I don't really like dogs. I am physically challenged... and can't walk properly and they bark at me for different walking. But these days I am becoming more and more fond of them because of them. It all started when their mother was pregnant and my mom used to give her milk every morning and evening. After they were born first they used to come with their mother and now their mother sees them having milk and let them have it. That's the other story but why I am liking them? Because they know my office timings. When I go to office and start my scooty they run from wherever they are and start dancing around my scooty. Then my mother gives them milk and they get to a side and I can go. In the evening they listen to my honking and run from wherever they are and again gather around my scooty trying to play with me. Sometimes I am afraid so that they don't get run over. But as usual milk comes and they get to a side and I can enter my home. Other than my family members they are also waiting for me. And I am loving it 🙂❤️show more

July 1, 2015. Eleven years ago today… I never... got to hear her cry. Our first baby, our daughter Ara was born still at 24 weeks. My wife and I got to hold her and say goodbye to the child we had hoped to say hello to and welcome into the world. My wife said she had my nose, and I said she had her eyebrows. She was beautiful. Eleven years later, I still think about her. Every July 1st, and a lot of days in between. The places we would have gone together. The daddy-daughter moments we would have shared. The father I would have gotten to be to her, alongside the two I get to raise now, her little brother and sister. Grief doesn’t really end. I think it just becomes something you carry differently as times goes on. I’ve learned that it’s okay. It doesn’t mean that I haven’t healed; it just means that I loved my little girl so much even before I got to meet her. But I do hold onto this hope that death isn’t the end of her story or ours. One day I’ll get to see her and hold her again, no more tears or goodbyes, just joy in God’s presence. Ara, I can’t wait to see you. If you’ve lost a child at any stage, in any way, I hope you feel seen. You’re not alone in still thinking about them even if the world has moved on. You’re not alone in still loving them. You’re not alone in wishing you could share moments with them, making memories together. You’re not alone in still missing a cry you never got to hear. Having one of the worst days of my life!... Leela got rushed to emergency vets last night, she started falling over then had partial paralysis on one side then both. Had CT scans today, I’ve had to collect her and drive across to another County, for a more specialised hospital. She’s got to have emergency decompression spinal surgery. I can’t stop crying. It’s got nothing to do with her operation she had Monday this is separate. Insurance company will not payout either as they say she’s used her allowance. I’ve had to pay £2300 for CT scans and now £6600 for her operation including an MRI, so the surgeon can know exactly where to cut through. I’d sell my kidney if I had to though, she’s my baby. Watching her trying to walk and dragging her legs is a memory I’m never going to get out of my head. Our dogs are our life. I’m totally in bits 😭😭 There are obvious risks with her operation and I’m terrified.show more

My daughter wanted to have lunch with me today.... On weekdays, that is almost never possible. But today was the first of January, and I promised her I would come. Sharp at 2.00 pm. At 1.30, just as I was about to leave, a 30 year old man, Mr. Mahesh (name changed), was rushed in with severe chest pain. He was having a massive heart attack. There was no choice. An emergency angioplasty followed. Over the next ninety minutes, he was given a new lease of life. His angio pics are posted below. My daughter missed her lunch with her dad on the first day of the new year. But Anya (name changed), the kindergarten going daughter of Mr. Mahesh, will now have her father with her on her birthdays, school days, and all the important moments of her life. Not all doctors are saints. But the wives and children of doctors who work in emergencies, they are the true angels. Happy new year 🎉🎉🎉show more
