🇩🇪 Election fakes — again Another local election is... coming up in Germany and the same idiotic election-fraud videos are popping up. Here is how election fraud actually works, and why such videos are fake. 1) Logic? Why would a poll worker strap a GoPro to his forehead and film a criminal act? The ballot is from Spandau in Berlin, which would land him in jail because he is easy to find. Filming it would also invalidate the vote, so it would be redone. That guarantees jail time and invalidates the vote. It makes no sense. 2) No one opens ballot boxes alone. There are always many people and election observers. Even if observers were in cahoots, what generally hard to achieve, because all parties send their own to protect integrity, they would not cut ballots dramatically on camera. Why do that? Why publish it? 3) The more people a conspiracy involves, the lower its chance of success. Removing ballots at a polling station, with many people present and all parties sending observers, is basically impossible. Even if it worked, someone would almost certainly become a whistleblower. No one will risk that. That is not how it is done. 4) How to do election fraud correctly? The best way to interfere is to get more ballots in your favor to the polling stations. Observers and workers then fight over counting them correctly, but the extra ballots are already in and give you the advantage. There is drama over recounts, but nothing is ever proven because the actual count is nearly impossible to fake and recounts happen. The fake extra ballots are already inside! 5) Minimal-involvement fraud The simplest trick is letting people send in more ballots than they are allowed. People driving to a mailbox and sending 50 ballots instead of one is the best option: the later count will be contested and you will win. 6) No responsibility If thousands of people submit multiple ballots and a few are caught, it is never tied to an official party effort. It is always “some guy acting on his own,” or he claims he collected ballots from several elderly people. It is impossible to prove otherwise. 7) Motivational trick You can also push people into fraud. Gaslight them hard enough that this is the most important election of their lives and literal Nazis are winning, and many will do whatever it takes. Some groups will organize themselves to collect ballots for others (as seen in elderly homes) and mail them, or even fish “wrongly cast” ballots out of mailboxes. Whatever goes will be done. Day 1 Raiding - I want to start by... prefacing this is a selfish post on my WFR experience, where I cover a few topics in no particular order. If you don’t care about that then don’t interact. (1) This race proved how important it was to have multiple characters prepared for the WFR, and frankly there was just so much to do and test in such a little amount of time. In my opinion less then a week between a DLC launch and a WFR should never happen again in the future, if this is how the racing meta is going to continue. (2) This WFR was my least favourite competitive experience i’ve had in any video game. My team went from pioneering the final boss (on stream) to being soft locked on it for hours before WF was achieved, completely ending any chance we had to win. When you realise that the environmental glitch we were experiencing that caused us to soft lock happened to no other team and transferred between our instances, it makes me question why I spend so much time prepping for such an uncompetitive game. I personally have an all or nothing attitude when it comes to racing in this game and I could care less about a placement other then worlds first. Knowing that this chance of WF was ripped away from us is heartbreaking and makes me wonder why I donate so much time to competing in a game riddled with bugs and glitches. Sadly, IF Bungie ends up acknowledging this all they can really say is We’re Listening due to the nature of raid racing so I hope if anything this can just show how important stuff like this is and how upsetting it is to experience. The video attached to this tweet is showing the environment glitch happening pull after pull, all before worlds first. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. (3) On another note, It was good to see less teams blacking their screens out, and I had a mostly positive experience doing this which i went over in another tweet yesterday. However I still think bungie needs to enforce some ruling in order for races to balance viewer experience and competition well. (4) Since i started doing WFR’s in RoN my personal experience day 1 raiding has been pretty awful behind the scenes. I think this is important to address because it shows how uninviting the WFR community is. I’ve always stayed in my own lane and tried my best not to get involved in community drama, but myself and my team seem to always get witch-hunt by other teams which is really sad to think that this is a consistent experience i’ve had since i started competing. (5) Lastly, I want to congratulate my passion boys for their win and note that this tweet isn’t to devalue their win, but to highlight some issues with this WFR and Day 1 raiding in general. INDIGOS ARE NOT HERE TO ASCEND A reminder to... all Guardian Alliance warriors: you aren't here to 'qualify' for the next dimension. Many of us don't choose to have a physical avatar at all anymore, because after a certain number of manifest journeys, there really isn't much to gain from all that anymore. You are eternal and have been at this game for a very, very long time. You can choose to just 'be' Prime Creator and observe, or even assist those in the game if you wish. No one forces you into a mortal, fragile body if you don't want to. You are a tactical, front-lines mil unit that enters battlefields like Navy Seals, or Airborne Rangers. In their case, they have very sparse tools to help breach enemy lines and can be considered an army of 1. Only the bravest men on earth would ever consider that role. In your case, only the bravest warriors across the cosmeias would ever attempt your mission. Because unlike armed soldiers in battle gear, you arrive on the field as an infant, naked, mind-wiped and abandoned. On the other side of enemy lines. Your role is not for everyone. Your job is to retrieve the POWs so they can resume their ascension journey that was arrested when they were all taken hostage 560m years ago. None of them should have been here in the 3rd dimension longer than about 2 1/2 years, and all of them should have mastered out of the Gaia time matrix after no longer than 33 years in total. That is their journey, not yours. Once your mission is over, you don't go to the next level, you simply leave. Or stay if you choose. But you don't have to qualify for anything, as long as you fulfill your contract by doing what you said you would do; free the hostages. Even if you already embody 7th dimensional awareness, you're not going to disappear from this level like the prisoners are once their cells resonate with the next dimension. I was told on no uncertain terms in 2018 at the safe house speaking to the keeper 'Many have already left. The ascension window is wide open, all they have to do