You know I’m a Tory through & through but... I do think Nigel Farage would make an excellent Prime Minister. Why? Well I absolutely ❤️ the way he talks our great nation up. He sells the UK so well. No exaggerated lies or pandering to President Trump. We are so lucky to have him. 🇬🇧show more

Ok, so we have a bit of a pickle.... In media reports, they say the pendant Charlie was wearing had to be ripped off his body as the medics tried to stop the bleeding. So, either the report is wrong (exaggerated) and that is his necklace. Or it’s an earpiece… or… hell, I don’t know. It doesn’t look like blood. 🤷 I really wish they’d give more details about this because it only leads only to speculation.show more

Went to rewatch Oversabi Aunty at the Cinema yesterday... and it felt like the first time. This movie kept everyone in the hall laughing so hard from start to finish and the ending was deeply emotional. Intriguing Plot, Cast Performance, Quality Cinematography, straight to the point, no exaggerated scenes or dialogue. TOYIN ABRAHAM AJEYEMI delivered exceptionally well as the Director & lead actor. She embodied that dramatic character like her natural self. And I love how the Igbo & Yoruba tradition was beautifully celebrated. It shows that there’s indeed unity in diversity. I’m so incredibly proud of Aunty Toyin. Oversabi Aunty is worth every penny. #OversabiAuntyshow more

GPT Image 2 + Seedance 2 = cartoon chase... scene. I wanted to see how far I could push storyboard-to-video consistency, so I created a full 15-second cat vs mouse sequence inside a completely destroyed house. The process was actually simple: - generated a 3x3 cinematic storyboard sheet in GPT Image 2 - designed every frame like a real animation pre-production sketch - added camera directions, motion cues, timing notes, and destruction progression - used Seedance 2 to animate the entire sequence into one continuous cinematic shot flow What surprised me most was how well Seedance 2.0 understood the visual continuity between frames. The flying debris, motion blur, exaggerated jumps, and camera movement felt surprisingly cohesive. . . .show more

During the 1800s and early 1900s, American newspapers frequently... published stories about the discovery of "giant skeletons" in burial mounds and archaeological sites. Later, these finds were dismissed as hoaxes, exaggerated measurements, misidentified animal bones, or sensational journalism. But the reality is that they destroyed the evidence and reclassified the findings. The remains of giant hominids found in China were also reclassified from hominids to a giant ape species known as Gigantopithecus blacki. So, remains of giant hominids were found, but they were destroyed and reclassified. Stories about giant humanoids can be found in the Bible, Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, Mesoamerica, and South America, all pointing to a very different history.show more

I made a dumb mistake with my water shader🤦🏻♂️... The wave evolution equation has two parts: a standing wave component and a traveling wave component. When I was first getting this all to work, I hard-coded constants so the waves were always traveling forward at full speed. By adding a "standing wave ratio" where I can control the ratio between the two terms, I can now achieve wave patterns that oscillate in place. The video on the left has SWR = 0 and the video on the right SWR = 0.7 (I exaggerated the waves a bit to make the difference more noticeable). Now I have to re-record all my marketing videos...😭show more

On the tube on the way home now. I... posted photos of graffiti on a tube train a week or two ago and several morons who know nothing of London, told me that it was extremely rare and I’d exaggerated it. Well, here it is again on a different tube and it’s in every carriage. All over. Makes me wonder; if they can get away with this, imagine being a lone female say, and being attacked. There’s no one there to help and tfl obviously aren’t watching any wrong doing on their tubes, so when you get on the London Underground, you’re on your own. There won’t be any help arriving.show more

So people are sharing a fake video of the... 13 year old Rajasthani rape case, instead it's a video of a minor girl from hardoi who ran away from her family on her own. And this Rajasthani 13 yr old girl being raped by 32 men is exaggerated with no proofs, the 32 men claim is family accusations, no medical evidence of assault, no DNA proof linking a rape has even occurred. Arrested 14 members are hotel staff and owners, not the assaulters. Sex work and couples going there is a common thing in those hotels, no signs of rescuing other so called trafficked girls either No signs of evidence of her showing resistance while the rickshaw driver stopped her at the hotel in the busy street, no proof that she was moved to 4 different hotels by traffickers by drugging her, all are verbal statements. She is healthy and no forensic proof backing her claims. When will media speak with logics, instead of creating drama.show more

I am not trying to be funny, but most... people did not know this was a man in this video! Once being told that it was a man, the majority of black women were still saying how beautiful his face was! Truthfully bro looks like an above above average black woman and they were agreeing talking about HIS facecard will never be declined! So if most Transgay men wear wigs, heavy make up, bbls, fake breast, and have exaggerated voices & movements to look like women, why are black women mimicking them then? Why are they doing the same things? It is sad that as a black man, we have to chose from black women, most of whom look and act just like black men pretending to be women!show more

Is there any real "due diligence" done by the... 🅰️people? All of their points seem empty, vague, and very handwavy, at least that's the feeling I get. It seems to be confirmed when it comes down to the facts, they try to apply that same vague speculatory mindset they use regarding Starlink, arriving at a conclusion that always seems to be wrong. How many guesses have been propagated as truth? How many small differences have been exaggerated so large that they become the very core of their position? Probably a lot, because the trend I see is to take a kernel of truth and cover it with heavy layers of lies and speculation. I like what ASTS is doing, but the community makes it pretty hard to know what's actually significant, and the truth is, it's pretty hard to tell until both constellations are built and delivering data to customers. The issue is that most of them likely have a huge amount of money riding on the company, so they'll take anything and go with it solely for the comfort factor.show more

