BREAKING: SpaceXAI has released a major new update for... Grok Build (v1.0.13). The update improves reliability with automatic retries and recovery from truncated responses, inference failures, oversized images and session-saving issues. It also adds smarter hooks, better Windows support, faster MCP and session startup, improved scheduled tasks and quicker compressed CLI downloads. Features • Length-truncated responses now continue automatically instead of failing the turn. • Hooks can now ask the user to confirm a tool call instead of always allowing or denying. • Hooks can now request deferral or add context shown to the model after a tool runs. • Session close now records detailed timing data for performance analysis. • Credit limit upsell now offers a Try Again button to retry the last prompt. • Pasted images now show a live pixel preview in the prompt box on iTerm2. Bug Fixes • Transient inference failures (stalls, drops, 5xx) now retry automatically instead of ending the turn. • Windows users can now correctly open ~/.grok and worktree sessions. • Session data is now more reliably saved after prompts and on power loss. • Compaction failures now show the actual error instead of a generic message. • Truncation error messages now show the right guidance instead of suggesting an unhelpful retry. • Truncated tool calls are now executed instead of failing the turn when arguments are complete. • Images larger than 2000px no longer brick sessions on many-image requests. • Wrapped hyperlinks in the pager now remain fully clickable on Windows Terminal instead of only the first line. • Recurring scheduled tasks now include a reminder to stop the monitor when work finishes. • Scheduled task IDs are now full UUID strings, preventing collisions when tasks are created in the same millisecond. Performance • Subagent spawning is faster when connections drop during bursts. • Session startup with MCP servers is now much faster when auth is already configured. • MCP server startup no longer stalls behind a fixed batch size. • CLI downloads are now compressed, making fresh installs and updates substantially faster. ANTHROPIC JUST TURNED AI AGENTS INTO GIT REPOS Anthropic... shipped "ant" - a CLI that runs every Claude API endpoint straight from your terminal. The headline isn't the terminal access. It's that you can now version-control an AI agent as YAML in Git and have CI sync it to the Claude Platform, the same way you ship code. - Every API resource is a subcommand: messages, models, files, agents, sessions - Define an agent in a YAML file, check it into your repo, and keep it in sync with one update command - Spin up a session, send it an event, then pull every event and tool call back from the same CLI - Claude Code knows how to drive ant out of the box - it shells out and reads the results with no glue code Agents just stopped being prompts you babysit and became infrastructure you deploy.show more

BREAKING: SpaceXAI has released another major new update for... Grok Build (v1.0.19) This update improves background task handling, adds transparent terminal themes, worktree support for headless sessions, and better session/dashboard controls. It also fixes UI freezes, crashes, feedback issues, clickable URLs, and makes the first prompt after login faster. Breaking Changes • Scheduled /loop tasks always run in the background; they no longer inject turns into your conversation. Features • New terminal theme option makes backgrounds transparent so the terminal's own colors show through. • MCP servers blocked by organization policy now show clear messages and are refused before any config change. • Session resume now tells the model what loops, subagents, and workflows were still running. • Dashboard now shows newly dispatched sessions immediately instead of waiting for the store. • Headless sessions (grok -p) now support the --worktree flag to run in a separate git worktree. • Dashboard now says 'Open session' instead of 'Add session' for the session picker button. • Multi-line bash commands now render with proper wrapping and highlighting when opening the block viewer. • /usage now works from the dashboard and shows account allowance when no session is active. Bug Fixes • Fixed mid-turn UI freezes when the terminal stops reading output. • Fixed crashes that occurred when the terminal pane was closed while grok was exiting. • MCP server list in minimal mode now correctly shows policy-blocked servers. • URLs that wrap across multiple lines inside quotes or lists are now fully clickable. • The welcome screen composer now grows taller when you paste multi-line text. • Enterprise policy files are no longer deleted on startup when your team login is stored at a custom GROK_AUTH_PATH. • /feedback now drops unsupported images with a notice (matching the modal) and never loses your report text on save errors. • Feedback drafts keep their paragraph breaks when updated, and the modal no longer switches tabs unexpectedly. • Turn summary lines no longer lose their spacing after background tasks finish. • Thinking blocks no longer stay expanded after switching between fullscreen and minimal modes. Performance • First prompt after login is faster when MCP servers are configured; they connect in the background. sora roadmap update: in the spirit