His individual amateur titles include: Valderrama Boys Invitational Italian International U16 Championship Skania Junior Open Junior Orange Bowl Championship He grew up representing Norway and was frequently on the same national teams as Viktor Hovland. They won the 2014 Toyota Junior World Cup, a year after they finished runner-up at the European Boys Team Championship Reitan reached quarterfinals of the 2015 US Junior Amateur where Hovland was his caddie. He represented Team Europe at the 2016 Junior Ryder Cup and was one of only three visiting players to claim victory in the singles session. While still being an amateur, Reitan became the first Norwegian to qualify for the U.S. Open in 2018. Kristoffer played half a season at the University of Texas before choosing to leave and turn pro in 2018. He earned his DP World Tour card at Q-School and was the only amateur to earn status that year. June 4th, 1994 our lives forever changed. We said,... “I do!”. With those two words, we said, yes, to all the highs, the lows, and everything in between. God has blessed us with four absolutely amazing children who are now amazing adults, with their own best friends/significant others (that they’re doing life with), we have three incredible grandsons, and a beautiful granddaughter on the way. We’ve lived where we both grew up (on the East Coast), and have now been out here in San Diego for just over 11 years. We’ve gotten jobs (and lost jobs), we’ve had more times than we can count where we couldn’t make ends meet, even though both you and I were working two, and sometimes three jobs at a time, and we’ve been blessed in ways that we could’ve never dreamed of. We’ve watched both my parents pass on, and are now dealing with the overwhelmingly difficult challenge of seeing your parents struggle with their own health in ways that no one should have to go through. Through it all (even in the midst of the chaos), we’ve been blessed to be by each other‘s sides! I thank God for you every day, Jillian! I love our adventures together (the big ones where we fly to somewhere we’ve never been before, and the little ones where we hop in the car with no agenda, and just drive). I love when we find ourselves in deeper conversation, laughter, and tears of joy then ever expected, and in the moments of silence, where no words are even spoken, but when we’re together, just being where our feet are. Shifting focus to 2025, RHP Tyler Bremner (UC Santa... Barbara Baseball) is one of my favorite College arms in the class. As a freshman, Bremner split time between the bullpen and the rotation and pitched his way to a modest 5.37 ERA with an impressive strikeout-to-walk ratio of 80-to-17 across 55.1 innings. Bremner has a lean, athletic build at 6'2" and 180-lbs. He has room to fill out physically and as he does, his already-electric stuff will only tick up. Bremner has a low maintenance, under control operation with present arm speed. He attacks hitters from a high-three quarter slot and his fastball sits in the 93-96 range and tops out at 98. It has elite riding life (averaged over 21" of IVB in '23) and is most effective when located in the top-half of the zone. Between its velocity and shape, it is a 60-grade offering. He boasts two quality secondary offerings in a mid-80s changeup and low-80s slider. Bremner’s changeup is the more polished of the two, but his sweeping slider has plus potential. In 2023, Bremner’s changeup generated an impressive 48% miss rate. He has advanced feel for the offering, and he will throw it to both left and righthanded hitters. It plays well off his mid-90s fastball and flashes big time late tumbling life and some fade to the arm side. Bremner threw his slider just 12% of the time in 2023, but it has the chance to be a true out pitch in the future. It features ample late sweeping life as well as some depth, and is a real weapon especially against righthanded hitters. It has reportedly taken a step forward this fall and could be a lethal offering in 2024. Between his plus control, low effort delivery, and the chance to have three plus or better pitches, Bremner profiles as a starter professionally. Steven Kampfer has announced his retirement from professional hockey... after nine seasons in the NHL. Steven was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the fourth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft after his freshman season at the University of Michigan, and would play all four seasons for his hometown school, winning national championships in 2008 and 2010. The defenseman joined the NHLBruins via trade in March 2010, and made his NHL debut the following season on December 12, 2010. Two months later, on February 12, 2011, he scored his first NHL goal, putting a second-period shot past Tampa Bay’s Dan Ellis. Steven appeared in 38 games for Boston during the 2010-11 campaign as he and the Bruins went on to hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup on June 15, 2011. Steven played 113 regular-season games for Boston before joining the Minnesota Wild ahead of the 2012 trade deadline. He remained with the Wild franchise until 2014, signing with the New York Rangers in July before ultimately joining the Florida Panthers for the 2014-15 season. After his time in Florida and a return to New York, Steven rejoined the Bruins from 2018-21. His final professional seasons were split between the KHL and AHL, and wrapped up with Chelyabinsk this past season. Steven finishes his NHL career with 231 regular-season games played, registering 15 goals and 39 points. The intake team suspected she had puppies somewhere nearby but searches of the area came up empty. For three weeks, Maple lay in her kennel in a way the staff described as "not quite present." Ate enough to stay healthy. Accepted gentle handling. But mostly kept her head down and stayed quiet. The volunteers who worked her kennel talked about her in the break room.
