At least one Ukrainian UAV impacted the Tambov Gunpowder... Plant in the city of Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast. The Tambov Gunpowder Plant specialises in the production of Pyroxylin powders and related products for both civilian and military purposes. It's a part of the Rostec state corporation and completes contracts for the Russian Ministry of Defence, as well as other customers. The Pyroxylin powders produced are used for many different types of weapons, including artillery systems of all calibers and armor piercing sub-caliber rounds for tank artillery. The plant also produces certain brands of powders which are exclusively produced there for Russia. This plant was previously attacked in November 2023 and July 2024. Since the beginning of the war, and the expansion of Russia's military-industrial complex, the plant has undergone significant expansion and modernisation, with several new facilities being constructed, while others were upgraded to help serve significantly increasing demands. As a result of the strike, one UAV impacted one of the new facilities constructed after the beginning of the war. Thank you MTN Nigeria, MTN Nigeria Support for STEALING... my data, deliberately. So my data expired on the 3rd of Feb. 2025, and I tried re-subscribing with my bank apps but it kept bouncing back. I reached out to MTN customer care multiple times and was told that their network has some issues, and they are working to fix it. Keep in mind that I could barely use the data before now due to poor network coverage. I called almost every day reminding the customer care agents that the roll-over time ends on Feb. 10th, multiple times, and was reassured that the date will be extended since the issue wasn't coming from me. During this time both their MTN app, bank transactions, and USSD codes weren't working, even they themsleves couldn't renew the sub from their own end because their system was down. Today I woke up to find out that they (MTN) have proceeded to wipe out the data balance, "409 GB" which costs over N50k. The customer care agent who anwsered my call this morning said that there's nothing he can do, I can only re-activate now. Just imagine that, a network provider that takes zero accountability, nor value customer satisfaction. Absolutely infuriating.show more

Multiple Casualties Reported in Marsabit Attack An attack took... place along the Eledimtu-Forole Road in Marsabit County just a few kilometres from the Ethiopian border late last night. A lorry carrying nine passengers was ambushed by an armed group, leading to the tragic deaths of seven people who included two minors from a local secondary school. The attackers shot at the vehicle indiscriminately, before setting it ablaze and burning some of the bodies beyond recognition. The sixth victim reportedly succumbed to bullet wounds in a nearby thicket. Among the passengers, one boy was found this morning with a fractured limb, while another person sustained burn wounds but managed to reach Forole for help. The only other survivor, a girl in Form One, miraculously escaped unhurt and fled into the night. The tragic incident was reported to Forolle Police Station by a 16-year-old survivor Talaso Wato. According to locals, the suspects behind this heinous act could be remnants of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF), hostile Borana neighbours or even Ethiopian police officers — a possibility linked to tensions over the OLF militants believed to be harboured in Kenya.
