Opus 4.6 vs GPT 5.4 (High) (1/9) prompt: Build... a single-file HTML/CSS/JS (no libs) demo that uses SVG to simulate a plant growing: stem extends, leaves sprout + unfurl with springy/windy “physics”, then seamlessly loops forever. For the initial impressions I'm really impressed by GPT, for speed they both felt about the same, but gpt was still half cheaper than opus. I also much prefer the design and animation that gpt produced, physics on the leaves are super cool and it also loops pretty nicely whilst opus just fades out the plant. Still got a bunch of tests to run but this is really exciting.show more

✨Introducing YesCheff is a web app that helps you... learn, cook, and enjoy your favorite recipes through step-by-step cooking guides built from real YouTube content. You can even use your own YouTube links. A small but special project where I brought all my capabilities together, from design (brand & product) to animation, and development. This project came from exploring how Al models parse data into frontend components and the development of generative interfaces. I designed and developed the structure through React components (HTML, CSS, JS) for the frontend and Node.js for the backend. This is a testament of how one could develop digital products in a less frustrating and more flexible way with the use of Al, particularly when it comes to getting the styling and functionality right. Now which foods are you eager to learn? Check it out at #YesCheff #WebApp #AI #Design #FrontendDevelopment #ReactJS #NodeJS #ProductDesignshow more

Miu Sakamoto, singer and daughter of the late composer... Ryuichi Sakamoto shared via Instagram story 🥹 “Hearing them say, "We're heading off on tour now", it really hit me. I had just assumed that the first tour stop would be their hometown. But Seoul is their home, it's where they perform for the people closest to them. And once that's done safely, it feels more like, "Now I'm heading out into the world to go on tour." With everyone back home seeing them off, they're off to Tokyo.” Translation cr. A Closer Look at Alchemist AI v3.5🔎 In v1,... one agent handled everything. You’d enter a prompt like “make a snake game” and get a single block of code—one input, one output. v2 introduced multiple agents with specialized roles: prompt refinement, frontend, backend, and review. It brought more structure, but the process was still linear. Each step produced a single output. With v3, a single agent could handle multiple tasks. It generated HTML, CSS, JavaScript, searched for assets, and more—all in one go, while maintaining full context. Now in v3.5, we combine both models. Multiple agents work in parallel, each capable of producing multiple outputs at once. The prompt compiler adapts based on what you're building. A 3D game? It prioritizes game engines, rendering, and mechanics. A website or 2D app? It shifts focus to relevant frameworks and tools. The tool handler can call several services simultaneously, feeding context-aware data into the code generator for real-time execution. From single-output generation to parallel, adaptive workflows. In the next breakdown, we’ll dive into the architecture behind our proprietary engine in v3.5.show more

While PixelUI is literally the smoothest and the best... animated UI I've personally ever used, it has the weirdest bug ever? 😭 And yes, that's right. Only ONE bug that I've faced so far. But it's a huge one. Navigation gestures have been set as default on Pixels for years now, and I personally thought Google had completely perfected them (if they are so confident in them). But apparently not. It's not even a consistent bug. Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it just disappears entirely on its own. When you open an app and then immediately close it, the animation can break ENTIRELY. And this started happening with Android 17 on my 10a. Android 16 was perfect. It just looks so bad, and I'm not even sure how or why it happens. It's very random. Personally, I'm fine dealing with linear and non-parallel animations which PixelUI still uses (meaning that animations can't be interrupted while in progress), but this is just unacceptable imo... I often open apps accidentally, so I immediately close them and almost every single time I face this thing. Please Google, your UI already is almost entirely bug-free (wink wink iOS). How could you let this slide 💔💔show more

