I was clicking through Astryx from Meta's docs, and... noticed it felt kind of slow to navigate. It's a docs site that should be fully static, but every route was rendering on the server on each request. We've been building a skill to migrate apps to Cache Components, so I wanted to see if it could help. I ran 𝚗𝚎𝚡𝚝-𝚌𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎-𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜-𝚊𝚍𝚘𝚙𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗, and Instant Insights showed the agent exactly what to cache. The skill completed the entire migration on its own, even though Astryx was still on Next.js 15. Now navigation is instant, up to 3x faster. Skill, PR, and performance details below ↓show more

What looks like a server boiling underwater is actually... one of the most advanced cooling technologies used in modern computing This demonstration showcases a two-phase immersion cooling system, a method increasingly explored for high-performance computing and AI infrastructure where traditional air cooling becomes less efficient. Instead of using fans to move heat away, server components are submerged in a specialized non-conductive dielectric fluid that safely surrounds the electronics without causing electrical short circuits. As processors generate heat, the liquid absorbs thermal energy and begins to boil directly at the component surface.show more

today we’re shipping gpt-6 and intelligent ui to everyone!... intelligent ui is a bet on model intelligence. we’re letting gpt-6 fill the canvas with high utility visual and interactive components. it’s a pretty big change to chatgpt! we had to craft the right tools for gpt-6 to be able to produce interfaces that are token efficient, stream in instantly, match our design language, and are expressive enough for anything you might talk to chatgpt about.show more

✨Introducing YesCheff is a web app that helps you... learn, cook, and enjoy your favorite recipes through step-by-step cooking guides built from real YouTube content. You can even use your own YouTube links. A small but special project where I brought all my capabilities together, from design (brand & product) to animation, and development. This project came from exploring how Al models parse data into frontend components and the development of generative interfaces. I designed and developed the structure through React components (HTML, CSS, JS) for the frontend and Node.js for the backend. This is a testament of how one could develop digital products in a less frustrating and more flexible way with the use of Al, particularly when it comes to getting the styling and functionality right. Now which foods are you eager to learn? Check it out at #YesCheff #WebApp #AI #Design #FrontendDevelopment #ReactJS #NodeJS #ProductDesignshow more

Deconstructing the iconic Yellow Crane Tower in 3D. 🏛️... Created entirely using Opus 5 + Seedance 2.0. AI-driven architectural breakdown in action! Prompt: Video Description:Create a 15-second, 16:9 widescreen architectural instructional video showing the step-by-step construction of the Yellow Crane Tower. The layout, structural components, leader line callouts, dimensional scales, numbering labels, and color palette must remain strictly consistent throughout. Do not add, remove, or alter the shape and quantity of any architectural components. Core Instruction:This is an architectural assembly video designed to show how the Yellow Crane Tower is constructed layer by layer. Every component must be highlighted and clearly visible individually—no simultaneous motion or cluttered group movements. Motion Style: All components translate purely along their respective vertical axes (no rotation, arc trajectories, or mesh clipping/interpenetration). Only one group of components moves at any given moment while all other components remain stationary. The active moving component maintains 100% brightness, while inactive components are dimmed to approximately 60% brightness to guide viewer focus. Once a component settles into place, it restores to full brightness. Include a brief ~0.15-second pause after each component group settles before moving to the next, establishing a clear rhythm. Timeline (Bottom-to-Top Construction Sequence): 0.0–1.5s: Hold the initial exploded/deconstructed floating state. The camera slowly rises and pushes forward slightly (angle change < 8°). Leader lines move with their corresponding components, pointing accurately to each part. 1.5–2.6s: The stone podium base lowers vertically into place, establishing the ground baseline for the building. 2.6–3.8s: Major columns (interior gold pillars and eave pillars) drop vertically into the stone plinths from above, perfectly aligned. 3.8–5.0s: Tie beams and lintels slot horizontally into the column tops, interlocking with mortise-and-tenon joints. 5.0–7.0s: Bracket sets (Dougong) assemble individually from bottom to top: bearing blocks, bracket arms, angled levers, and cap blocks lock together layer by layer. (Key sequence: slow motion to clearly showcase the intricate stacking). 7.0–8.2s: Eave rafters and flying rafters align and settle along the roof pitch, forming the deep overhang eaves. 8.2–9.4s: Board tiles and semi-cylindrical roof tiles lay down row by row from bottom to top, covering the rafters. 9.4–10.5s: Roof ridge components and the central finial drop into place. The full building structure is now complete. Leader lines and text labels fade out smoothly. 10.5–12.0s: The fully assembled Yellow Crane Tower remains stable as the camera orbits extremely slowly around it. 12.0–15.0s: All components separate vertically in the exact reverse order, returning to the precise initial exploded/deconstructed layout. The final frame composition perfectly matches the first frame to allow a seamless loop. Negative Constraints:No simultaneous component movement, random scattering, shattering, melting, rotating, or flying off-screen. No changing component counts or morphing architecture. No incorrect Dougong stacking order, tile-rafter clipping, misaligned leader lines, garbled label text, fast camera orbits/zooms, black screens, white flashes, frozen frames, fade-outs, watermarks, or platform end cards.show more

I finally landed on a memory-optimal way to render... audio waveforms in the browser. The full audio is decoded once, then chunked into 2s bins. Each bin stores peaks at 800 peaks/sec in a Uint8Array. Bins are persisted individually in IndexedDB, which keeps the data as raw Uint8 arrays and is faster to read than OPFS. Local or session storage wouldn’t work here. A 2h video ends up as ~5.76 MB cached on disk. While scrolling or zooming the timeline, I load only the visible bins and downsample them to the required resolution. Everything runs async and I never keep more than a single bin in memory at once, ~800 bytes. Rendering supports mixed resolutions in the same pass since bins arrive async. By caching a read index and sorting bins ascending, each peak lookup stays O(1). On refresh, I wipe the IndexedDB so cache size never gets out of hand.show more

React Native now has its own shadcn/ui equivalent —... introducing 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗨𝗜. If you love the flexibility of copying customisable components directly into your project (avoiding heavy, dependency-laden packages), NativeUI is designed for you. 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗨𝗜 offers beautifully crafted, accessible components tailored for React Native, following the same copy-paste philosophy as shadcn/ui. Built with 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 for fast, declarative, and flexible styling optimised for React Native. ➡️ 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 — no black-box dependencies required. ➡️ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁, supporting screen readers and keyboard navigation, and designed to align with native iOS and Android UX patterns. ➡️ 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗜 without rebuilding common elements like buttons, inputs, or sliders from scratch. ➡️ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀, but not yet integrated with Tamagui’s styling system (future support may be planned). ➡️ 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 — though you’ll need to wire it up manually using Tailwind variables, context providers, and config files. Note: The term “install” in the documentation refers to using the shadcn CLI (e.g., npx shadcn@latest add component) to fetch and copy component code into your project, not adding a package to your dependencies. NativeUI isn’t a plug-and-play library; it’s a lightweight toolbox that empowers you to shape your UI with precision and control. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: npm install a pre-built UI kit for speed, or copy/paste NativeUI components for ultimate customisation? #ReactNative #KeyboardUX #MobileDev #OpenSource #JSDev #Performance #iOSDev #KeyboardExtensions #ReactNativeKeyboard #UIUX #shadcn #nativeuishow more