is reach the next level of awareness', going on to say 'they simply vanish from this plane as if they were never here'. The keeper explained those who remain have the entire database of their loved one or someone they know who resonated with the next level, erased from their memory to avoid panic in a 'left behind' scenario. So there is no way we (the foot soldiers) have of keeping track of how many have already ascended. But the top levels of this conflict do. You will not be vanishing this way. THE ALPHAS Wolf packs have an alpha leader that protects the whole group from attacks. The old, weak, infirmed & the very young pups. But the amazing thing is that alpha isn't at the head of the pack. Then, at the final second of separation where Particle Tara makes the full transition away from Antiparticle Tara (where all the low-frequency invaders and low-frequency abductees who were just unable to overcome the elaborate brainwashing programs to resonate with the next level of awareness finally vanish from your world), you will simply be in the next dimension with your group. That's when your next phase of your mission kicks in and you help them to build the 4th dimension. I was told directly that not only is the full 4th dimension established, but it runs all the way from the 4.0 through to the 4.99 interdimension (think of this like from caveman to George Jetson eras), and “it is this generation who successfully established it”. Which simply means, that after 26 times we’ve battled for ascension during previous Stellar Activation Cycles and lost, it is on this attempt when we finally succeeded. What that means in real terms, is that as long as each of us on the ground do our jobs successfully as is already recorded in the akashic records, this is the battle where we win. It is a tactic used exclusively by site speed scammers. *A few people may point to the fact that Meta uses Lighthouse scores as one of many contributing factors to showing ads, so certain sites MAY see an uptick in paid performance on Meta while having these fake scores. This is a horrible basis to justify attempting black hat scams on Google tools. I'll be doing a whole separate video for this topic alone, but for now, just understand it is shortsighted and unbelievably stupid. - They then used those artificially inflated performance scores as the central focus of their entire marketing strategy. *They have released some hilariously inaccurate/misleading blog posts in the past week that try and claim they don't use cloaking and that their methods are totally ethical... you better believe we are doing a follow-up video that dismantles these blog posts paragraph by paragraph. - Various current and former clients of Nostra have confirmed that one of their central selling points when convincing them to pay for Nostra (often quoting/charging thousands a month) was that their Google performance numbers were going to go up, which meant a faster site, which meant more revenue. A blatant, irrefutable lie. - As we dug into their code, we found even more issues. Most notably, their 'crawler optimization' was stripping down pages for both Lighthouse (Page Speed Insights) as well as Googlebot, which means that the contents of any page 'client-side rendered' by Nostra in this way was almost entirely invisible to Google, as it saw basically nothing to crawl and index. - All of our findings were confirmed by over a dozen well-respected developers in the Shopify space, including high-ranking engineers at Shopify. - Before we notified Nostra of our investigation into them, Jake Casto (partner in this report) met directly with the Nostra team, including their Chief Lead Architect (?) and asked every question he could to gain as much context as possible. This meeting further confirmed all of our findings and even pushed some further. - Hours after we notified the CEO of Nostra about our investigation into them and the impending report we would release, their entire site changed.... like... CHANGED. Nearly every mention of 'page speed' or 'performance score' was stripped from the site, including all of their case studies. Additionally, they renamed an entire product. Their 'Crawler Optimization' tool became 'Bimodal Dynamic Rendering'.... - That same night, the Nostra CEO then deleted all tweets insinuating performance score as a benefit of using Nostra (proof shown in the video) and began publicly talking about how useless speed scores are. A metric they had long lauded as the single-most important aspect of what their tech improves was now "pretty useless" just a few hours later. - It is imperative to know that we did not mention ANYTHING about our interest in investigating their focus on performance scores as a key marketing strategy. All of these changes were made by them without knowing anything about what in particular we were investigating. Not shockingly, the main scam we were highlighting in our investigation is what was wiped entirely (within literal hours) from their site/their founders personal messaging. * go look at their site now and try to find any claims about performance scores on their home page. They even took them off the top of all their case studies. (we show this all in the video as well). - Nostra has since continued to modify their code, resulting in some of their 'success story' clients seeing a 50+ point drop in performance scores (shown in the video). More current and former clients continue to reach out and share more stories about the many sketchy happenings at Nostra. - Nostra also released a very weak response in the form of 2 blog posts that aim to justify their actions/tech. They have been sharing this with their clients and attempting to patch over the MANY inconsistencies and blatant lies they were caught in. No SaaS is going to plug in to your Shopify store and drastically increase your performance scores in a matter of moments. A dog just made the bravest decision I have... seen anyone make this year. Not a founder. Not an athlete. Not a person with a plan and a five-year vision board. A dog, on an empty road, with nothing to lose and no idea what would come next. I have watched what comes next more times than I will admit in public. This post is 25,000 characters long. It is a list of reasons why you should watch it too. Read as much as you want, but understand one thing before you start: the video is the only part that matters, and this is everything the video doesn't have room to say. Sound on. Phone in both hands. Do not skip. I'll be here when you get back. THE NUMBER THAT SHOULD BOTHER YOU Let me start with two numbers. The first: commonly cited estimates put the world's stray dog population at around 200 million. Two hundred million animals with no address, no bowl with their name on it, and no one who would notice if they didn't come back tonight. The second number is one. That is how many people had to be on that road, at that exact minute, looking in that exact direction, in a good enough mood to stop. Not two. Not a crowd. One. Here is what nobody says out loud: for every dog you see rescued on camera, there are millions the camera never reached. We don't see them because no one was there. The videos that reach you