of building this... app openly, here's what we're landing soon. first, more creation tools. character cameos are coming in the next few days: you'll be able to cameo your dog, guinea pig, favorite stuffed toy, and pretty much anything else you want. you can also create cameos of generated characters straight from your sora videos. we're expecting people to register lots of crazy new cameos with this feature. to make them easier to find, we're updating the generation UI to show the latest trending cameos in real time. we're also adding basic video editing capabilities to the app, starting with stitching together multiple clips, and we'll add very powerful new features here soon. second, we're working on making the social experience much better. we are exploring new ways to use sora with your friends (versus just a global feed) and broader community. think channels that are specific to your university, company, sports club, etc. third, quality of life. the feed has quietly gotten much better recently, and there are more improvements on the way soon (shoutout to Thomas Dimson and team!). team is hard at work continuing to reduce excessive moderation of gens (we know it's super annoying). we're also working to increase the overall performance of the app to feel snappier everywhere. finally, the android version of sora is actually coming soon. please keep giving us feedback!show more

I am completely saddened to see what has happened... to Grok Imagine with it's latest update. It's a massive downgrade in motion and it prioritizes slow motion and random zooming in that is not even prompted. Prompt adherence seems to be suffering. If you can't see the night and day difference here, I don't know what else to say. Instead of just talking, look at my comparisons. I am very vocal and honest on here, this update is bad and it needs to be fixed. Grok Imagine used to showcase some of the most realistic and fluid motion, making it outperform a lot of other AI Video generators. To see it get butchered like this is extremely disappointing. Please fix this or roll back the changes. I am not the only one complaining here, just search for "grok imagine update" and read the replies for yourself. The community is not happy. This is not the direction it should be heading in. People in the community need to learn to also be honest and speak up, step outside of your bubble for once. I trust the devs see our complaints and make changes to what was once an incredibly powerful AI video generator.show more

BREAKING: SpaceXAI has released a major new update for... Grok Build (v1.0.14) Grok v1.0.14 is a reliability and workflow update for the Grok CLI. It makes OIDC token refresh proactive, lets PostToolUse hooks send feedback back to the model after tools run, adds per-turn token and cost tracking via grok usage, and cuts Windows downloads by about 70%, with a large set of fixes that tighten sandboxing, subagent handling, hooks, and startup. Features: • OIDC token refresh is now proactive by default for better reliability. • PostToolUse hooks can now provide feedback and context to the model after tool execution. • SDK-registered PostToolUse hooks now provide model-facing feedback. • grok usage now shows persisted per-turn token and cost data. • Retry status in composer and title now shows a short reason for the retry. • Models can now declare a different identifier for each reasoning-effort level instead of always sending the same id. • Prompt suggestions now respect remote configuration and default to the current session model. • Windows CLI downloads are now ~70% smaller using the same compressed sidecars as macOS and Linux. Bug Fixes: • grok inspect now correctly shows Claude bypass locks as advisory rather than enforced. • Subagent sessions no longer leak threads or file descriptors when the parent is busy. • Cold startup no longer performs duplicate remote settings fetches. • Compaction failures due to context size now degrade input instead of retrying identically. • --sandbox strict now restricts writes to ~/.grok/sessions only. • Subagent spawning now waits longer on a busy coordinator and shows clearer retry guidance instead of "unreachable". • Failed task and todo tool calls now appear in the transcript instead of disappearing without a trace. • Composer status row no longer collapses or flashes when using double-Enter to send now. • Session close is no longer delayed by a single slow hook; each SessionEnd hook now has its own timeout. • Hook removal in the extensions modal no longer offers actions that the handler will refuse. • Interjections during a turn are now delivered atomically or not at all. • Subagent tasks no longer get incorrectly cancelled when the parent session is waiting for completion. • Workflow detail view now closes the overlay on X or outside click instead of returning to the run list. • Resuming subagents now succeeds for larger transcripts that still fit the model context with headroom. Performance: • Startup now fetches remote settings only once per boot instead of potentially twice. • First message on large repositories no longer waits on repository status scan. • Large session memory no longer blocks the agent during turn completion or subagent spawning. • Signed-in CLI starts faster by serving remote settings