I have seen some people circulating a 2017 screenshot,... claiming that I am lying and pretending when I say that Baba was my friend and that I was like his daughter. Like in any heated political contest, many things were said in the course of political banter, something both Baba and Uhuru openly acknowledged and apologised for, including on behalf of their supporters. At the time, I was with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), and our office supported his role. I was also part of his 2022 campaign, and in 2024 he personally appointed me into his AUC campaign team. Over a period of 7 years, I had the privilege of learning directly from him. He gave me numerous opportunities, travelled with me across Africa and beyond, and allowed me to sit in high-level meetings that shaped my perspective and growth. That was Baba! A man who never judged me by my tribe or my previous political positions. He saw my potential and gave me an opportunity. He often expressed how proud he was of my work and my convictions. I’m still here because this was the hardest fan... project we’ve faced in these six months. My patience and leadership were tested like never before to the point that I almost gave up in the middle of the preparation. There were nights I whispered to myself, “This will be my last.” I felt so pressured that sometimes I just wanted to hide and run away. On top of it all, I was carrying my own personal struggles, which made every step heavier. We took risks in almost every decision we made during this project. There were times when all we could say was, “Naniniwala kami sa Cheffies.” From tickets and props to the fan project and the fanzone everything was about risk and trust. Trusting the Cheffies that they would show up. Trusting the sponsors that they were only waiting for us to open our plan. Trusting Dustin and Bianca that they would see and hear our efforts. And above all, trusting each other as admins that no matter what happens, we would not give up on this. But it wasn’t just about risks. It was about sacrifices the sleepless nights, the drained wallets, the heavy emotions, and the constant balancing act between work life and fandom life. It was about choosing to fight even when we were tired, choosing to stay even when walking away seemed easier. Every small victory mattered, and every breakdown taught us something new. Looking back at these six months, I realized it’s not only about the events, the projects, or the milestones. It’s about the people who stood by me when I thought I couldn’t go on. The people I met along the way who turned into a second family. The laughter in between the stress, the comfort in the middle of the tears, and the bonds that were built in both the best and worst days. This is why, even when I wanted to let go so many times, I stayed. Because every hardship was matched with a reminder that I was not alone. Because this fandom has become more than just support for Dustin and Bianca it has become a home where friendships are nurtured, where trust is strengthened, and where love is felt. Meet Dainampalli Praveen Kumar Praveen secured UPSC 793 rank... in the results announced yesterday. He earlier topped the Telangana Group 1 exam and is working as a DSP. There are many toppers from Telugu states but Praveen’s story is truly special. Who is Praveen? Praveen is from a small village near Eturnagaram, Mulugu district, Telangana. Praveen lost his father to illness when he was just six years old. His mother was a sanitation worker in the local municipality. She used to sweep roads, clean drainages and on her off days used to work in nearby farms. She did everything she could to get Praveen and his two siblings educated. Praveen decided to help his mother and worked as a newspaper boy and also used to go work in the fields with his mother for daily wages during vacations. But in 2013, even his mother passed. "Jesus was not murdered but died voluntarily for your... sins" In short, without Jesus' death on the cross for our sins, none of us would have eternal life. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" ( John 14:6 ). With this statement, Jesus explains the reason for His birth, death, and resurrection—to pave the way to heaven for sinful humanity, who could never reach it on their own. When God created Adam and Eve, they were perfect in every way and truly lived in a paradise, the Garden of Eden ( Genesis 2:15 ). God created humanity in His image, meaning that humans also had the freedom to make their own decisions and choices. Genesis 3 then describes how Adam and Eve succumbed to Satan's temptations and lies. In doing so, they disobeyed God's will by eating from the tree of knowledge, which they were forbidden: “And he [God] commanded him [Adam], ‘You may freely eat of every tree in the garden; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you must not eat of it, for when you eat of it you will surely die’” ( Genesis 2:16-17 ). This was the first sin committed by man, and as a result, all people—because of the sinful nature inherited from Adam—are subject to not only physical death but also an eternal, spiritual death. God declared that all who sin will die, both physically and spiritually. This is the fate of all humanity. But in His grace and mercy, God provided a way out of this dilemma in the form of the blood of His perfect Son shed on the cross. This is why Jesus came and why He died: to become the ultimate and final sacrifice, the perfect offering for our sins ( Colossians 1:22 ; 1 Peter 1:19 ).