are not a sample of reality. They are the winners of a lottery so brutal that Powerball looks like a coin flip next to it. But the core insight has survived half a century of testing, because it describes something every one of us has felt: the small, quiet voice that says, somebody else will stop. Dog looks at human. Human's oxytocin rises. Human looks back, touches, talks softly. Dog's oxytocin rises. Which makes the dog look longer. Which makes the human's oxytocin rise again. A feedback loop of affection, running across two species, powered by nothing but eye contact. Here is the part that gets me: the effect did not show up the same way in wolves raised by humans. The loop is not just training. It is something that evolved between us. So the next time someone says a dog is just responding to food, tell them there is a peer-reviewed study that disagrees. And keep this fact in your pocket for the video. Because at some point, a moment of eye contact happens in it, and I want you to know what is really going on in that room. THEY CAN SMELL WHAT YOU'RE HIDING Humans have roughly 6 million scent receptors. Dogs are commonly cited as having around 300 million. A large share of a dog's brain is devoted to processing smell. What you experience as a room, a dog experiences as a layered document: who was here, how long ago, and how they felt. In 2022, researchers at Queen's University Belfast tested something remarkable. They collected breath and sweat samples from people before and after a stressful task. Then they asked dogs to tell the samples apart. The dogs got it right nearly 94 percent of the time. Your body broadcasts your emotional state as chemistry. You cannot turn it off. You cannot fake calm. A dog reads your fear, your tension, your irritation, before you have opened your mouth. Which means every rescue is, at its core, a test of one thing: are you actually calm, or are you performing calm? The dog knows. It always knows. And that is why what happens in the first few seconds of this video matters more than anything that comes after it. Watch the body language. Watch how slowly things move. Watch what is not done. Every instinct you have says reach out. Grab. Fix. Take control of the situation. And every good rescue begins with someone who did the opposite. Who made themselves small, patient, and boring, and waited for a frightened animal to decide that the safest thing in its whole world might be a stranger. You are about to watch someone do exactly that. Notice how little they need to say. THE TEARS THEY WON'T PUT IN THE HEADLINE Scientists are careful people. They do not like to say "dogs cry." But in 2022, a team from Azabu University in Japan, led by Takefumi Kikusui, measured tear volume in dogs during reunions with their owners. The result: tear volume rose significantly compared with reunions involving other familiar people. And when researchers applied oxytocin to the dogs' eyes, tear volume rose again. Not sadness crying. Not the crying we do. Something else, something closer to overflow. The body producing water at the exact moment the heart has more in it than it can hold. Nobody has proven that this is the same thing we feel. Scientists will tell you that, and they are right to. But here is a question worth sitting with. It notices when you come home. It doesn't care about your job title, your follower count, or what you failed at last week. The false prophets of the "New Media" Dear international... friends and users of X, We are witnessing a dangerous situation unfold where Romania is being used by popular accounts on the platform to create panic and a false image of what is actually happening in the world. One of those accounts is Mario Nawfal, whom I choose to reference because I met him a few months ago and helped my partner film an interview which now seems incredible to listen to. Everyone in the crypto industry had an image of Mario from the last cycle, and it was interesting to see him pivot to what is now called "New Media" and the success he was able to achieve mainly because of retweets from Elon Musk. During the interview you can watch below, he talks about the high level of attention he receives and the responsibility that comes with it. He admits to taking a side in US politics by supporting Donald Trump because he is a "free speech" advocate, but other than that, he says that his journalism is objective regarding Ukraine/Gaza or any other hot topic around the world. He also speaks highly about posting factual information and not misinformation. Now on the current subject, I feel he is not only taking a side but also spreading significant misinformation about the situation in Romania, and I want to help you understand by clarifying some of these "facts." He refers to Calin Georgescu as "the rightful president of Romania." Let me explain what happened here. Romania had a presidential election at the end of 2024. This type of election in Romania is split into two rounds unless one of the candidates gets more than 50% of the votes. In that case, the candidate wins from the first round and gets to be installed as president. Calin Georgescu won the first round with 22.94% of the votes, which equals 2,120,401 votes out of 9,242,186. The total number of eligible voters on the lists was 18,021,800. By simple math, he obtained the vote of 11.77% of Romanians allowed to vote. Although we can objectively admit he was a favorite for the second round based on these numbers, the election was annulled. The Constitutional Court of Romania first validated the first round and then two days later decided to cancel the election after voting had already started in some areas outside the country where voting takes three days to help Romanian citizens living abroad cast their votes. Romania's president at that time declassified the documents based on which the CCR canceled the elections, and most of the data given to the public was vague. It mentioned interference from another state, social media manipulation, or the cost of the campaign being different than previously declared. Georgescu declared 0$ (ZERO) campaign budget. Now again, even if that would be enough to cancel the election, we all agree that the way the situation unfolded is terrible. It showed the lack of interest from Romanian authorities regarding the elections or, worse, parts of the system that accepted all of this before and during the vote. The root of all problems Much like all over the world, Romania is a country with corrupt politicians. Most of the time in the 35 years of democracy, the same parties ruled the country with one main goal: FILL THE POCKETS WHILE YOU CAN. I'm pretty sure you know what that feels like and thus understand that most of the population is fed up and really wants change. It all erupted in the past 2-3 years with inflation skyrocketing after the pandemic and the cost of living becoming unbearable for some parts of the population. Now here comes Calin Georgescu. A self-portrayed savior of the people and a fighter against the current establishment, he campaigned mainly on social media. Most of his ideology is nationalist, populist, and Christian Orthodox. Most of us had no idea who he was until the very