The situation here in northern Gaza is beyond any... imagination. For hours now, the army has been dropping flares on us, turning the night into a terrifying daytime. The danger surrounds us from every side, especially after the evacuation leaflets that demanded two million people to flee to the south. Displacement is not an easy solution; it is a journey of suffering. After three days of searching and despair, I found a safe place in the south where we can set up our tent. But the problem is that the cost of this place is very high, 1400£ just to secure the spot. I have paid 400£ to secure the reservation, and I need to complete the remaining amount to ensure a safe place for my family. Furthermore, we need 1000£ to cover the costs of transportation to get there. We will not ask for a new tent; we will take our old one that holds our memories and will be our last refuge.