from a local cache on warm boots. NEWS: SpaceX says a new Starlink update means that... the internet will keep working even if trees or other obstacles partially block your home’s view of the sky. "As a Starlink terminal communicates with satellites overhead, it continuously builds a real-time obstruction map, allowing Starlink to dynamically understand its environment. With this information, it can proactively select the best and most stable connection. For dynamic obstructions, such as are encountered by mobile terminals, the system reactively switches in less than 1/10th of a second, allowing a connection to remain stable. The dynamic nature of Starlink combined with the many paths for the system to route traffic provide a high degree of resiliency in obstructed and changing environments. Additionally, to help customers get the most out of their service, the Starlink app includes a built-in tool to preview the install location and guide customers to the best placement with the fewest obstructions. After setup, the Starlink app provides a live obstruction map that shows exactly where signal blockages are occurring and how they may affect your experience, so that users can make informed decisions about optimizing their installation. Starlink also measures uptime 10 times a second from every terminal, transparently reporting any outage that is longer than 1/10th of a second in the app. For well-installed, even partially obstructed terminals, this uptime is typically at the 99.9% level."show more

The latest loophole that third-party file manager apps were... using to get access to files and folders under /Android/data and /Android/obb has been patched. As part of Android 11's Scoped Storage restrictions, apps that use the Storage Access Framework (SAF) to launch the documents picker are not supposed to be able to get access to files and folders under the /Android/data or /Android/obb directories. However, third-party file managers figured out that if they set the initial directory when launching the documents picker to either /Android/data or /Android/obb, the documents picker lets the user grant the app full access to directories. This loophole was patched in Android 13, but then another loophole was discovered that got around this. Since Android 13 only blocked apps from setting /Android/data or /Android/obb as the initial directory when launching the documents picker, it was quickly discovered that you could set the initial directory to one of the subdirectories under /Android/data or /Android/obb, thus the user could grant access to individual subdirectories one-by-one. However, this latest loophole was patched with a recent Google Play System Update. The latest version of the DocumentsUI app, the Project Mainline module that comprises the documents picker, now restricts the initial location for the ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT/_TREE intent so that apps cannot request the initial location to be one of /Android/data, /Android/sandbox, /Android/obb, or one of their subdirectories. If the DocumentsUI app (AKA 'Files' app) on your device is on version 14-10492947 (version code 340916000), then this loophole is patched.show more

BREAKING: SpaceXAI has released another major new update for... Grok Build (v1.0.22) This update is focused on smoother workflows, better safety and improved reliability. It adds stronger desktop and MCP integration, clearer file-edit previews, a redesigned dashboard and better subagent support. It also fixes problems with sessions, skills, authentication and background commands while making sessions faster to open and resume. Features Built-in agent tools now take precedence over user MCP servers when tool names collide. Desktop app tools are now available through a dedicated first-party MCP server. Remote control pickers can now group servers by device using announced device identity. edit_file diffs now show real file line numbers instead of starting at line 1. Permission prompts for file edits now auto-expand the diff row so you can see the change before approving. Sending a message to a finished subagent now continues that same subagent instead of failing. Background subagent completion messages now show the actual output instead of just a pointer to run the tool. Dashboard now shows a unified header with a location picker and an actions row for creating agents or resuming previous sessions. New grok-workspaced daemon mode lets a long-lived process expose folders to the Computer Hub, separate from the Desktop-supervised sidecar. Bug Fixes MCP connectors now correctly show when they need re-authentication, even if no tools are listed. Extensions modal shortcuts now work when the tab bar is focused, and invalid actions on headers show helpful messages. The Send now button and shortcuts now work correctly when an automatic background turn is running. Resumed sessions now show the exact text you typed for mid-turn follow-ups instead of the wrapped system message. The /skills command now updates the model with newly installed skills, even when written from another NFS client. Auto mode no longer instantly runs destructive git checkout -- commands; they now go through the model for safety. Fixed a crash that could occur when restoring pasted content after certain