✨ I've brought back from the dead It was... my first visual AI project in 2022, and it's this project that generated random ArchDaily-style architecture designs that made me realize AI image models could do interior design That led me to make which then led me to finetune my first interior design model which then for fun I uploaded my own photos too, which led me to make and then pivoted that in to So this project has a special place for me It was still alive but wasn't generating new designs anymore because it ran on Stable Diffusion 1.5 which was outdated and everything stopped working about a year ago I've now migrated it to its own Hetzner VPS now, which means I can run Claude Code on the server with it, and cleaned it up and upgraded it to the latest AI image models (including Nano Banana Pro) It now generates about 12 new designs every day again, and you can up or downvote the ones you like or don't like!show more

✨ I revived my first AI startup from 6... years ago with Claude Code [ 💡 ] Back then it used GPT-3 (this was 2 years before ChatGPT existed!) to generate new startup ideas which then people can vote on And the best startup ideas rise to the top! Back then I made it because people complained they didn't have any ideas to build a startup This week I moved it to its own VPS and installed Claude Code and told it to fix everything, the DB had become big and there was stupid write operations on every page load that it made it very slow Claude Code is excellent at fixing all those small bugs from old projects and quickly fixing them As Garry Tan says "boil the oceans" as in before I'd not have the time to fix these kinds of projects, it wouldn't be worth it, I mean IdeasAI doesn't even make money, but now it takes me an hour to do this and it works again! ✨ Made a new mini feature on Photo AI:... [ Grab from 3d model ] So the problem is we're at that stage in time (typical for AI) where image-to-3d models are not good enough but are fun to play with, but we know they'll be good enough in 1-2 years With [ Make 3d model ] you already can turn any Photo AI pic into a 3d model but it still looks hyper clunky and deformed, but it works! One cool idea I had to make that more useful and made now: Let people make a 3d model then change the view of the it with the 3d viewer, then press [ o ] and it grabs a frame of the 3d That image you can then [ Remix ] (img2img), and it becomes a real photo again and that in turn you can then turn into a video again with [ Make video ] So that essentially gives you a fully freeform camera position control to take photos with One thing I need to fix is the background/skybox, I kinda need to take the original photo and remove the person and just get the background for the 3d model viewer, in this case it should be white, but it's a start!show more

I still see regular people have no clue how... we use AI to code They think it's like AI Agents and lots of hype bs But for me most of it isn't very difficult or deep or fancy but it's simply A LOT of autocompleting and prediction now Small things like this a few mins ago: Nomad List's weather API robot that pulls the weather every day to show on the site, sometimes it hits an error on the API side, and it sends that to my Telegram Then I wanna know "ok for what city is it erroring?" The moment I just put my cursor on "Bad API reply" it already knows what I want and autocompletes to "Bad API reply for city $city['name']" which will tell me for example "Bad API reply for Bangkok" Basic stuff like that saves me a lot of seconds and minutes in a day and it adds up!show more

AI It's hard to explain how impressive this is because of the speed that xAI got itself from literally nothing to the top of the leaderboards Six months ago Grok's video model was a joke, it wasn't even close to any of the video models out there, it looked cartoony and wasn't there and nobody took it seriously Now it's here and it's instantly the #1 video model out there now, it shot above Kling (which I used before on Photo AI and usually my favorite) and above Runway Gen 4.5 which was just launched 6 days ago! Mmore importantly it's now above xAI's biggest competitors' models: Google's Veo 3 and OpenAI's Sora 2 Being the best video model doesn't mean it's flawless: video is incredibly hard and actually because it looks so realistic now when it does make a mistakes it's even funnier One thing I noticed is that it still has a hard time with is voice, it does it well for a majority of the video but then slips up and produces unintelligible blabbering (which is really funny to hear) in both English (video 1: "it's where I find my naim", what's a "naim"?), and tested it in Portuguese too (video 3 at the end is unintelligible Portuguese I believe) In many ways Grok Imagine Video also reminds me of Sora, it has that weird but funny Sora conversation style But guys it's REALLY really really really close to getting perfect, we're so close to having full video productions being to be able done in AI, actually you already can if you just cut out the bad parts already Very exciting and I'm grateful I can experience thisshow more

✨ I can now generate 3d assets for my... drone sim at directly from Cursor (sponsor of #vibejam) I need buildings that you'd see in a war torn city, like warehouses in ruins, broken down abandoned houses, bombed out bridges etc. Nano Banana Pro or 2 can generate them really well and then you can put them in an image-to-3d model and you get a GLB or FBX That one you can then import into your Three.js game, the models might be big though, in my case like 16MB, so I ask it to compress it and make it more low poly so it loads fast ThreeJS then loads the individual GLBs on page load and puts them in my drone sim somewhere randomly, I think I should remove some of the grass and match the sandy color of the ruins though to make it fit in moreshow more