TRUE Seasonal games, like Path of Exile, Marathon, or... even EFT (we'll see today), are designed in a way for players to engage with the seasonal content and then move on. Between seasons/leagues, I can play a new game, say Elden Ring, or God of War: Ragnarok, enjoy the game, and look at my calendar and know that on May 29th, at 1:00 PM PST, the new PoE league drops and I will LOG IN. And, that time away (whilst playing other titles) makes the return experience that much more enriched. This might be an odd segue, BUT... I still keep seeing posts about "concurrent players abysmally low, dead game," etc. People who are posting this stuff literally have zero IQ. I know it's all rage bait and engagement farm, but, sadly, it pushes a false narrative and poisons and seeds a negative perception that spreads throughout the gaming community; whether it's with EFT, Marathon, Hunt: Showdown, Path of Exile, and other seasonal games. And, I know when these types of posts acquire mass engagement because people come into stream every day asking, "this game isn't dead yet?" Just cuz a game is off season, doesn't mean it's dead lmao. Sucks cuz I know creatives at the studios probably catch wind of these posts and I'm sure it's a bit demoralizing and stuff... Marathon is still getting heat about it's concurrent player count; trust me, if UbiSoft Singapore are still pumping out content for that AAAA game, Skull and Bones, other studios will be just fine. Marathon, Marauders, EFT, Hunt: Showdown, etc., they ain't goin nowhere. GGG didn't necessarily come up with the philosophy, but they doubled down on it; kudos to them for taking the risk, paving the way for other seasonal games. W economy reset. W wipes. W progression resets. Obviously, this isn't for everyone; casual players get left behind, but I'm a gamer, and I need a game to satiate my gaming addiction, Minecraft ain't gonna cut it for me big dog.show more

Hold up, here is the prompt: works with almost... any model. enjoy :) Role & Objective: Act as an Elite UI/UX Front-End Engineer specializing in Apple-tier micro-interactions and advanced CSS. Your task is to program a perfectly centered navigation bar in a strictly SINGLE HTML file containing all HTML, vanilla CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. No external libraries or frameworks (No Tailwind, React, etc.). Design Concept - "True Liquid Glass": CRITICAL INSTRUCTION: Do NOT generate standard, flat "glassmorphism" or basic frosted glass. I require a physically accurate "Liquid Glass" aesthetic. It must look like wet, poured clear resin, combining the high-gloss specular highlights of classic macOS Aqua with the volumetric spatial depth of modern Apple VisionOS. 1. The Liquid Glass Material & Lighting (CSS): - Deep Refraction: Use `backdrop-filter` with extreme blur (e.g., 50px) and over-saturation (200%). - Specular Highlight: Create a curved, semi-transparent white gradient on the top half using a pseudo-element (`::before`) to simulate a hard light reflection on a wet, rounded 3D surface. - Caustics & Volume: Use multi-layered inner and outer `box-shadow` properties to simulate light refracting at the bottom edge and casting a realistic ambient drop shadow. - Interactive Glare: Implement a soft radial-gradient spotlight inside the glass that dynamically tracks the user's mouse cursor (X/Y coordinates) using JavaScript and CSS variables (`mix-blend-mode: overlay`). 2. Navigation Layout & Elements: - Center the pill-shaped navigation bar perfectly in the middle of the viewport. - Include 3 main navigation items with minimalist, inline SVG stroke icons and text labels: "Home", "Call", and "List". - Add a subtle vertical divider line after the main buttons. - Next to the divider, add a Dark/Light Mode toggle button containing inline SVG Sun and Moon icons. 3. Animations & "Apple Magic": - Sliding Active Pill: Create a solid background "pill" that sits *behind* the active navigation item's text/icon. When a different item is clicked, this pill must dynamically recalculate its width and slide to the new position. - Spring Physics: The sliding transition MUST use an exact Apple-style bouncy spring easing curve (e.g., `transition: all 0.5s cubic-bezier(0.34, 1.2, 0.64, 1)`). - Tactile Feedback: Buttons and icons must physically press down slightly (`transform: scale(0.92)`) when clicked (`:active`). - Theme Switch: The Sun and Moon icons must smoothly rotate, scale, and cross-fade during the transition. 4. Background Environment (Crucial): - Glass needs light and color to refract! Create a full-viewport, smoothly animated mesh gradient background using 3 large, heavily blurred, floating color blobs. - Implement full Dark/Light mode logic using CSS variables (`:root` and `[data-theme="dark"]`). Toggling the theme must seamlessly transition the background blob colors, glass opacity, shadow intensity, and text colors. Output ONLY the pristine, production-ready code. Prioritize maximum visual fidelity and silky-smooth 60fps animations.show more