last day before the first round, especially in big cities, and the fact that he won struck the country like a truck. In fact, some of his voters declared that they had no idea who he was, but social media, especially TikTok, portrayed him as the savior, and the other options were people they couldn't vote for anymore. One week before the election, most polls gave Georgescu less than 5% and, in the best cases, 8% of the votes. So you can now understand the surprise we had after the counting was done. After that night, Romanians started to analyze the winner of the first round, and what they found was sometimes scary and other times funny—ranging from "There are microchips in Pepsi that enter your body like a laptop" to "The moon landing was fake", "5G technology is extremely dangerous" or "Covid is not real, you can't see it." You can find most of his statements on this website with sources: Setting aside some of these statements, which are mostly harmless, he said things like "Romania should look towards Russian wisdom." He even said he would be ready to leave NATO if it felt necessary and criticized the EU and the way it treats Romania. While we can agree on some small details in these claims, you have to understand the raw feeling of Romanians when it comes to Russia after more than 40 years of communism. It's the same in most of the Eastern Bloc, and it is being passed from one generation to another. And it is mostly hate. Romania is not the most developed country in Europe, but it grew a lot after being accepted into NATO and the EU, and you can check the economic data that sustains this. That being said, you can probably understand why some of those statements were labeled as dangerous by parts of the population that doesn't want to accept even a small chance of leaving the EU/NATO and turning toward "Russian wisdom." Back to our current government One thing that actually unites most Romanians these days is their lack of trust in the current political scene. There is a feeling of exhaustion among us, and we just want honest people ruling the country. Probably just a dream, as my personal take is it will never happen and most of this drama is just "circus". It's always the same situation, just different pockets. Our current prime minister, Marcel Ciolacu , was recently investigated by journalists for different private flights paid for by a company that scammed many Romanians in the real estate industry. Of course, some of those involved in the scam are also politicians. So you probably now understand why we also want change. The situation in Romania is wild these days. We do want change; some think Georgescu is that change, some think he is exactly what we don't need. I don't want to make any judgments in this article. I'm trying to show you what I think "New Media" and "Citizen journalism" should be, at least in my view. What I thought Mario also stands for after that interview. In the course of the last few weeks, Mario has posted every step of Georgescu alongside a network of other popular accounts, some of them known for edgy takes or straightforward propaganda, like Jackson Hinkle or Alex Jones. He even came to Romania to interview Calin and George Simion and said he was afraid. Afraid of what? What did he think he did wrong to be afraid of? Nothing. Just the usual recipe of fear to create drama for views. Many Romanians are asking him in replies to actually dig deeper into the matter and to listen to everyone, but he clearly took a side and goes forward. Why? We don't know for sure; there are some people claiming he was paid to campaign for Georgescu, but there is no actual proof of that being the case. Maybe it's because he wants to continue with the whole "Anti-Soros" agenda widely spread even by Elon Musk these days. We don't know, and I don't want to point out a reason without proof or facts. In fact, that's exactly why I wrote this piece. I'm tired of Old Media, and now the concept of "New Media" is failing harder than I would've ever imagined. Misinformation spreads the fastest on the internet, and most people don't take the time to double or triple check. It is exactly the same practice of biased mainstream media, but for the other side. It's no longer "it must be true, I saw it on CNN" but "it must be true, I saw *insert popular account* posted it." We are witnessing a difficult situation, not only in Romania, and I think journalism should evolve into what it should've always been. But this is not the way. A wild bobcat. Cold, open water. A body that... was never built for this. This is an animal that can kill a deer. The water was about to beat it anyway. Watch the video first. Then read on. What happens in the final seconds is the reason I can't stop thinking about it. . Some clips you watch. Some clips you feel in your chest for an hour afterward. This is the second kind, and I want to explain exactly why, because once you understand what you are actually looking at, you will never watch it the same way again. This is a long one. Every section ends with something that makes the next one worth it. Stay with me. . 01 // THE COLDEST MATH IN THE WILD Let's start with something nobody tells you about water. Water is a thief. It pulls heat out of a living body up to 25 times faster than air at the same temperature. Not a little faster. Twenty-five times. It is the reason a cold day is uncomfortable and a cold swim is an emergency. Now put that math on an animal wearing a fur coat. Fur works because of what is trapped inside it: air. Thousands of tiny pockets of warm air held against the skin. The air is the insulation. The hair is just the scaffolding that holds it in place. Soak that coat and the air is gone. What was a winter jacket becomes a wet towel wrapped around the body. It is heavy. It drags. It bleeds heat at the exact moment the animal can least afford to lose it. And swimming is not free. A cat does not swim the way an otter swims. Otters are engineered for it: dense waterproof fur, webbed feet, a body shaped like a torpedo. A bobcat is engineered for something completely different. Every stroke burns fuel it does not have, while every second in the water drains the fuel it already has. That is the trap. Heat goes out. Energy goes out. Nothing comes in. In humans, the first minute in cold water triggers what physiologists call the cold shock response: a gasp reflex, a spike in heart rate, panicked breathing. Then comes the slow part, where muscles and nerves cool down and stop doing what you tell them. Animals do not get an exemption from physics. Bodies are bodies. Survival experts who study cold water use a simple frame for humans, the 1-10-1 rule. One minute to get your breathing under control after the initial shock. Ten minutes of meaningful muscle function before your limbs start refusing orders. About an hour before hypothermia becomes the real threat to life. Now shrink the body. Because the next thing I am going to tell you is why this particular animal is the last one you would expect to be in that position. . 