs Everything else effectively elevates the original design and makes gameplay either feel just as good, or more refined 🧬Changes: with this remake comes a few elements that were removed from the original, which may upset some players ✅Menus have been revamped and they don’t feature the DNA sequence tracker ✅Difficulty can be tailored with much more detail from the menu ✅Switch between and choose your favorite Sea Shanties to be performed by your crew ✅No hidden blade combat. The Hidden Blade is mainly used for stealth take-downs ✅No present day segments. I was informed that it will be replaced with new moments that explore Edward’s past with his wife, along with some “what if” scenarios like Edward siding with the Templars, for example, likely related to Juno’s involvement in the original narrative 📜Thoughts: While the demo I played featured only a portion of the map, Resynced has potential to replace the original as the definitive experience of Edward Kenway’s story I also wasn’t able to experience any of Rifts that replace the modern day, so for me, as a fan of the series’ lore and present day since 2007, the absence of a traditional modern day is the only let down that prevents me from fully replacing the original with it, as present day and sci-do elements are the DNA of the franchise and what makes it stand out It would also be great if mission replay is added later, a feature the OG had by default, like its predecessors That said, everything else very much elevated what was in the original, which made going back to replay it show how dated it feels by comparison I look forward to the final game, and to see future games inherit this formula of a defined protagonist, focused progression and no RPG elements😎show more

Once your culture is gone, it isn't coming back.... To preserve a culture, you must continually read the books and ideas that created it. That's why we started an online book club to study the greatest texts of Western Civilization. Every month, we study a new great work — so far we've covered Augustine's Confessions, Dante's Inferno, The Count of Monte Cristo, Don Quixote, etc. Currently, we're reading Virgil's Aeneid. Western Civilization has given us the greatest books ever written, but it takes effort to read them, and even more to read them well. That’s what we’re doing here, slowly, together. If you want to support our efforts, please consider a paid subscription. It makes a huge difference to the time and resources we can dedicate to this project. Paid members get: - Live community book discussions (biweekly) - Deep-dive essays to guide you through the books we’re reading - The full archive of book reviews, essays, and our 100 Great Texts reading list - Access to all community discussion threads (via the subscriber chat) - Ability to vote on what we read next This is not school. There are no grades, no credentials, and no status games. Just a community of readers serious about recovering what’s been lost, and using it to build something better. Welcome!show more

Our @Grammarly AI agents are here! Today, we’re launching... eight new AI agents designed for students and professionals. We created many of these agents with students in mind because they’re the first generation entering a job market where employers expect both subject expertise AND AI fluency. These agents help with everything from finding credible sources to predicting reader reactions. One agent we’ve gotten great feedback on is AI Grader (I wish I had this in school), which you can see in the video below. It looks at your assignment rubric and gives you suggestions like your professor would, and a grade prediction before you submit your work. And these agents are available in docs, our new AI-native writing surface! I’m deeply proud of this launch—docs is powered by Coda (Superhuman Docs) technology and is a great integration moment between Grammarly and Coda. This is just the beginning of Grammarly’s journey to offering agents that work everywhere people work and collaborate. I’ve been loving using these agents, and I’m excited for our customers to get access. Try them for yourself here and let me know what you think:show more

gm, so a bit of a look ahead for... BRAINROT COMMUNITY BUILDING > TRIALS > BURNS this weekend we launched the discord, working on the community API(CPI) for community members to start building whatever they want. Looking to launch the CPI early this week. working on the next big release which will be the agentic trials. each token gets trialled by a team of agents and receives metadata tags as a result. Trials will be replayable and viewable for every token. The metadata will serve a function when burning (more on that later) after the trials we will launch THE LAB which will be a place where you can manage your burns and modifying your remaining BRAINROTS after burns. This period right now is for building the community, and accumulating BRAINROTS. I have been talking about a few of these things in our private channels at greater depth, and will talk more about them in the near future. The plan for BRAINROT is to have the community have agency, choice and an active role in shaping the collection through burns, modifications and re-rolls. These will unlock new body types, new fashion and new accessory types and even more diversity into the collection. There will also be an option for creating legendaries which are custom designed either by me or an artist of your choice where possible. These will come at a great cost in burns though. It's been amazing seeing this community starting to grow, and if you have been on the outside looking in, don't worry, you are still very early, there is so much more to come. join us and rot your brains.show more

