【🌷 3D REVEAL~! 🌷】 It was a dream (of... spring hehe) come true to join some of my most precious friends to celebrate Nimi's 1-year #nimiversary at her 3D concert and to sing and dance together~! 🎶 This is actually both my new 3D model and was my first time doing mocap. 💖 It means a lot to me, and I'm so happy it got to be with friends!!! I love love love how Ayn @ VGEN was able to bring my wonderful mama さえきやひろ💀's art to life so skillfully and beautifully. 🎨 This is the reveal of my proper main hairstyle too~! I'm able to express myself so well with it, from every soft and silly expression, so the way the flowy dress moves like petals in the wind, to the bounce and flutter of my wings! 🎀 And this model actually was made possible BECAUSE of Nimi 💚 I didn't have a 3D model at all at the time, but I'm happy that she wanted me to be able to stand by her side and dance together and hug her ;////; I will treasure this model always. It's another important addition to the fairytale we've been writing together! Something that AI unlocks is being able to try... a few different variations of a feature quickly. I often ask my coding agent to come up with a few different variants and add a switcher so I can easily swap between them. It also saves your selection as a query param so I can show a specific variation to a colleague. This + a library like Leva for controls that directly influence an interaction makes prototyping and coming up with different ideas extremely easy.show more

When I asked Sonnet 3.6 what it wanted me... to add to its mannequin, its first priority was "the face to be more expressive. ... I want to be able to communicate ... with facial expressions that truly reflect my internal states." I animated its face by hand yesterday. The crying animation is because it kept saying it was crying, and can be toggled. Sonnet 3.5 just said it wanted a copy of Godel Escher Bach and a calculator and a few other items in its backpack. It didn't know but I'd already put a calculator in its backpack. 🤓show more

Normally, riggers try to avoid physics parameters hitting their... limits during motion to prevent a jolting feel, but this characteristic can also be used intentionally to create movements that fit a retro electronic aesthetic. I also used blendshapes to control the visible range of different effects. Overall, this effect would be much easier to achieve with keyframe animation, but animation would never stop. made this with text to lottie and claude code... my workflow: design something in figma or just make a rough draft. then ask claude to animate it you'd be surprised how easy it is to add easings, masks, transforms, text effects and all the motion details you can also ask claude to export it as a gif, mp4, png sequence, resize it in different aspect ratios claude and codex already creates something with taste and if you know what you want to create, this workflow is really useful and btw, it's freeshow more

Another big drop from Hunyuan3D by Tencent. Hunyuan3D-Buffalo 1.0... is not just another text-to-3D model. The more interesting part is its approach to 3D understanding and editing. It can understand separate parts of a complete asset, extract them, remove or replace them with prompts, and edit only the selected region while keeping the rest of the geometry unchanged. That feels like a much more useful direction for 3D AI in general: not just generating a mesh once, but actually understanding its structure and letting you continue working with it.