02 // THE "BIG HOUSE CAT" LIE Somewhere along the way, someone decided a bobcat is basically a large housecat with attitude. Somebody was wrong. Let's do the numbers. A typical house cat weighs 8 to 10 pounds. Most adult bobcats land somewhere between 15 and 30 pounds, with big males pushing past that. That is two to three times the mass, and none of it is soft. It is wire and spring: long hind legs built to launch, shoulders built to hold, claws that retract and reset like a trap. By widely cited estimates, a bobcat can cover roughly 10 feet in a single leap. That is not a pounce. That is a projectile. It hunts the way the best hunters do: by being patient past the point where patience seems reasonable. It picks a spot. It goes still. It waits, sometimes for a very long time, until the world arranges itself into a single clean opportunity. Then it ends the situation in a second. Rabbits and hares are the staple. Mice, voles, squirrels, birds. But here is the detail that changes how people talk about them: bobcats have been documented taking down deer, animals much larger than themselves, particularly in harsh winters when deer are weakened. Think about what that means. This is a creature that routinely wins fights against animals that outweigh it. It has ear tufts that scientists still argue about. It has a ruff of fur around the face like a lion in miniature. It has a stubby tail, four to seven inches long, that gave the animal its name. It has a spotted coat that is essentially camouflage for dappled light, and, useful fact, the spot pattern is different from one animal to the next, which is how researchers identify individuals on trail cameras. And it has a voice. Purrs, hisses, growls, and a night scream that has been mistaken for a human in distress by people who did not know what they were hearing. So this is who we are talking about. Not a pet. Not a pushover. One of the most efficient small predators on the continent. Which is what makes the situation in this video so strange. Because everything I just told you about strength, speed and pride goes quiet when the ground disappears. . 03 // THE ANIMAL YOU HAVE PROBABLY WALKED PAST Here is a fact that should feel a little unsettling. Bobcats are one of the most widespread wild cats in North America. Their range stretches across the lower 48 states, into southern Canada, and down into Mexico. Forests, swamps, deserts, mountains, the ragged edges of suburbs. They are adaptable in a way that very few predators are. And yet most people, including people who have lived their entire lives near them, have never seen one. That is not an accident. Bobcats are solitary, shy, and mostly active around dawn and dusk. They live in the margins. They move through your world at times you are not looking, and they have made avoiding you into an art form. A bobcat's entire survival strategy is to see you first and never be seen. Which means any video of one, let alone a close, unhurried, unguarded look at one, is rare. Wildlife photographers wait years for angles like this. Researchers set up cameras and come back to empty memory cards. Now think about what it takes for a wild bobcat and a human being to end up in the same small space, with the animal not running. The animal has to be in a situation where running is no longer possible. That should give you chills. Because it is not a heartwarming meeting. It is what happens when a very proud animal has run out of options. And what happens next is the part that does not add up, which is exactly where the next section starts. . 04 // THE PART THAT DOES NOT ADD UP Predators do not do calm. A wild animal's nervous system is a hair trigger. When something big and unfamiliar closes in, the body floods with adrenaline and cortisol, and the decision tree is short: fight, flee, or freeze. Every instinct it has been born with says a large, upright, two-legged creature is the most dangerous thing in the environment. So when a wild animal is calm around humans, there are only a few explanations, and none of them is "it decided to trust us." Sometimes the animal is habituated, meaning it has lived near people so long it has stopped treating them as a threat. Sometimes the animal is so depleted, cold, hurt or exhausted that its body has quietly shut down the option to fight. Biologists have a name for one version of this: tonic immobility, a kind of involuntary freeze in which an animal goes still and unresponsive when escape seems impossible. And sometimes it is a mix of all of it, in ways science is still working out. Here is the line I want you to remember, because it will save you from a lot of bad internet takes: Do not confuse calm with consent. Stillness is not friendship. A quiet animal is not a tame animal. And some of the most dramatic moments in wildlife rescue come not from the fight, but from the moment the body stops fighting and everyone has to figure out what that actually means. There is even a documented condition, capture myopathy, in which the sheer stress of being restrained can damage a wild animal's muscles and organs badly enough to kill it, sometimes hours or days after the event, with no visible wound at all. Handling stress is a real cause of death in wildlife work. That is why professionals move slowly, keep things dark and quiet, and treat every second of contact like it costs something. Which means that in a situation like this, the difference between a good outcome and a tragic one can be invisible to the naked eye. That is what makes the footage so tense to watch if you know what to look for. And I am going to tell you exactly what to look for. But not yet. First I need you to understand how unlikely it was that anyone was there at all. . 05 // NATURE HAS NO AUDIENCE Almost everything that happens in the wild happens unwatched. Think about that for a second. Billions of small emergencies, every single day. Animals slipping, trapped, lost, starving, stranded. A fawn separated from its mother. A bird with a broken wing. A predator that misjudged a jump by an inch. Almost none of it is ever witnessed by anyone. No camera. No rescuer. No witness. It simply happens, and then it stops, and the world continues as if nothing occurred. For a rescue to happen, a chain of things has to line up. Somebody has to be in the right place. Somebody has to be looking in the right direction. Somebody has to notice a small, wet, dark shape in a huge moving surface, and understand what it is. Somebody has to decide to act rather than say "huh" and keep going. And somebody has to actually know how to help without making it worse. Break any single link and the story ends before it starts. Every viral rescue video you have ever seen is a chain like that, where all the links happened to hold. I think that is why these clips hit differently than almost anything else online. They are not just proof that an animal survived. They are proof that the chain can hold. That in a world that mostly does not look, sometimes someone does. The cold math says this animal had little time. The odds say nobody should have been there. And yet. I keep circling that "and yet." . QUICK PAUSE Before we go deeper, a small experiment. Without scrolling back up, answer this in your head: how long was the animal in that water before anyone noticed? Got a number? Now hold it loosely. The truth about time in a moment like this is that it never feels like what it is. Seconds stretch. Minutes vanish. Nobody in a crisis has an accurate clock. Keep your number. We will come back to it. . 