skill injections or rewinds. Subagents and workflows now respect the same bash timeout and auto-background settings configured for the parent session. Fixed model backend selection so an explicit chat_completions setting in config.toml is no longer overwritten by same-slug siblings. Slash command advertisements no longer spam repeatedly when your current directory is your home folder. Foreground shell commands no longer produce spurious background-task reminders or incorrect kill results. Queued follow-up buttons now appear in the order [Send now][edit][Cancel]. /compact instructions in the pager are now passed to the compaction backend. Bare /compact is unchanged. /goal, and resume after pressing Esc, now correctly starts the goal planner instead of failing with “Planning failed.” run_terminal_cmd now correctly tells the model that foreground commands are backgrounded after approximately 15 seconds instead of the 120-second timeout value. Skill announcements no longer repeat the same list of available skills multiple times in a session. Monitor events in multi-session processes now correctly wake idle sessions instead of being buffered until the next prompt. Performance Opening or resuming sessions no longer pauses the interface while reading MCP configuration files. INTRODUCTION TO THE STOCK MARKET The stock market is... a place where individuals and institutions buy and sell ownership in companies (called shares or stocks). When you buy a share, you’re essentially buying a small piece of that company and participating in its growth, profits, and risks. People invest in the stock market to grow wealth over time, earn dividends, protect against inflation, and build long-term financial security. Unlike short-term trading, investing focuses on patience, discipline, and owning quality businesses. --- INTRODUCTION TO THE NIGERIAN STOCK MARKET (NGX) The Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) is Nigeria’s official stock exchange, where publicly listed Nigerian companies trade their shares. It hosts banks, telecoms, industrial firms, consumer goods companies, oil & gas firms, and more. Through the NGX, everyday Nigerians can own parts of companies like banks, manufacturing firms, telecom operators, and other major businesses driving the economy. Returns come from: Capital appreciation (share price increases) Dividends (cash payouts from profits) The NGX is regulated, structured, and accessible to both local and foreign investors through licensed platforms. --- HOW TO GET STARTED INVESTING IN NGX (TWO SIMPLE WAYS) Today, you don’t need to walk into a stockbroking office. You can get started fully online using digital investment platforms. Below are two popular and easy options that I personally use; --- 1) GETTING STARTED WITH BAMBOO Bamboo Bamboo is a digital investment app that allows Nigerians to invest in Nigerian stocks (NGX) and foreign stocks. Steps to get started: 1. Download the Bamboo app from the App Store or Google Play. 2. Create an account with your email and phone number. 3. Complete KYC verification Input your BVN Provide personal details 4. Fund your wallet via bank transfer. 5. Search for Nigerian stocks listed on NGX and place your first buy order. 👉 Referral code: ngxinvestor Bamboo is beginner-friendly and suitable for people who want a simple interface and access to both local and global markets. When done with registration to buy stocks on Bamboo, select the " Invest " icon on the bottom part of the screen, you will see that you can invest in USD or Naira assets, click on Naira, then select NG stocks, search for the stock of your choice and buy --- 2) GETTING STARTED WITH I-INVEST i-invest I-Invest is an official platform that allows Nigerians to invest in Nigerian stocks, Commercial Papers,Mutual Funds,USD Bonds etc... Steps to get started: 1. Visit the I-Invest website or download the app on App Store or Google Play. 2. Create an account 3. Complete required KYC documentation: BVN Valid ID Bank details Proof of Address etc... 4. Fund your account. 5. Start buying NGX-listed stocks directly through the app. 👉 Referral code: 22406 I-Invest is ideal for investors who want more Investment options because you can also invest in fixed deposit notes, commercial papers,USD Bonds ,life insurance etc.. After registration to buy shares ,click on " Invest " then select " Equities " ,then search the company of your choice then select "buy equities" --- FINAL NOTES FOR BEGINNERS Start small and grow with experience. Focus on learning before chasing quick profits. Invest in businesses you understand. Think long-term, not overnight success. The most important step is starting — clarity and confidence come with time and consistency. The first video is for bamboo Bamboo The second video is for I-Invest i-invest Please if anyone has any more questions please comment and I'll try to reply, and if you can DM I'll appreciate if you guys can use my referral codesshow more

