Last night, Lebanese Army Intelligence carried out a security... operation inside the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut, during which they arrested Palestinian Shadi Mahmoud Mustafa al-Far, a former official in the Fatah Movement from Burj al-Barajneh camp, who had been expelled from the movement several months ago and is wanted under several judicial warrants. According to available information, Far was expelled from Fatah at the beginning of July after rebelling against the decisions of the Palestinian Authority (PA), rejecting the directives of PA President Mahmoud Abbas, and opposing the new appointments made by the PA in its embassy and Fatah offices in Lebanon. Following this rebellion, his office in the camp was raided and he was expelled from it in mid-July after refusing to hand it over, until his arrest last night inside the hotel. Reports indicate that the arrest was carried out in a highly calculated manner, as part of a series of measures by Army Intelligence to 'reinforce security' and pursue individuals wanted by the judiciary and those involved in sensitive security cases.show more

Can somebody at NYC DOT please explain to me... how this is even remotely acceptable? With the new parking lane, cars can't pull out of the way to let this ambulance pass. When every second counts in an emergency, this could literally mean death for someone in a crisis. I have heard from so many people about how this Court Street redesign was a terrible idea, and this really seals the deal. Someone could be dead because of this. Local Law 6 of 2025 - which I introduced, and was passed - mandates that local firehouses MUST be consulted before changes like this go into effect. Did the local firehouse sign off on this? Dusty Turner is a former Navy SEAL who was... wrongfully convicted of murder. He spent 30 years in prison for a crime he did not commit, which has drawn significant public attention and legal scrutiny. Dusty was a graduate of BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL) training and was assigned to SEAL Team 4 in Norfolk, Virginia. In June 1995, he was involved in a tragic incident that resulted in the death of Jennifer Evans. Dusty was initially convicted based on misleading testimony. Dusty was convicted in 1996 and sentenced to a lengthy prison term, despite being guilty only as an accessory after the fact. In 1999, his co-defendant, Billy Brown, confessed to the murder, stating that Dusty had no role in it. This confession was not revealed until 2002. Turner admitted to helping hide Evans’ body, but he consistently denied being involved in her death, which he said happened when Brown strangled her in a fit of drunken rage. In 2008, a court found Brown's recantation credible, leading to a Writ of Innocence for Dusty, declaring him "actually innocent." The Virginia Attorney General appealed this decision, and in 2010, the full Court of Appeals ruled that Dusty could still be liable under the felony murder rule, despite the lack of evidence presented during his original trial. Dusty Turner's wrongful conviction highlighted significant flaws in the justice system, particularly regarding the reliability of witness testimony and the application of the felony murder rule. His case has raised public awareness about the need for criminal justice reform and the importance of ensuring fair trials to prevent similar injustices. Dustin “Dusty” Turner was released from a Virginia facility on Thursday, March 5th. Clad in a t-shirt and khaki pants, he emerged from prison with long hair and a beard after serving 30 years for a murder he didn’t commit.show more

This is insane! In Russia, a woman has been... sentenced to 22 years in prison for helping Ukrainians. Photographer and volunteer Nadine Geisler (real name — Nadezhda Rossinskaya) was sentenced to 22 years in prison. The case is blatantly fabricated: officially — for “treason,” “financing terrorism,” and “calls against the security of the Russian Federation,” but in reality — for providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Geisler evacuated animals and refugees, founded the initiative “Army of Beauties,” helped locate missing persons, and delivered medicine to war zones. All three criminal charges are based on a single post about collecting aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces — which she says she didn’t even write. The “Army of Beauties” is a volunteer movement formed after the start of the Russian invasion. Its members collected humanitarian aid for Ukrainian civilians and evacuated them from combat zones. The trial was held in closed sessions in Belgorod. The sentence is one of the harshest handed down during the entire war. The same judge previously gave a 5-year sentence to a schoolboy for allegedly participating in a “terrorist organization.”show more

To the people asking "Where's Hunter" after Trump adviser... Peter Navarro was just sentenced to 4 months in prison for defying a Congressional subpoena, you are leaving out the following: 1) Hunter's attorneys have argued that his subpoena is legally invalid, because they were issued before the full House authorized an impeachment inquiry on December 13, 2023. This wasn't Hunter's opinions, it was a Trump-era Office of Legal Counsel opinion. 2) Hunter Biden was more than willing to testify in public and his lawyers suggested that if he is re-subpoenaed he would likely appear privately as well. 🇺🇸 The court found Ryan Root guilty of attempting... to assassinate Donald Trump on a golf course in Florida in 2024 and sentenced him to life imprisonment, according to Fox News. Root represented himself at trial. Over two weeks, the prosecution presented testimony from more than 30 witnesses. In his closing statement, Root claimed he had no intention of shooting Trump and was “not meant to kill.” He insisted he never aimed the rifle at Trump or the Secret Service agent and that his intentions were harmless. The prosecution argued that Root meticulously planned the assassination: he purchased weapons, studied Trump’s movements, and used at least three aliases and ten disposable phone numbers. After the verdict, Root tried to stab himself with a pen. Prosecutors requested life without parole, noting that Root showed no remorse. The court agreed. Root also received a seven-year sentence for one gun-related charge. It was previously reported that Root attempted to buy a missile launcher in Ukraine just weeks before his arrest.show more