06 // WHY YOUR BRAIN CANNOT SCROLL PAST THIS Let's zoom out, because this is the part that fascinates me professionally. In 2012, two Wharton researchers, Jonah Berger and Katherine Milkman, studied thousands of New York Times articles to figure out what makes online content spread. Their finding was not what most people expected. Positivity helped, but what mattered even more was how much physical arousal a piece of content produced. Awe, anger and anxiety, all high-arousal emotions, made people share. Sadness, which is low-arousal, made people stop. Now look at a clip like this through that lens. It has anxiety: will the animal make it? It has awe: this is a wild predator, close enough to see the texture of its fur. It has relief, and something bigger than relief. Psychologist Jonathan Haidt has a word for that bigger thing: elevation. It is the warm, expanding feeling you get when you witness someone behaving with unexpected goodness. It is the emotion that makes people want to be better, to call their mother, to do something kind. It is exactly the kind of emotion that makes people hit share before they have even finished watching. And then there is the mechanism behind the hook itself. In 1994, the behavioral economist George Loewenstein described what he called the information gap theory of curiosity: curiosity is the discomfort of noticing a gap between what you know and what you want to know. The bigger the gap, and the closer you feel to closing it, the harder it is to look away. That is what I did in the first three lines of this post. I gave you a wild animal, a disaster, and an unanswered question. Your brain has been carrying that open loop ever since. You cannot un-notice it. You can only close it. That is not a trick. It is how attention has worked since the first campfire story. The only difference now is that the campfire fits in your pocket and never goes out. There is one more thing, and it may be the most important one. Animals do not perform. They cannot posture for a camera, hide their fear behind a joke, or spin the story afterward. Their reactions are uncut. In an internet made mostly of people curating themselves, a wild animal reacting honestly to a moment is about as authentic as content gets. And in a feed that is ninety percent outrage, ten percent ads, and the occasional argument about sandwiches, a clip that is about competence and kindness feels like finding cold water in a desert. So no, it is not weird that you cannot look away. It would be weirder if you could. . 07 // 15 BOBCAT FACTS THAT CHANGE HOW YOU SEE THE CLIP You now know what the water does and what the animal is. Here is the rest of the file, fast. 1. The scientific name is Lynx rufus. "Rufus" means reddish. The animal has been carrying a color-coded label for centuries. 2. It is the most common wild cat in North America, which makes how rarely people see one even more remarkable. 3. Bobcats are ambush hunters, not chasers. They win by patience, not by endurance. Long chases are not their thing, and long swims are definitely not their thing. 4. Yes, bobcats can swim, and they do it when they have to: crossing rivers, fleeing danger, following prey. But it is a tool of last resort, not a hobby. 5. Kittens are born in spring, usually in litters of two to four, and the mother raises them alone. Dad is not part of the picture. 6. A kitten's eyes open at around a week and a half old. It will stay with its mother for most of its first year before heading off to find a territory of its own. 7. Young bobcats leaving home can travel dozens of miles looking for a place to settle. That means young animals are the ones most likely to end up somewhere unfamiliar, in situations nothing in their short lives prepared them for. 8. Bobcats mark territory with scent, scrapes and scratched trees. Their world is written in a language we mostly cannot read. 9. When they cannot finish a meal, they often cover the leftovers with leaves, snow or debris and come back for it later. Forward planning, from a cat. 10. They climb trees and use them for escape and lookout. If a bobcat ever wanted to get out of a situation, vertical was its first idea. 11. Their ear tufts are still debated. Camouflage? Hearing? Communication? Nobody has a definitive answer, and I love that. 12. Bobcat and Canada lynx are cousins, not twins. Lynx have longer ear tufts, bigger paws for snow, and a fully black-tipped tail. A bobcat's tail is black only on top of the tip, like someone dipped a paintbrush and stopped halfway. 13. Coat color changes by region. Desert animals run pale and sandy. Northern animals run darker and grayer. Same species, different wardrobe. 14. A bobcat is not closely related to a cougar. It belongs to the Lynx genus. The cougar belongs to another. When people call it a "baby mountain lion," a biologist somewhere loses a year of their life. 15. In the wild, life is often short and hard. Many bobcats do not make it to ten years old. In captivity, they can live far longer. Which tells you what the wild costs, every single day, on top of everything else. Fifteen facts. One conclusion. Every one of these facts describes an animal built to survive. Which is exactly why watching one in trouble is so hard to forget. . 08 // SIX MYTHS ABOUT WILD CATS AND WATER Since we are here, let's clear up some things. MYTH 1: All cats hate water. FALSE. Tigers swim. Jaguars swim. Fishing cats literally dive for a living. The idea that cats are universally water-averse comes from house cats, and even that is a generalization. Plenty of wild cats are comfortable in water. It is not fear of water. It is that most cats do not choose it unless there is a reason. MYTH 2: If an animal can swim, it is safe in water. FALSE. Being able to swim and being able to survive in water are two different skills. Temperature, distance, current, exhaustion and time all matter. A strong swimmer can lose to cold long before it loses to drowning. MYTH 3: A tough predator does not need help. FALSE. Toughness is not immunity. Predators die of exposure, injury and exhaustion all the time. Being at the top of a food chain does not mean being at the top of every situation. MYTH 4: A calm wild animal is a friendly wild animal. FALSE. We covered this. Calm can mean cold, tired, hurt or in shock. It does not mean safe to touch. MYTH 5: Wild cats attack people constantly. FALSE. It is the opposite. Bobcats avoid people so well that many humans go a lifetime without seeing one. Encounters that end badly are extremely rare, and most involve an animal that is sick, cornered or handled. MYTH 6: Rescue is easy. FALSE. Rescue is the visible five percent. Underneath it are timing, knowledge, restraint, risk and an enormous amount of luck. Six myths. Not one of them survives contact with the footage. . 