Now, when you open the app, you can rotate your phone and see exactly where your car is - live - with an arrow that shifts as you move. It also shows the precise distance to your car in feet, so no more wandering through parking garages like you’re in a low-budget spy movie. My initial problem with Liquid Glass was that it... was terrible for accessibility despite how beautiful it looks it certain places. There is literally only one way to solve this readability issue – make the glass frosted/opaque. And from the public backlash that Apple received it was pretty obvious that it was a matter of time before they made this change. The problem now is that when you make it opaque, it barely looks any different from iOS 18, yet it keeps eating up resources and draining your battery. 3 betas in, and I still feel like this design direction was a big mistake.show more

This project came from exploring how Al models parse data into frontend components and the development of generative interfaces. I designed and developed the structure through React components (HTML, CSS, JS) for the frontend and Node.js for the backend. This is a testament of how one could develop digital products in a less frustrating and more flexible way with the use of Al, particularly when it comes to getting the styling and functionality right.
