Today, I travelled for over 3 hours to Agona... Odoben in the Central Region to meet 5-year-old twins, Robert and Roberta. They have been abandoned by both parents and live with their grandmother, who is doing her best but simply does not have the means. They are currently not in school because of this, and even basic things like food and clothing are a struggle. I got to know about them through my friend Kelvin, and I just knew I had to show up for them. So today, we went to see them and began the process of enrolling them in school. We have made arrangements for their uniforms and learning materials to enable them to start school this month. It really does take one moment, and people choosing to care, to change the entire course of a child’s life for good.