I’ve said it countless times - and I’ll say... it again. Trivium wouldn’t exist without the Gothenburg scene. In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, At The Gates These three were some of the first bands I got into after initially getting into metal. We’ve toured with In Flames 6 times now since 2005; and it’s been amazing to be able to go from a super fan, to a peer, to close friends with IF. We were so excited to be invited to In Flames’ incredible festival; then to be able to guest on my favorite In Flames song ever; to be able to watch Dark Tranquillity from right in the middle of the crowd; and to see Anders and Mikael’s touching tribute to Tomas Lindberg (another hero who I was able to meet briefly years back - and I’m happy I was able to tell him what a massive inspiration he and all his music has been to me) - and also to be able to take part in that tribute alongside Anders and Mikael. I could go on forever about how unreal last night was - but to sum it up: to be in the birthplace of a genre that helped make me who I am, and be able to share the stage with two of my icons of music - and be able to call them friends - is otherworldly. Tack så mycket Göthenburg/ In Flames/ Dark Tranquillity/ At The Gates/ Göteborg Brinner! • I also finally met Lord Ahriman properly from one of the greatest black metal bands ever: Dark Funeral! • Need some recommendations to start listening to IF DF ATG and DF? how consumer apps are making money from tiktok slideshows...... most people think app marketing means paid ads or influencer deals. the apps actually printing money right now are doing neither. they're running networks of slideshow accounts that look like normal content pages, and almost nobody notices the machine behind them. here's how it works. you follow what seems like a regular relationship advice account. the posts are relatable, sometimes rude, exactly what the algorithm feeds you. then you hit slide 5 and there's an app mentioned. every single post on that account funnels to the same app. one publisher running this playbook did $40k last month, verified by sensor tower, and that's one publisher. the part people miss: most of these accounts aren't even run by humans making content. the characters are AI. the images are AI. the "person" whose thoughts you're reading doesn't exist. viewers aren't fact-checking, they're reacting to whether the post is relatable, and AI passes that bar daily. myths keeping people out of this: "i need to make original content for my app." false. the fastest path is taking a slideshow that's already proven to convert, keeping the structure and pacing exactly, and swapping only the ad slide. the performance lives in the format, not in your creativity. "i can find my images on google." false. google image search is flooded with stock assets that read as fake instantly. pinterest is where the authentic-looking references live. and you don't post those directly, they're copyrighted, you feed them to AI as reference and generate your own singular images. "every post needs to go viral." false. accounts in this niche post variations constantly and most land under a thousand views. that's the model working. the flopped posts still collect saves and likes, and one breakout carries the month. volume across variations beats one polished post every time. "the ad slide should change with each post." false. everything around it should vary, the pain point, the images, the captions. the ad slide stays identical and polished every single time. you write that caption once, make it perfect, and lock it. consistency on the conversion slide, chaos everywhere else. what actually drives this: you can now clone a proven slideshow into a hundred variations, schedule a month of posts in advance, and have an ai agent handle the posting from your terminal. the production bottleneck is gone. the only real constraint left is picking a post that's already validated and moving before the account farms make this the default playbook for every app on the store. structural notes on what i changed: the original was a chronological tutorial, this reframes it as a reveal (the machine exists, here's how it works) with the tool mechanics compressed into the final paragraph instead of a walkthrough. the myths section absorbs the google/pinterest tip, the ad slide advice, and the volume logic, which were the three strongest insights buried in the tutorial. dropped the ui narration entirely, written format doesn't need it.show more

Monthly WINR Protocol Development Update: To begin with, the... WINR Protocol has distributed $900,000 to token holders, generated more than $500,000 in pure profit for liquidity providers on WLP, acquired more than 5,000 users, and has almost 9% of the supply burned. In the upcoming months, the WINR Protocol, which has been in production for years, will introduce a range of new products and deployments. These developments will represent the practical and technical evolution to V2 of the protocol. Here are the latest updates and further details as they progress: Progress on WINR Bonanza, Casino Hold'em, and Blackjack is nearing completion. These games are in the final stages of testing. Additional games, including a new type of crash game, have been finalized and are set to debut with the JustBet v2 launch. Take a look at the gameplay videos for a preview. These games achieve the long-term goal of providing a full-suite WINR Game Engine SDK, which can be used to build games with complex logic on-chain with modular smart contract infrastructure. For example, any grid slot game that dominates the iGaming industry