Obsidian plus Vellum = a second brain that never... stops thinking. Works while you sleep. Obsidian holds everything you know. Vellum reasons across it continuously. Every idea connected. Every pattern surfaced. Every insight waiting when you wake up. The people who build this tonight will never go back to thinking alone. Read this and Bookmark it now.show more

Obsidian notes = raw material. This system = finished... output. Five workflows that process every capture into something usable. Decision support. Writing fuel. Conversation material. Action triggers. Every note connected. Every idea surfaced at the right moment. Nothing captured and forgotten. The vault that produces instead of collects. Read this and Bookmark it now.show more

THIS IS WHAT YOUR SECOND BRAIN SHOULD LOOK LIKE... most people dump notes into obsidian and call it a second brain it’s not a second brain it’s a second drawer karpathy just dropped the pattern that changes this and it’s called the llm wiki every time you add a source ai reads it, extracts key claims, updates every connected note and flags contradictions your obsidian stops being an archive and starts being alive save this and show it to someone still using notion as a second brain full breakdown in the article ↓show more

An Asian guy discovered a method to learn any... knowledge fast using AI. The key is Claude + Obsidian. Most people learn slowly: read, forget, read again, forget again. His method: use Claude to break any content into small, interconnected notes. Use Obsidian to link them, so every piece of knowledge is never isolated. Slow method: highlight books, keep going, forget after a week. Fast method: Claude breaks it into atomic notes, Obsidian links them into a network. Six months later, a new idea instantly connects to twenty things you already know. I compiled the full A–Z guide to building this second brain with Claude and Obsidian that most people have never discovered. Article belowshow more

I HAVEN’T OPENED A SINGLE BOOK THIS MONTH. CLAUDE... READ 34 OF THEM FOR ME I built a vault in Obsidian, connected Claude and added Notebooklm went to sleep woke up with flashcards, mind maps, and an AI that answers from my own notes only my friends are still highlighting pdfs manually the only thing separating us is one setup: claude + obsidian + notebooklm every idea captured. every book processed. zero knowledge lost if this is the setup you’ve been looking for - like & bookmark so you don’t lose itshow more

SOMEONE VISUALIZED THEIR SECOND BRAIN AS A COLOR CODED... CLUSTER YOU CAN ROTATE every note sized by weight, activity bleeding through in reds and oranges, months of thinking compressed into one shape you can spin around this article runs a different kind of second brain through the same idea, four agents instead of one static map, each one updating its own cluster every six hours as new notes, chats, and code sessions come in the map isn’t just a snapshot here, it keeps redrawing itself while you sleep full breakdown in the article below👇show more

A CHINESE TRADER BUILT A SECOND BRAIN IN OBSIDIAN... THAT GENERATES 3 TRADING IDEAS EVERY MORNING AT 6AM AND MADE $180,000 IN 6 MONTHS. No Bloomberg terminal. No analytics desk. No team of analysts. A Mac Mini by the wall. An iPhone in his pocket. One local Obsidian vault. Six N8N pipelines running 24/7, pulling every article he reads, every podcast he listens to, and every voice note he drops into a Telegram bot—directly into the vault. Every night, a neural network reads across 4,000 connected notes and finds the strongest connections between fresh information and old theses. Every morning at 6AM, a brief lands in his inbox: - 3 trading ideas with confidence scores - The emerging thesis of the week - Any note that contradicts an active position The system only wakes him up when a fresh note contradicts his thesis, or when an idea breaks 90% confidence. Everything else runs without him. The monthly bill: $120 in API costs. The monthly return: approximately $30,000 into the account. Traditional quant funds pay teams of 8 people to produce the same flow of insights. He pays $120 and a Mac Mini. The full system breakdown is in the article below. STOP BOOKMARKING THINGS. You will never open them again.... Be honest. When did you last read something you saved? Saving is not learning. Saving is hoarding. Opus 5.5 fixes this. It reads what you save, files it, links it, and brings it back when it MATTERS. Here's how to build it from scratch 👇show more

I genuinely don't understand why everyone isn't using this... yet Andrej Karpathy, a co-founder of OpenAI, posted a simple idea that hit 16 million views: stop using AI to write code, use it to build a second brain. You point Claude Code at a folder, drop in any source, an article, a transcript, a PDF, and Claude reads it, links it, and files it into a living wiki of everything you know. It compounds like interest, the more you feed it, the smarter it gets. Here's the whole thing: > Install Obsidian, create a vault, open it in Claude Code > Paste Karpathy's wiki idea file and tell Claude to build it > Claude makes three folders: raw for sources, wiki for its pages, a CLAUDE.md that runs it > Drop any source into raw and say "ingest this" > Ask questions across everything, forever Five minutes to set up, and you never start from a blank chat again. Full step-by-step guide with Claude and Obsidian, link below. Bookmark thisshow more

CANCEL your weekend plans. Today is July 11. Half... of 2026 is already gone. You still haven't built this. Karpathy — OpenAI co-founder, now Anthropic researcher — posted one idea that hit 21 million views: stop using AI to write code, use it to build a second brain. Not a chatbot. A knowledge base that compounds. Every source you add makes everything already inside it smarter. Three folders. One schema file. One command: "ingest this." Five minutes to set up, and you never start from a blank chat again. I turned his method into a full A–Z guide for Claude and Obsidian. find it below.show more

This sign has one job: expose who grew up... in the South... in about 5 seconds. To everyone else, it looks like someone dropped the alphabet down the stairs. But if your brain instantly translated every line without even thinking... congratulations. You probably had a granddaddy, grandma, or favorite uncle who thought this was the funniest thing on Earth and made every new visitor read it out loud. The funniest part? Once it clicks, you can never unsee it. From that moment on, your brain automatically reads gibberish with a Southern accent. Some childhood memories don't need photos... they just need a weird sign, a front porch, and somebody laughing before you even finish the first line.show more

IMAGINE YOUR NOTES APP LOOKING LIKE MISSION CONTROL this... is what a second brain becomes when you stop treating it like a folder and start treating it like a system it's called omega. every note is a star. every connection is a line. and it tracks stats most people have never seen on their own knowledge: maturity: 58%. velocity: +196%. active clusters. hotspots. top hubs. it's telling you which ideas are growing, which ones are going stale, and where your thinking is actually concentrated your regular notes app has none of this. you dump things in and hope you find them later this treats your knowledge like a living thing you can measure and grow here's the part that matters: when you can see your second brain, you actually use it the graph pulls you back. the growing clusters make you want to feed them. the stats make it a game you want to keep playing most people's notes are a graveyard nobody visits this is the version that's aliveshow more
