You always have to follow the signs God lays... out for you. Yesterday was my sentencing. I got what I prayed for… no prison, no time away from my family. Just probation. God was good to me. Thousands of you prayed for me. You flooded me with prayers, comments, texts and phone calls. I will never forget it. But now what? Today happens to be the feast day of Agios Fanourios. For generations, Orthodox Christians have asked Agios Fanourios for help revealing what is lost or hidden, not only things we have misplaced, but answers, direction and a path forward. His very name comes from faneróno: to reveal, to make known. So last night, I asked my wife baked a Fanouropita. She prayed while making it. I prayed over it. And this morning I brought it to church to be blessed. I’m not asking Agios Fanourios to help me find something I lost. I’m asking him to help me find myself again. For five years I’ve been sidelined. I haven’t worked. I haven’t built businesses. I haven’t created. I haven’t done what I’ve spent my entire life doing… building things, helping people and trying to make a difference. I wasn’t physically in prison, but in many ways I’ve lived in a mental one. Yesterday that chapter ended. So today my prayer is simple: Agie Fanourie, reveal to me what comes next. I have many paths in front of me. Many ideas. aku post di sini aja sekalian yapping..😭 my friend... literally sent me a screenshot saying i’m getting talked about by the same people who used to bully me back in SMK wkwkwk. it’s kinda funny because i never thought i’d be this confident with my own face. dulu aku sering banget dikatain “mukanya putih tapi jerawatan banget anj”, bahkan pernah dipanggil “muka batu bara” karena muka aku emang full breakout, terus "jelek, bibirnya kecil" like bro wtf.. and honestly… those words ruined my confidence. i spent almost 2 years hiding myself.. jarang foto, jarang upload apa" and always thinking people were staring at my face. but look at me now, after graduating, i slowly healed my skin, got through all those breakouts, started loving myself again and finally had the courage to be active on social media. and now they still have something to say?😭 that’s okay. because at least, this time, i’m finally living my life instead of hiding from it. i’d rather be happy being myself than spend my whole life worrying about what people think. people will always talk anyway, so let them. i’m just really proud of how far i’ve come🤍.show more
