Normally, riggers try to avoid physics parameters hitting their... limits during motion to prevent a jolting feel, but this characteristic can also be used intentionally to create movements that fit a retro electronic aesthetic. I also used blendshapes to control the visible range of different effects. Overall, this effect would be much easier to achieve with keyframe animation, but animation would never stop.
