En redes sociales se afirma que Ruben Guerrero Valadez,... alias “El R1”, fue asesinado ayer durante el caotico escenario posterior a la detencion y muerte de Mencho. El 22 de febrero de 2026, El Mencho, lider del CJNG, fue detenido en Tapalpa, Jalisco, y posteriormente abatido en un enfrentamiento cuando el ejercito intentaba trasladarlo a Ciudad de Mexico. Durante el intento del CJNG por liberar a Mencho y su violenta represalia tras su muerte, varias facciones del grupo se enfrentaron contra corporaciones de seguridad y fuerzas militares. Blogs (como BlogDelNarco) y cuentas (como Código Z 725) estan difundiendo publicaciones en redes sociales hechas ayer en las que se rinde homenaje a El R1 como si acabara de ser asesinado. No existe confirmacion oficial de su muerte y se sabe que figuras del crimen organizado han fingido su fallecimiento para bajar la presion de las autoridades en su contra. Tras revisar sus redes sociales, la mayoria de los familiares de R1 no han publicado homenajes en sus cuentas. Una presunta prima de R1, sin embargo, si compartio en sus historias de Instagram un memorial con veladoras que forman las letras “R1” (creado por la cuenta de Instagram @panter_snack9). Por ello sigue sin quedar claro si los rumores sobre su muerte son ciertos. Vale la pena recordar que rumores anteriores sobre su muerte ya resultaron falsos. El medio Contramuro difundio el 17 de noviembre de 2025 versiones que apuntaban a que El R1 habia muerto durante los narcobloqueos que impidieron la captura de Angel Chavez Ponce, alias “El Camaleon”. El R1 forma parte de la faccion del CJNG conocida como Los Guerreros y de su brazo armado, el Grupo Panteras. Es hijo de Heraclio Guerrero Martinez, alias “Tio Lako”, y primo de Adrian Alonso Guerrero Covarrubias, alias “El 08”, dos lugartenientes de alto nivel del CJNG.
