Today we fostered a 1yr old Boerbul who is... in very bad shape. He’s badly injured , malnourished, was being kept tied to a tree , tick ans flea infested and very sad guy. He could barely walk. Took him to the vet , got his wounds treated, antibiotics, frontline to kill the ticks and fleas. Please please people, do NOT take on a big breed if you can not manage their very demanding nature. They are expensive …they need to be walked. You can’t feed them sadza scraps. We are calling him Mudiki. He now joins Mukuru in the rescue family.show more

For the people travelling to high-altitude regions please understand... how dangerous altitude can be. At Shinkula Pass, around 15,000 feet, a family got stranded for hours with a 6-month-old baby who suddenly became unconscious and unresponsive. The family had no idea it was due to the lack of oxygen and the extreme altitude. Thankfully, someone aware of altitude sickness immediately gave oxygen to the child, and within seconds the baby started crying again. A few seconds of help literally saved a life. People travelling uphill must read and learn about altitude sickness. Low oxygen levels and AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) can be dangerous even for healthy adults imagine the risk for a 6-month-old child. Please avoid taking very small children to such extreme altitudes. 🌊😱 Central Texas hit by deadly flash flooding after... torrential rains Heavy rains have triggered severe flooding in Central Texas, leaving several people dead and others missing. Over 500 mature and heritage trees - banyans, tamarinds, peepals and old-growth giants are again under threat because of a fresh push to widen the road from 36 m to 45 m. These trees are not “obstacles.” They are living infrastructure. They cool our city, anchor its biodiversity, protect its micro-climate, and hold centuries of history in their roots. Mature trees cannot be “replaced” by saplings, and transplanting them has already proven to be fatal in earlier phases across Pune. The December 2023 court directions had clearly asked authorities to follow a sustainable mobility plan and avoid unnecessary tree felling. Yet the same project is being revived, risking another wave of irreversible ecological damage. Instead of widening roads for more private vehicles, Pune needs the opposite: • Better metro ridership, • Reliable bus frequency, • Safe footpaths and cycling tracks, • Efficient last-mile connectivity, • And maintainance of the existing road and flyover and Metro Line 3 infrastructure. I don't remember last time I personally played day... 1 early access game (or even full release game) without any issue for me personally. Maybe Kingdom Come. I know some people have issues with wheel but as said I'm talking about my experience atm. Compare to LMU, AC Evo, AC1, ACC I was very suprised how well everything worked for me and played like finished game instead of EA...😱 I very like where AC Rally is going and very much looking forward what they bring in the future. Before I was a soldier, I traveled frontline areas,... mostly in Donetsk Oblast, to bring food and water to civilians living under russian terror - for 2 years. Eventually I was evacuating people and animals more than I was bringing in aid. Julie (Pictured) was my friend Sergei’s dog. Sergei helped me find the animals and people in Sivers’k who needed help the most, in the areas of the city that was usually off limits. Julie was always with him as he was driving around helping the people of Sivers’k, his home town, now under constant shelling and FPV threat by the russians. On April 14th,2024 Sergei and three others were murdered by russians. Their only crime, being Ukrainian on Ukrainian soil. I found out through a telegram channel notification, “4 civilians killed in Sivers’k”. There were no names but I instantly knew he was gone. russians will call this land their own and say they are liberating these people but he was buried with a Ukrainian flag because he was a Ukrainian man in Ukraine. The biggest enemy to the Kremlin. Two weeks later I went to visit his grave and I found Елка, russian for Christmas Tree, sitting 100m meters from his grave, waiting near the entrance of his usual place of work. I brought her home and found his family but his wife and child are living in an IDP centre, their lives uprooted by war, and they can’t take her in. Now Julie is mine. A constant reminder of why I am here, why I am fighting and why no matter what propagandists will tell you about Donetsk Oblast, it’s all just Kremlin bullshit. The most common theme with these Vatniks is that they will say anything to blame anyone else but the people who are guilty of the crimes. I would like to take this opportunity to give... advance notice to both the governments of India and Greece. It seems there could be another human trafficking scandal that could get unleashed, but this time in Greece. In my job as a social commentator and an analyst, I study trends. I have been fascinated by human migration as a subject for some time. I have been following the movement of Punjabis due to recent events in Canada, and I am also ethnically Punjabi. I am sharing videos from two different days outside the Greek Embassy in Delhi. This line is not normal. There are far too many innocent Punjabis standing outside in this line. I am sharing this information so that well-meaning people in India and Greece can try to prevent what happened in Canada from happening again. My concern is for both the host nation as well as the victimised Punjabis. Before someone misunderstands me, I am not saying that Punjabis should not travel. But having seen the carnage in Canada first hand, I get extremely scared. I have investigated stories of Punjabi students committing suicide and Punjabi girls being sexually exploited. I am doing this as a concerned citizen/decent human being and warning the authorities. I have spoken with multiple people before sharing these videos, taken from the same spot, on two separate days. "Jesus was not murdered but died voluntarily for your... sins" In short, without Jesus' death on the cross for our sins, none of us would have eternal life. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" ( John 14:6 ). With this statement, Jesus explains the reason for His birth, death, and resurrection—to pave the way to heaven for sinful humanity, who could never reach it on their own. When God created Adam and Eve, they were perfect in every way and truly lived in a paradise, the Garden of Eden ( Genesis 2:15 ). God created humanity in His image, meaning that humans also had the freedom to make their own decisions and choices. Genesis 3 then describes how Adam and Eve succumbed to Satan's temptations and lies. In doing so, they disobeyed God's will by eating from the tree of knowledge, which they were forbidden: “And he [God] commanded him [Adam], ‘You may freely eat of every tree in the garden; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you must not eat of it, for when you eat of it you will surely die’” ( Genesis 2:16-17 ). This was the first sin committed by man, and as a result, all people—because of the sinful nature inherited from Adam—are subject to not only physical death but also an eternal, spiritual death. God declared that all who sin will die, both physically and spiritually. This is the fate of all humanity. But in His grace and mercy, God provided a way out of this dilemma in the form of the blood of His perfect Son shed on the cross. God declared, “Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness” ( Hebrews 9:22 ), but through the shedding of blood, redemption is obtained. The Law of Moses ( Exodus 20:2-17 ) provided a way for people to be considered “sinless” or “righteous” in God’s sight—the offering of animals sacrificed for sin. But these sacrifices were only temporary, and were actually a foreshadowing of Christ’s perfect sacrifice, offered once for all on the cross ( Hebrews 10:10 ). This is why Jesus came and why He died: to become the ultimate and final sacrifice, the perfect offering for our sins ( Colossians 1:22 ; 1 Peter 1:19 ). Through Him, the promise of eternal life with God is made effective through faith for those who believe in Jesus “so that the promise might be given through faith in Jesus Christ to those who believe” ( Galatians 3:22) .These two words, "faith" and "trust," are essential to our salvation. Through our faith in the shed blood of Christ for our sins, we receive eternal life. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast" ( Ephesians 2:8-9 ). So let’s talk about ILÉ IYÁN NG , an... amazing local startup founded by Chef Sanni an amazing guy who poured his life’s sweat into building a local brand into a household name. His first outlet in Lekki 1 became a local destination and a must visit by many who were curious to try his pounded yam delicacies. Fast forward a year later, investors came in to help scale his brand, an error I often caution close friends to avoid. The mainland location, now called Ile Iya by whatever whatever received a bulk of the new investment with the new partners overseeing its operations. Sad to say not too long after this joint venture, Sanni almost lost his business and as it appears, the partners tried converting the brand to theirs. I have asked Sanni to fight back and any Ile-Iyan with the same likeness is no longer under Sanni’s enterprise. It’s unfair to see enterpreneurs build brands with their two hands and then suffer a need less hostile take over. Hi Nyakundi can you please expose Rubis petrol station... in Kahawa West? They completely messed up my car. On Saturday, 06/04/2024, at 8:42 PM, I fueled 3k. My car is a hybrid. Upon leaving the station, I experienced a loss of power and serious trembling. I assumed it was a minor issue and got home. The following day, Sunday, upon igniting the car, it trembled seriously, and the check engine light along with all dashboard lights turned on. I called my mechanic for diagnosis, and at this point, we realized there were random misfires. I went ahead and replaced the cylinder coils and spark plugs on Monday, 07/04/2024. However, the problem worsened. We then realized that the inverter module in the gearbox was faulty. I proceeded to purchase a new gearbox (receipts can be available upon request). After installation, the car didn't even go 300 meters before it stalled. At this point, I engaged a breakdown service, and the car was towed to the garage (Shamas Gearbox Technician at Madaraka). Another gearbox was replaced, but the same issue occurred again. At this point, the mechanic decided to sample the fuel, only to find that it was a mixture of sewage and petrol. The fuel tank was disconnected, and all the contaminated substance was drained (I have samples of this raw sewage mixed with fuel). This should create awareness for people facing similar problems. The 3k fuel has costed me more than 200k. Anyone seeing this should avoid Rubis at all costs. Here is a conversation between me and the attendant who served me. They knew the fuel had issues but they still choose to spoil people's cars. This one really hit me hard.show more
