This is how I remember Charlie, and always will.... He'd lost his voice and asked me to speak for him at some California events. It was so incredible to see the effect he had on people. His smile and the light in his eyes. He was with me on day 1, and I know he's with me now. He always said he had "a heart for California" and wanted so much to see us win and turn our beautiful state around. We will, Charlie. We will.show more

This was such an elite striker goal, probably one... of his best and most unique strike from a pure biomechanics perspective. Just look at how stretched his leg was, yet he still managed to get a perfect connection and power transfer... If he's able to master that technique, so bending his non-shooting foot/ankle in a way to make the strike more direct, and replicate it more often with first- or two-touch shots, the potential is sky-high. It would give him that directness and speed in his swing that he usually seems to lack. I haven't seen him use this technique since, but it's definitely something he should master. will improve his potential ten folds.show more

There is a hotel in the southern United States... that employs a man whose official job title is Duckmaster. The position exists nowhere else in the world. Twice a day he puts on a red and gold uniform, takes the elevator up to the rooftop, and walks five ducks down to the lobby. They march across a red carpet to a marble fountain in front of the guests, then swim there until evening. The tradition started in 1933 when the hotel’s manager came back from a duck hunting trip with too much whiskey in him and dumped his live decoys in the lobby fountain as a prank. Guests loved it. A few years later, a former circus animal trainer working as a bellman at the hotel volunteered to look after the ducks and taught them to march. The hotel gave him the title of Duckmaster. He kept the job for 50 years. The ducks now live on the rooftop in a marble palace that cost the hotel $200,000 to build, with their own miniature replica of the hotel inside. The hotel’s French restaurant has refused to serve duck on the menu since 1981.show more

Cubarsi on who is the GOAT between Ronaldo and... Messi. "This question puts me on the edge because I play for Fc Barcelona. But to be honest, when I was 3 or so back home in Spain every kid wanted to be like Cristiano Ronaldo. But at La Masia we were warned to always choose Messi as the GOAT of football. Now i have the opportunity to play with both of them and I am happy about that. Cristiano treated me with respect but Messi's teammates injured me, instead of him to check up on me, he was asking the ref to send off Cucurella. So I will tell you with all the truth in me that Ronaldo is the Greatest footballer in the whole world. Reason I wanted a shirt swap with him".show more

Kylian Mbappé was asked in a recent interview how... he felt about Lionel Messi during the World Cup. “I never got the chance to go head-to-head with him on that stage, and honestly I wanted it,” Mbappé said. “I wanted that final. I wanted to line up against him and put him in his place when the whole world was watching.” He didn’t hold back: “FIFA has spent years protecting him. The system bends over backwards for him and everyone in the game knows it. He’s a fraud who’s been carried by referees and media narratives for far too long. We all knew how he rigged the 2022 World Cup. FIFA is always in his favour.” Mbappé added: “Guys like him get treated like they’re untouchable while the rest of us have to fight for every scrap of recognition. It’s a complete farce.”show more