could easily be developed on-chain using the WINR Bonanza SDK. - Permissionless Frontend Operator SDK Dashboard Release: March is poised to be a milestone month with the launch of the Frontend Operator SDK dashboards. These dashboards will enable any WINR Labs game to be seamlessly deployed on frontends, marking a significant advancement in protocol accessibility and integration for future games developed by independent iGaming developers. The frontend operator can deploy any game they choose through a few simple steps while utilizing 10,000 WINR per game via the WINR Game Factory smart contract. Each operator is assigned a unique smart contract address(es) for every game they deploy, allowing their revenue to be tracked independently. The deployment process includes instructions on integrating the game as a package into the operator's frontend. In subsequent phases, the games will transition through WINR Chain, streamlining user onboarding steps like wallet connection and token bridging to Arbitrum. This abstraction will make it easy for any web2/web3 platform on any chain to seamlessly integrate WINR-based games with just a few clicks. The new budget system changes how the revenue is calculated on the protocol and will see daylight with frontend operator, Solana, and Fantom deployments. This model was first tested with a lightweight version on and gave a lot of actionable feedback. Shifting from the existing bribe model, which in practice distributes almost half of the edge of the games in volume to WINR holders, the brand-new budget system checks the profitability of WLP. It distributes a larger part of the profit to game providers, frontend operators, and, most importantly, WINR holders. Any time a game's budget is in profit, a part of every loss is distributed to stakeholders. Here is an example: 1. The WINR Bonanza Game has a 10,000 budget for a frontend operator. 2. Let's assume the bet amount was $50, and Bonanza paid back $10 on that spin. That leaves $40 of pure profit. 3. This is distributed amongst 50% to WLP, 20% to frontend operators, 20% to WINR holders, and 10% to game providers. 4. To achieve this, V2 of WINR Liquidity Engine (WLP) will have a buffer for purchasing and selling, working in epochs to determine the above distribution and math. - Solana Deployment and Expansions: Solana audits are in their final phase, and frontend tests are ongoing. Solana launch will be alongside the V2 launch of @JustBetOfficial, with a chain switch available on the top bar. The VRF system WINR developed already is seeing requests from builders around the Solana ecosystem, and this will over time add an extra layer of income to the protocol. Solana's bankroll, at first, will be a lighter version of WLP but will inherit the above-mentioned budgeting system to generate income immediately upon launch. - Fantom Deployment and Expansions: Fantom's upcoming Sonic upgrade, with its 200ms finality and fast block production is a perfect chain for WINR Protocol to expand. Through the partnership with WINR Protocol will tap into a brand new user base on Fantom. The bankroll on Fantom will consist of FTM and stables. The launch is planned for late March or early April. This expansion aims to open up new markets and collaborations with fresh teams. which operates independently, will integrate a broad spectrum of WINR technologies, including WINR Account Abstraction, WINR VRF, and WINR games, marking a pivotal step in WINR Protocol’s journey of horizontal expansion. - XAI VRF Deployment Progress Update: The WINR Account Abstraction Wallet and WINR Verifiable Random Function (VRF) deployment on the XAI 🎮⛓️ is well underway, with the majority of the work completed. This step forward showcases WINR's expansion beyond gambling and trading, highlighting the protocol's adaptability and commitment to broadening decentralized services. The process to automize and permissionlessly let game developers start using WINR VRF by paying (and burning) fees in WINR will launch alongside WINR VRF deployment on XAI and expand to further chains to help DApp builders with the tooling they need. This process will work very similarly to frontend operators, where DApp builders will be able to easily deploy their VRF contract, pay the WINR fees, and enjoy the fastest random number generation transaction, as showcased on @JustBetOfficial for some time. - JustBet v2 Development Update: Set to launch in March, the last testing phase with long-time community members of JustBet V2 is underway. Boasting a completely refreshed look, JustBet v2 aims to captivate more users with its modern features, a significant upgrade from the classic JustBet designed in 2019. Expect dynamic animations and a user experience that rivals traditional web2 casinos, setting a new standard for online gambling platforms and serving once again as proof of concept for all the new WINR features and infrastructure set to launch over the coming months. As always, WINR Labs simultaneously develops protocol infrastructure and platform to best address the needs of one and only goal: horizontal expansion. Easter eggs: Upcoming Gitbook update with all the technical information of WINR V2. CEX listing. Detailed product pages on WINR web. Pyth competitions. WIP-4 and WIP-5 are ready to deploy.
