Sahih Muslim (Book 55, Hadith 76): The Prophet (s) said: “When you see those who shower excessive praise upon others, throw dust in their faces.” (Muslim 3002) — This was not a call for literal aggression, but a strong metaphor condemning sycophancy and flattery. 2. Sahih al-Bukhari (Book 78, Hadith 73): Narrated Abu Bakra: A man was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet (s), and another man praised him greatly. The Prophet (s) said: “Woe to you!