(Yes i know the movement is exaggerated, its just... to show the motion, it also doeant move like jello when in vr) -Left is before, Right is after- Ok wall of text time for the nerds Literally everything is the same on both sides except the position of 1 bone (made sure that even after adjusting, the collider would still be in the same spot) The reason for this change is because she wanted to be able to clap her ass in vr, and last time i did this all i did was add a toggle for a hidden bone that moved, and its angle would trigger the sound. Which was because that with my previous position, the cheeks could never really meet in the middle when in motion unless you just pushed them together with your hands, and i wanted to just have the sound actually be triggered by them colliding with each other This is also the first time ive used endbones to help drive the movement, so now thanks to that and all my previous experimenting with squishing as well, I can now get bones to move exactly how i want them to move when in natural motion. And i know a lot of people are gonna ask me to teach them how or explain my thought process but i literally just go off feeling lmao. Like, i just kinda visualize in my head how i want the motion to look, and then i just kinda know where to put everything, so im not even sure how to even start explaining rip. I have the things that artist want where they can just make the shit in their head exactly how they envisioned it lol I have a few more ideas i want to try, so we'll see if theyre good enough to get a tweet lol Thank you for coming to my ted talkshow more

When a man attempts to recite a boastful poem... to President Ahmed Al-Shara, you can clearly see the discomfort on the President’s face — he’s visibly uneasy, trying to silence the man so he can move on. Why? In the Islamic tradition, excessive praise—especially in someone's presence—is discouraged. This principle is rooted in humility and the avoidance of arrogance, both for the one praising and the one being praised. Several authentic hadiths highlight this: 📚 Hadith References Against Excessive Praise: 1. Sahih Muslim (Book 55, Hadith 76): The Prophet (s) said: “When you see those who shower excessive praise upon others, throw dust in their faces.” (Muslim 3002) — This was not a call for literal aggression, but a strong metaphor condemning sycophancy and flattery. 2. Sahih al-Bukhari (Book 78, Hadith 73): Narrated Abu Bakra: A man was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet (s), and another man praised him greatly. The Prophet (s) said: “Woe to you! You have cut your companion’s neck,” repeating it several times. “If one of you must praise, let him say: ‘I think so-and-so is such and such,’ if he truly thinks that, and ‘Allah is his Reckoner,’ and do not ascribe purity to anyone before Allah.” (Bukhari 6061) 3. Sahih Muslim (Book 32, Hadith 3000): Narrated by Miqdad: The Prophet (s) ordered us to throw dust in the faces of those who praise people to their faces. ✅ Why is it discouraged? It may lead to arrogance or delusion in the person being praised. It often becomes insincere or exaggerated, especially in front of rulers or people of status. True worth is only known to Allah, not based on public flattery. This explains why figures like President Ahmed Al-Shara, who adopt a posture of Islamic humility, may feel discomfort when praised openly or excessively. The reaction is rooted in prophetic etiquette.show more

Baby talk vs “parentese” - what’s the difference? Often... in my replies I see parents explaining why - as a method of promoting language acquisition - they never use “baby talk.” I generally agree with this sentiment, but there are some important distinctions to be made here. If by “baby talk” you mean using cutesy nonsense words (like wa-wa for water or ba-ba for bottle) you’re on the right track. There’s no need for you to make up incorrect or overly simplified vocabulary on your child’s behalf. Use real words, even if your child isn’t quite ready to do so themself. It’s how they learn. But sometimes I see confusion between “baby talk” and what is known as “motherese” or “parentese” - which isn’t nonsensical, but simply slower and more varied in intonation. (Think of Ms. Rachel’s sing-songy voice.) And this isn’t something you need to shy away from at all. In fact, research suggests that parentese - with its prolonged vowel sounds and expressive facial expressions - can be a social hook that attracts children’s attention, encouraging them to attune not only to the language to which they are being exposed but how it is produced. Importantly, it’s complete and grammatically correct… just a little more performative than you might use elsewhere. This lovely video, shared to IG by tommypadula, is a nice example. Everything mom says is 100% correct… it’s simply exaggerated in ways that are clearly capturing her daughter’s rapt attention. Just look at the smiles and eye contact it’s attracting. This isn’t baby talk. It’s parentese. And it’s fantastic.show more

Sakuga Over The Years (December 2005) KA: Ryo-Timo (りょーちも)... Anime: Noein: To Your Other Self (ノエイン もうひとりの君へ) (episode 12) The web generation is here! Ryo-Timo is one of the first prominent figures of it showcasing the unique linework, exaggerated artwork and fluid movement of this generation pioneered by Norio Matsumoto (who also worked on this show). Nowadays I think Ryo-Timo is unfortunately not really involved with 2D animation and more involved with CG, but either way this is one of my favorite scenes from him. This show was directed by Kazuki Akane of Escaflowne fame and would go on to direct another influential web-gen series in Tetsuwan Birdy Decode. Takayuki Tanaka directed this stacked episode who I’m not all that familiar with, but he also directed arguably the best Birdy episode (season 2 episode 7) so he might’ve had ties to some of the bigger names on these episodes. And lastly, this show was at studio Satelight, but I don’t think this was necessarily indicative of the quality the studio was putting out at the time, as this team would be involved with many studios over the years (Birdy at A-1 Pictures, Naruto vs Pain at studio Pierrot, Yozakura Quartet at Tatsunoko Production, etc.).show more