Astra (GPT-6) is here!!! I've had early access and... tested it like crazy with things like games, code, writing, browser control, presentations and general knowledge work. This is the best model I've ever used. Period. (Incredible demos below in this thread ⬇️) Here's my take on Astra: > It's insanely capable. This feels like a massive improvement, not just an incremental change. This is especially true with zero-shot prompts. > It's all about knowledge work. Slide creation, analysis, writing, and browser control. And oh my...it's so good at browser control. GPT-5.6 was already fantastic at doing things in the browser, Astra is another level and significantly faster. > We're closer than ever (arrived?) at prompt-to-playable game. And I don't just mean only playable, these are actually fun games. I bet if someone with a great eye for games used Astra, they could create a viral game within 1-2 weeks. > Astra is better at writing but not perfect. It removes much of the "AI Smell" we're all familiar with but some stink still survived. > It has a tendency to use the same design colors and look/feel as GPT-5.6 (forrest green anyone?) but it is more steerable in design than previous models. > It's highly steerable in general. A little nudge goes a long way. When I first started using Astra, almost every task I gave it would go for ~30 minutes. I wanted it to keep working. Adding more specifics to a prompt helped greatly with it's ability to work for a long time. > Astra's 3D understanding is unmatched. 3D asset creation was consistent and easy and its spacial awareness while building complex 3D worlds blew me away. I'm still getting familiar with Astra but this will now be my go-to model for any difficult work I have. Check out the demos below: 👇show more

🚨 Ben Stokes explains the difficult decision to move... on from James Anderson 🎙️ " Jimmy is undoubtedly the greatest fast bowler we've ever produced, and probably will be for a very long time. What you and he achieved in terms of longevity is just incredible. We asked Jimmy to come in. I was actually supposed to be in America, but I couldn't get my visa, so I thought, "Well, I'm in Manchester, so I'll come and do it as well." ( About Conversation) It was a tough conversation because Jimmy was still a top-class bowler. But we were looking to build a bowling attack for Australia, and we just didn't feel that Jimmy was going to be part of those plans. Rather than holding onto Jimmy and then going to Australia without him anyway, we wanted him to leave the game on terms that felt right to him. I'm sure there was resentment. I'm sure there was disappointment because it wasn't an easy thing for someone who's done so much for the game to hear. But the game moves on from people. It moved on from you, it's moved on from me, and it always will. That shouldn't take away anything he's has done for English cricketshow more

I still see regular people have no clue how... we use AI to code They think it's like AI Agents and lots of hype bs But for me most of it isn't very difficult or deep or fancy but it's simply A LOT of autocompleting and prediction now Small things like this a few mins ago: Nomad List's weather API robot that pulls the weather every day to show on the site, sometimes it hits an error on the API side, and it sends that to my Telegram Then I wanna know "ok for what city is it erroring?" The moment I just put my cursor on "Bad API reply" it already knows what I want and autocompletes to "Bad API reply for city $city['name']" which will tell me for example "Bad API reply for Bangkok" Basic stuff like that saves me a lot of seconds and minutes in a day and it adds up!show more

Following the amazing reaction to the Marble Curriculum yesterday,... we've decided to make it open source 🛰️👇 Everything a child learns in primary school. 1,590 concepts. 3,221 connections across 8 subjects, from Math and Science to Computing and Life Skills. Anchored in the US and UK curriculums, standard by standard (NGSS, Common Core, DfE). What you will find in the repo: every concept as structured JSON with its age band and the evidence a child must show to master it. Every prerequisite link marked hard or soft, with a written rationale. It's a true DAG you can compute learning paths on. Open license, you can build whatever you want with it. Now is a unique time in history to be building in education. Getting AI and kids education right is likely one of the hardest and most important problems to crack over the next decade and we need as many smart and creative minds behind it. We think a common solid basis, accessible to all and that can be built upon, is critical to move fast. That's why we're making this curriculum open source. It's not perfect but we know it's a robust basis, and we believe that sharing it openly is the fastest way to progress in this field. If you're building in education, share this around you and tell us in comments if you find this useful and if you want to contribute. We'll keep working and investing on it Marble App. Credit goes to Guillaume Boniface-Chang for building this. I just made it look pretty. Links below 👇show more

This morning I, Chesnyy the Professional Good Girl™ and... head of the Safety Committee, went to the wheelchair accessible pier at a stocked pond at a local park. Unprecedented amounts of rain have made the water level unusually high. I went on the recon mission and determined that it's definitely too deep for a power wheelchair right now. I'm pretty sure my human knew this, but just in case, I made sure she saw how far up my legs the water went. She's been known to make some bad decisions without my input.
