Self-Toss Short Hop Drill One of the best ways... to develop game-ready hands in a small space. Work ground balls at you, declared backhands, and glove-side picks with both 1-hop and 2-hop variations. Keys: 1. Start low, stay low, move low. 2. Be on time to the short hop. 3. Let your feet create the hop you want. If you’re late, you’ll get an in-between hop. Really late? A big hop. Neither is the goal. Elite defenders hunt the short hop. Simple setup. Tons of reps. Big-time transfer to the game.show more

I’ve been thinking a lot about stamina systems in... my game. A lot of players hate stamina because it limits how much they can act. At the same time, some players like it because it prevents mindless dodge and attack spam. After thinking about this for a long time, I came up with an idea. What if stamina wasn’t a resource at all? Instead, attacks and dodges build fatigue. Higher fatigue means you take more damage (and maybe deal less). You can always act. You’re never locked out of attacking or dodging because a fatigue bar is full. If you like aggressive play and feel confident managing that risk, you’re free to go all in. If you prefer a safer approach, you can manage fatigue and fight more steadily. At the end of the day, you have more freedom to decide how you want to play. This is a pretty big change, and I’d really love to hear your thoughts. Player feedback matters a lot to me!show more

Ever feel like you just need some time alone?... 🙏🙏🙏 Does socializing sometimes just feel a little exhausting? There's nothing wrong with needing some space for a while sometimes. For introverts, even people they genuinely like can eventually become tiring. Doesn't mean they are angry, antisocial, or unhappy. Sometimes they simply need some quiet time to reset. Time alone can give your mind a chance to slow down and help you come back feeling more focused and refreshed. The important thing is understanding that solitude and loneliness are not the same thing. Someone can love their family and friends, enjoy meaningful conversations, and still need some time where nobody needs anything from them. We live in a world that constantly demands attention. Messages, notifications, conversations, work, entertainment, and endless noise can make it surprisingly difficult to simply be alone with your thoughts. Sometimes the healthiest thing an introvert can do is give themselves permission to step away for a while without feeling guilty about it. When was the last time you gave yourself some real time alone?show more