“That was fun, but not as fun as tackling... people.” Preston Lobliner had these words of wisdom after his first day of kicking camp with James Wilhoit. Without any training, he was the only kid in his league last year who could kick extra points, and that was HUGE since they are worth 2 points since nobody does it. With Middle School Football upon us, we are excited to see him contribute to his team as an accurate and powerful kicker and an all out DAWG on offense and defense. This was 30 yards, and after this camp and learning how to actually kick, I expect to hit 40+ by the time the season hits. Also the best news ever for us, he is starting back in wrestling next week daily after injuring his elbow at practice the day after winning state so we will start working on that 3rd state championship! SUPER PROUD of this kid!show more

The Jordanian-born Loay Alnaji took the life of Paul... Kessler, an American-born Jew, at a Palestinian rally. Alnaji hit Kessler’s head with a megaphone so hard that he started bleeding and the force of the hit caused the victim to fall on the pavement. Kessler succumbed to his injuries a week later. Loay Alnaji’s social media was full of pro-terrorist propaganda. The California judge on the case told the defendant that if he pleads guilty, the penalty will be maxed out at 3 years of probation, and one year in local jail. The judge, in essence, offered a type of plea deal. The prosecutor opposed it. The defendant took judge up on the great offer. From the VC Star: “Defense attorney Ron Bamieh said the offer came after several meetings with [judge] Malan and recalled that the judge determined ‘two old guys had a dispute and and an accident happened.’” His sentencing will be on June 25. The Powerball jackpot has hit $1B, which means The... Lotto Store is printing like mad. Straddling the California-Nevada state line, this store sells more lottery tickets than any other store in the world. How? Because Nevada doesn’t allow lotto ticket sales (the store is about 40 miles from Las Vegas in a Nevada community called Primm; the store’s lot covers land in Nevada and California, with people buying tickets on the latter part). Nevada’s casinos — primarily in Las Vegas — argue that a state lottery would take revenue away from them that is used to employ thousands of people and pay taxes. There are only 4 other states that don’t have a state lottery: ▫️Utah and Alabama: Religious groups in the states lobbied against them. ▫️Hawaii and Alaska: No neighbouring states, so government chose to block and residents don’t have near places to go. When things like the current $1B Powerball draw take place (next one is tonight), Nevada residents flock to The Lotto Store. It’s estimated to sell 67x more tickets than the average California lotto vendor. The store has 9 self-serve machines and there’s always viral footage of customers lines snaked around the store…like this one. Set seven years after its predecessor, the story follows... the Prince as he searches for a way to stop an entity called the Dahaka that is relentlessly pursuing him as punishment for his meddling with the Sands of Time. He travels to the mysterious Island of Time, where he attempts to prevent the Empress of Time from creating the Sands in the first place, hoping this act will appease the Dahaka. Gameplay in Warrior Within builds upon that of The Sands of Time, adding new features, specifically, options in combat. The Prince has the ability to wield two weapons at a time and to steal his enemies' weapons and throw them. The Prince's repertoire of combat moves has been expanded into varying strings that allow players to attack enemies with more complexity than was possible in the previous game. Warrior Within has a darker tone than its predecessor, adding in the ability for the Prince to dispatch his enemies with various gory finishing moves. In addition to the rewind, slow-down, and speed-up powers from Sands of Time, the Prince also has a new sand power: a circular "wave" of sand that knocks down all surrounding enemies as well as damaging them. This is our low-poly take on the scene from the game. Play now on GOG COM! #princeofpersia #retrogaming #retrostyle #classicgamesshow more

The UAPs/Drones seen all over Europe and in USA... in 2024 are breakaway technology according to the Cybertruck bomber from January. The Cybertruck bomber was one of the main stories at the very beginning of the New Year, on January 1, 2025. He blew up outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. Here’s an excerpt from his alleged message about the recent drone sightings in New Jersey and New York: “What we have been seeing with ‘drones’ is the operational use of gravitic propulsion systems powered aircraft by, most recently, China in the east coast, but throughout history, the U.S. Only we and China have this capability. China has been launching them from the Atlantic from submarines for years, but this activity recently has picked up. … They are the most dangerous threat to national security that has ever existed…” He also said that governments are going to start World War III and that he needed to stop it. His message was urgent, and to attract attention he did the unthinkable—he took his own life.show more

🔥 Massive warehouse fire in Rostov raged for 24... hours — filled the city with thick black smoke It wasn’t until the morning of July 9 that firefighters fully extinguished a major warehouse blaze in Rostov-on-Don. For an entire day, the city was engulfed in dense black smoke — with residents unwillingly breathing it in. The fire was so intense that the Emergency Ministry had to deploy firefighting helicopters. Water was scooped directly from public swimming areas, where Rostov locals were cooling off at the time. The blaze broke out on Orskaya Street and quickly spread over 15,000 square meters, consuming the warehouse and an adjacent office building, according to local emergency services. Initially, the fire covered about 2,200 m², but due to the dense storage inside, it spiraled out of control within hours. What exactly was burning remains unclear. Officially, the site was used to store household appliances — but many locals are skeptical of that explanation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Authorities report no injuries.show more
