9 hours of a national power outage in Portugal... and It felt like lockdown all over again. But here are 5 things I wouldn’t have expected.👇 1/ telephone networks went down very quickly too, so there were no comms 2/ no working ATMs, so no cash 3/ major supermarkets were cash only / closed - those that stayed open killed it 4/ trains down + no phones / apps left people resorting to hitch hiking to get home 5/ only a handful of petrol stations were working so not just EVs would grind to a halt pretty quickly People began stock piling water. Cars were initially gridlocked and the police were on the streets. There was a nervous energy in the air. But there was also a kind of excitement and then a calm. People were playing on quiet streets with their kids and gathering with friends. We had a bbq and found ourselves thinking of a cards against humanity card. Is this is how it ends? Something isn’t adding up. We all know that even... before all of this, Bianca and Dustin’s inner circle also included Mika and Will. When they bought the twinning bag, we later found out that aside from Dustin, Will was there too. Same with the steak night at Mika’s condo..rumors say Will was present as well. That’s why the two statements released feels jarring. The photos were clearly taken not just by Mika, but also by Will. Yet despite calling it a trip with friends.. no photos actually support that narrative. All that surfaced were selfies and POV shots.. If those photos came from private accounts, then the people who had access would’ve been their closest friends. I find it hard to believe that someone from that circle would casually throw them under the bus like that. =What’s more striking is that neither statement expressed hurt or betrayal over a trusted friend leaking the photos. Honestly, other than DSYLM, I created the concepts for all the other songs too. For this song, I tried to be imaginative with it. 🐹: I’ve never dated anyone during my student years so I imagined a lot about what it would feel like if students were in a relationship. 🐹: It also reflects a bit of my own personality to lead to kind of childish arguments.