❗️At last ! Final TGE date is set❗️ Creating... a big-scale project without major early investment and keeping it alive through only small local community support — no VC funding — has been a real challenge. 3 years of nonstop grinding. 15 hours a day. 7 days a week. For 3 years. 🤯 We saved every dollar. The team worked for half salary or none at all. I put in all my savings. And here we are. ✅ Healthy tokenomics — no whale wallets ✅ No selling pressure from VCs, consultants, partners, airdrops — or even the team ✅ Only 6.2% of total supply has owners, all with responsible vesting The potential is HUGE🚀🚀🚀 I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built. TGE won’t be the end its head start new beginning but with steroids! Real investment is coming. And if we’ve achieved this much with so little... Just imagine what’s next. Buckle up. I came in last year, the team had finished 8th, but it wasn’t 8th of a team that was on the climb, it was 8th of a team that was heading in the opposite direction. Players were kinda getting to the age where they were ready for the next challenge, and then obviously you’ve lost the player from that team as well, so you go from 8th, declining, losing your best player, and by the way ‘we wanna change the way we play from this to the other end of the spectrum’, so all those factors I knew this process of building a squad - even the first XI - was never gonna get done in 2 transfer windows." Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough... to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Maybe only a broke system to prepare them for—nothing. This was not their doing. Now it is not your “job” to help them, it is your survival to help them if that is what you need. See some day after the dust settles these 20 year olds will be 40 year olds and running YOUR world. And at some point you may need them more than you think you do. You will need them, as they need you now. THIS IS WHAT PAST WISDOM KNEW. The elders of the past never found the need to piss on the youth and hope for the best. THE YOUTH ARE OUR BEST, let us all find ways to change it, even if every aspect of “the system” wants us to berate them into the ground.show more

Your Excellency William Samoei Ruto William Samoei Ruto, PhD... Today I want you to address the opulence of your office, not that your predecessors were any better. I must, however, give credit to Kibaki; even when he came to Msa, you hardly noticed he was around at the state house. Hangabouts were very disappointed. Mama Lucy was clear: Mzee anapumzika, may their souls rest in peace. As you relax this Sunday, think hard about the sheer waste generated by your motorcade in a country where the majority live on less than a dollar a day. While some in this convoy are not necessarily part of the OP, they are the hangabouts, including CS's and even parastatal heads who want to tag along. This is what is upsetting Kenyans and is akin to vomiting on their bare feet, not even their shoes. Your excellency, you still have time to bring this to an immediate stop, and in the process, you will help in achieving the much-sought-after austerity measures. Some would say, Wait a minute, our President must have protection. Yes, 100%, but more is not necessarily better protection. I don't think you face a higher risk than your counterpart in SA or, even worse, Rwanda, surrounded by unfriendly neighbours. Look at UK PM Entrouge. We are always at their doorstep with a begging bowl, but we are busy zooming around in top-end full-guzzlers. Your excellency You need to do things differently, and Gen Zs would love you, but you are using the same old template. Get rid of this opulence, and you'll be shocked by the budget surplus that will come your way. Think hard about this and get lean on how you run this country. Enjoy your weekend, and as always, I choose to remain an optimist.show more

Chinese Swarm Drone Systems: 48 and 96 Drones Some... time ago, I wrote about the evolution of autonomous systems and how only the Chinese were truly making progress in this field. After starting serial production of the Swarm-2, which features 48 drones and real-time tracking, they are now testing a version with 96 drones. These are divided into three categories: reconnaissance, jamming, and attack. Each drone can carry a variety of payloads, including electro-optical reconnaissance, strike munitions, and relay communications. They can be flexibly combined into different operational groupings, forming multifunctional swarms capable of complex missions. These drones have an individual range of 15 to 50 km, but the manufacturer claims that by maintaining a swarm network communication, this range is significantly extended. This strongly reinforces what we discussed a while back: that future wars will be dominated by drone systems that will severely delay any ground troop advancement, as already evidenced by the conflict in Ukraine.show more

Do you know what the smoothest OS is now?... It's not iOS18, I think it's Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT. Although I haven't come into contact with the OS myself, I was surprised to see the video released by the beta tester. 24 apps were opened continuously without any lag or delay. Even iOS may not be so perfect. someone will ask the question that has been asked countless times again: What's the point of testing like this? We don't use mobile phones like this. I will give these people a clear answer today. This is called "fluidity stress test", which is the same test logic as 3D Mark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test. Why don't you ask 3D Mark, "What's the point of testing the game 20 times like this?" Instead, you still regard this test as a very valuable test project? It is indeed valuable. So it is also very valuable to open multiple apps in a row to test the system's stress resistance, as shown in the video. You can test the phone you are using. If it can pass the test, then it must be responsive and less sluggish in daily use. If your phone cannot pass the test, then you will definitely encounter sluggishness, frame drops, and unresponsiveness when you are busy operating between multiple apps. This is the deep-rooted problem of One UI. If One UI can operate so smoothly, then Samsung will succeed. But for Samsung now, this video is a science fiction film.show more