It was actually to see how each stone size and shape looked on her particular finger. Also, the ring people she wanted to make appointments at were over an hour away. obviously way too far I then remembered that with @windsurf , I could quickly vibe code an API wrapper app that uses an image-to-image model that can take a picture of her hand as an input, and then virtually try-on different stones on her finger. I have this idea to add a body positivity... pep talk to my podcast on Fridays I’ve struggled with my own body image, comments people have made irl and online, and in my own mind. Slowly, I’m learning that my body is my instrument to create the symphony of my life, to pursue what I’m passionate about, and to make meaning with. This is my one vessel to pursue my life’s purpose with and that is not something I should take lightly or berate. I also shouldn’t tolerate it from others. That means treating my body like a sacred place that deserve reverence for the ways in which it allows me to externalize my heart- because few things matter more than that.show more

Me and my Dad spent all day yesterday on... the 3.0D SE X5. 2x Injectors changed, one of which was truly knackered due to (I think) water ingress. Turns out the Swirl flaps had already been deleted which is nice, new gaskets on the injectors and inlet manifold too. Tried to start it as we lost light and the battery was dead 😂 Left it on charge all night, tried this morning before I left for London and it just wouldn’t start. Presumed it was air in the fuel system needing bleeding out but didn’t have time. Got home this afternoon and to say that a decent diagnostic machine pays for itself over and over again is an understatement (Kingbolen K10PRO FYI) Actuated the fuel pump for 5 minutes, then cranked the car for about 20 second where it sparked into life. The Diagnostic machine then wanted me to purge the fuel system for 10 minutes at 2,000RPM which I let it do. Turned the car off and on again and it has ran perfectly, put heating, A/C, heated seats and as much load as I could - still stayed running. It basically hasn’t done that now for a month. Took it up and down the road, got up to national speed limit, all seems fine 😳 Still have a few things do sort to get it through its MOT which is mainly bulbs and a faulty fog light - what should be fairly straight forward things 🤞 then just a cosmetic touch up 🫟🖌️show more

So much of my time here I have spend... dreaming. Dreaming for the day that has now arrived. For years I spend my days grinding to fulfill a promise made by a 25 year old right after having the biggest night of his life. Midnight夏季Breeze sold out in 30 minutes. And for someone who had less then 5000$ in the bank, suddenly making 1.5 million dollars was kind of insane. Euphoric I said "v2 will come for those who hold a breeze" Little did I know how much that single promise would affect my life. I have spend majority of my late 20s painting this world. And been very critical of what this space is about. I wanted to be a voice you could rely on. Someone that shows up, is approachable, but also be the change I'd want to see. Everyday looked the same for me, make coffee, walk dog, turn on pc, paint until dinner, walk the dog again. I sometimes quite literally went insane. The pressure was high. I had to make this project real. And there was always so much to do. Art direct, animate, color grade , composite, 3d , sound effects , music, development, management like countless hats to wear all the time. The Vision however, called me. There was no way I was gonna give up, or quit. Though every vibre in me wanted to. My health , my personal life, they demanded it. But I did not stop. And that persistence has let to today. It has let to an industry that doesn't care. A timeline that can only talk about something if its $ related. And a world that is more chaotic then ever before. And amidst it all, I fulfilled my promise. Fragments of the Lonely Road is here. And I do not think you will ever understand what it means. But, I do know, that this art. This project. This vision. It has been worth it. So now, if you made it all the way down here. I want you to rally. I want you to make noise. I want you to share with the world what this is about. No matter how many years it has been, I... still love to make Mario Moonwalk every time I reach Super Mario Bros. World 4-2. As a kid, it was part of the neighborhood collective play pattern. Like blowing in cartridges and the Contra Code, it was one of those things that was simply “known.” Michael Jackson was at the height of his popularity, and most kids knew of the Moonwalk, which became legendary after he first performed it during Billie Jean at Motown 25. A neighborhood boy showed this to me one day in the late 80s playing it on Nintendo and we all thought it was so cool. Years later it’s still habit! Though familiar to many, I realize this might be new to some. I’m probably one of the only Teslanaires out there,... if not one of the very few, still cutting my own hair. I cut my own hair again today, and it reminded me that becoming a multi-millionaire usually isn’t a random coincidence. People see the $ and think it just happened. What they usually don’t see are the small habits behind it. Of course, I could go spend $25–$50 on a haircut that probably looks better than the one I give myself. But that’s not really what matters to me. I don’t care that much about looking perfect. I care about controlling my time. I care about staying grounded. I care about keeping the kind of habits that helped me build wealth in the first place. And honestly, I enjoy doing it. I’ve been cutting my own hair for so many years that I don’t even think about going to the barber anymore. It’s just normal to me now. It saves time, keeps me frugal, and reminds me that wealth is usually built in the small choices nobody claps for. That’s the part people miss. A lot of people see wealth and assume it was luck. But a lot of the time, it’s really the result of small disciplined habits repeated for years. Not wasting $ just bc you can. Not wasting time just bc other people do. And the funny part is, one day my fleet of Tesla Bots will probably be doing it for me anyway. But until then, I’m good doing it myself. Bc to me, being wealthy was never about trying to look rich. It was about building a mindset. A mindset that values time, discipline, and freedom more than appearances.