09 // THE SECOND HALF OF EVERY RESCUE Here is something the clips never show you. Getting the animal out is the first half of the story. The second half is quieter, slower, and matters just as much. When a wild animal ends up in professional hands, the priorities are almost the opposite of what your instincts tell you. Warmth, calm, darkness and silence come first. Then a medical check for injuries, dehydration and hypothermia. Then, if all goes well, recovery in a space where the animal sees as little of humans as possible. Yes, as little as possible. Good rehabilitators deliberately avoid cuddling, talking to, or bonding with wild patients, because an animal that gets comfortable around people is an animal that struggles to survive once it goes back out there. The goal is never a rescued pet. The goal is a released predator. And when it is possible, animals are often returned to the area where they were found, because that is the territory they know: the routes, the hiding places, the food, the neighbors. So the real happy ending of a wildlife rescue is not a hug. It is a door opening, and an animal walking through it without looking back. Hold on to that image. It will matter in a minute. . 10 // PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS I am going to be blunt, because the comment section will not be. Every time a clip like this goes viral, thousands of people write some version of "I would have grabbed it too" or "I want to keep it." Please do not. A wild bobcat is not a pet. It is a wild predator with claws, teeth, and a nervous system built to treat contact as an attack. Even a small, exhausted, seemingly docile animal can injure a person badly in a fraction of a second. Bites and scratches from wildlife can carry infection. Rabies in bobcats is uncommon, but it is real, and that is not a gamble you take on a hunch. And as we covered, the danger runs both ways. The stress of being handled can hurt or kill a wild animal even when nobody meant it any harm. In many places it is also illegal to keep or transport wild animals without permits, which means the well-intentioned rescuer can end up in a legal mess and the animal can end up worse off. So what should you do if you ever find a wild animal in trouble? Keep your distance. Keep noise and movement low. Do not try to pick it up, feed it, or warm it up yourself. Call your local wildlife agency, animal control, or a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, and follow their instructions. They do this for a living. They know what the animal needs, and what it does not. Love wildlife the right way: at a distance, with respect, and through the phone number of someone qualified. The best rescue stories are the ones where the animal gets to go back to being wild. Which brings me to the ending. . 11 // HOW TO WATCH THIS VIDEO Here is my one request. Do not watch it on autopilot. Before you press play, decide what you think is going to happen. Make a prediction, honestly. Then watch, and see how wrong you were. Keep your eyes on the animal, not on the people. Watch the eyes. Watch the ears. Watch the moment the animal has to decide what it wants to do. Wildlife tells you everything if you know where to look, and it does not lie. Pay attention to the way the whole tone of the clip shifts as it goes on. The first seconds and the last seconds feel like two entirely different films. And carry these five questions with you while it plays: Why is a predator this strong not fighting? What does an animal like this actually feel in a moment like that? How many other animals never get this chance? What would you have done in that spot, honestly? And what is the very last thing the bobcat does? Only one of those has an answer you can see with your own eyes. And remember the door I mentioned, the one that opens and the animal that does not look back? Keep that picture in your head while you watch. See how close reality gets to it. And stay to the last frame. There is a reason I told you the ending matters. A second watch will show you things the first one hides. . 12 // THE THREE RULES EVERY WILDLIFE PROFESSIONAL LIVES BY If you spent a week with people who do this work for a living, you would hear the same three ideas over and over. Rule one: the animal comes before the story. Good professionals never put a camera ahead of the patient. The best footage in the world is worthless if it costs the animal something. Rule two: distance is a form of kindness. The closer you get, the more stress you add. The most respectful thing you can do for a wild animal is usually to do less, from farther away, and let it be what it is. Rule three: success means the animal does not need you anymore. Not gratitude. Not a bond. Not a photo with a cute caption. Success is independence. Notice how that flips the usual story. In most human stories, success is being needed. In wildlife, success is being forgotten. . 13 // IF YOU ONLY REMEMBER FIVE LINES Screenshot this if you want to. I would. 1. Water steals heat 25 times faster than air, and a wet coat stops working. 2. A bobcat is an ambush predator with the strength of an animal twice its size, and none of that helps when the ground disappears. 3. Do not confuse calm with consent. 4. Almost everything in nature happens unwatched. That is why the times someone looks matter so much. 5. The best ending to a wild rescue is an animal that walks away on its own. . 14 // THE REAL REASON I POSTED THIS We spend a lot of time online being told the world is getting worse. Sometimes it is. But there is another truth underneath, one that rarely trends: in a random moment, on an ordinary day, with no cameras and no audience and nothing to gain, someone looked, someone cared, and something wild got another chance. Remember the number you guessed earlier, the seconds or minutes in that water? It turns out it does not matter. What matters is that somebody noticed at all. That is the whole post. Not a miracle. Not a spectacle. Just a small, stubborn piece of evidence that the chain can hold. If it moved you even a little, that is not weakness. That is the part of you that still works. Iran and its bow bending, ready to break! War expanding. Earthquakes. Intense volcanic activity. Signs in the heavens. And all of it converging as the appointed time of the TRUMPET arrives this year on a Sabbath—A DAY OF REST! ALL THE SIGNS ARE NOT QUIETING DOWN—THEY ARE INTENSIFYING! KEEP LOOKING UP!!! 🎺QUICKLY FIRST — WHAT IS THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS? The Feast of Trumpets—Yom Teruahin the Bible—is one of the LORD's seven appointed feasts. It begins on 1 Tishrei, the first day of the seventh month, and God commanded it to be a day of rest, holy assembly, and trumpet blasts: 📖“In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.” Lev 23:24 👉🏼The trumpet was used in Scripture to call God's people together, announce movement of the camps, sound an alarm, and proclaim important occasions. And this year is extra special! 🎺Trumpets begins this Friday at sunset September 11, 2026, and 1 Tishrei falls on a Sabbath—God's day of REST. That isn't extremely rare, but the fact that the appointed time of the trumpet falls on the day of rest immediately makes me think of this verse, Isaiah 26:20: But look at what comes BEFORE: 📖 “Your dead shall live... Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust... And the earth shall cast out the dead.” Is 26:19 Then AFTER: 📖 “Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past.” Is 26:20 And the next verse tells us why: 📖 “For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity...” Is 26:21 🔗So, look at the prophetic sequence here: FIRST, resurrection. THEN, “Come, My people”—enter the chambers, hide, and rest. And AFTER that comes the indignation upon the earth. THIS MAKES US THINK ABOUT PAUL: 📖 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” 1 Thes 4:16–17 Remember originally there were no chapter breaks—so after saying this Paul points directly to the Day of the Lord: 📖 “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren... you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the LORD so comes as a thief in the night.” 1 Thes 5:1–2 Look at Paul's train of thought: 👉🏼Trumpet of God 👉🏼 Dead in Christ rise 👉🏼Church caught up 👉🏼Then Paul immediately turns to the Day of the LORD And centuries before Paul, look again at Isaiah's picture: 👉🏼The dead arise 👉🏼“Come, My people” 👉🏼Enter your chambers 👉🏼 Hide until the indignation passes 👉🏼 The LORD comes to punish the inhabitants of the earth THE PARALLEL IS AMAZING! And this year—coincidentally— 1 Tishrei, the first full day of Trumpets—falls on the Sabbath, which is THE DAY OF REST!! I LOVE IT!! NOW — LOOK AT THE WORLD INTO WHICH THIS FEAST IS ARRIVING. This is where things get really interesting!! Because Trumpets 2026 is not arriving in a quiet world by any stretch of the imagination. It is arriving while the convergence we have already been watching seems to be getting LOUDER! 🗓️I posted last week about Joel already, so I'm gonna try to not repeat my self. But remember what Peter said in his inaugural message to the Church at Pentecost, when he pointed directly back to Joel: 📖 “And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.” Acts 2:19–20 🔔A QUICK NOTE HERE: Some understand the Day of the LORD as referring only to Armageddon at the end of the Tribulation. I understand it as the 7 year tribulation period of judgment associated with Daniel’s 70th Week—not only its final battle. 👉🏼Paul says the Day of the LORD comes “as a thief in the night,” when people are saying “Peace and safety!” and then “sudden destruction” comes upon them (1 Thes 5:2–3). After seven years of catastrophic judgment, nobody will be saying "peace and safety" as preparing for Armageddon. Back to what I was saying: since I wrote that post last week, the signs haven’t gotten quieter… THEY JUST KEEP PILING ON!!! ⚠️We’re not looking at one volcano and saying, “THIS IS JOEL.” We’re not looking at one earthquake, one war, one eclipse, or one column of smoke and saying, “PROPHECY FULFILLED.” WE’RE JUST LOOKING AT THE CLUSTER. WE ARE LOOKING AT THE CONVERGENCE AND THE PROPHETIC RESEMBLANCE! And look at what has been added to that picture just as we approach Trumpets: 🌋 ANAK KRAKATAU — INDONESIA A continuous eruptive episode lasting approximately 25 hours. Ash sent 50,000 feet into the atmosphere. Jakarta's international airport was forced to close. Nearly 3,000 flights disrupted. 341,000 passengers stranded. When I saw those towering plumes rising, I immediately thought of Joel’s language: “Pillars of smoke.” Fire. Ash. Towering plumes—so massive they were captured from space in NASA satellite imagery. 🔥 AND LOOK AT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN INDONESIA AT THE SAME TIME. From September 1–7 alone, Indonesia's wildfire emissions reached 19.7 MILLION metric tons of CO₂—more than ONE-THIRD of the entire world's wildfire emissions during that period and 273% ABOVE the seasonal average. Authorities are calling this Indonesia's most intense wildfire season in 11 years, with massive haze now affecting millions of people. THE MIDDLE EAST IS NOT CALMING DOWN EITHER: ISRAEL — IRAN — AND NOW THE CONFLICT IS WIDENING: Last Thursday Prime Minister Netanyahu said: 🎙️“The achievements are immense, but there is still more to complete. I mean, first and foremost, the toppling of the regime. This regime in Iran — its end is near. It is weak, it is fighting for its life, it is faltering.” 🔔Remember what we're watching and waiting for. We're watching for that Jeremiah 49 “bow of Elam” to be broken, potentially opening a window of peace and security for Israel that could set the stage for Ezekiel 38. And as of September 10, the conflict is spreading even further. Iran reports attacks on ships near the Strait of Hormuz, while Houthi advances and attacks are putting the chokepoint Bab el-Mandeb at risk. AND THERE IS SOMETHING EVEN BIGGER HAPPENING AROUND ISRAEL RIGHT NOW. 🗡️As we approach Trumpets, two days ago, Sep 8th. international pressure for a TWO-STATE SOLUTION is intensifying again. The UK, France and Canada have announced new measures to protect that outcome—and they plan to take that effort directly to the UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY later this month. And THAT immediately brings us back to Joel once again. Because Joel doesn't only speak about blood, fire, pillars of smoke and signs in the heavens. He also tells us what happens when the NATIONS gather concerning ISRAEL: 📖 “I will also gather all nations… on account of My people, My heritage Israel… THEY HAVE ALSO DIVIDED UP MY LAND.” Joel 3:2 👉🏼THAT is the part of the convergence I don't want us to miss. (long post on going from pre-product to post-product as... a founder) We're swiftly approaching launch, so I thought I'd take some time to reflect. The accompanying video is of the first graphical implementation of Onflow (on Android) for a demo we did at Devcon. Barebones (a bit rough around the edges compared to today's visuals) from exactly a year ago. Onflow might prove to be the most complex protocol engineered thus far within the ZK/MPC/privacy space. ~2 years of work, 13 employees, expertise, refining, rebuilding, consulting, re-writing, auditing, novel research in MPC and ZK constructions. What goes into what we're building? First I'll outline what the scope for the initial release of Onflow is (skip to next section if this isn't interesting to you): - Be an SDK, not a standalone monolith. While we do have Onflow ID (our Onflow implementation), we never want Onflow to be centralized around 1 app. This also makes our user-by-default system so much more stronger in garnering network effects. If you've used Onflow even once, as soon as you open another app a few months later that requires compliance, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that the magic of the protocol has auto-submitted exactly what the service provider is looking for and there is no-to-little user interaction required on your end. - Privacy, privacy, privacy. My background, and a 90% of the development team at Sundial has a solid background in complex privacy schemes, zero-knowledge, academia and practical implementations. We believe compliance/KYC breaches are some of the most dangerous (both physically and virtually) data leaks that can occur, and so Onflow was built to be virtually impossible to leak any meaningful data from, even if you're delegating work to overseas staff, due to how data is stealth-schematized so support agents only see *exactly* what they need to solve your case, and nothing else. - Privacy, again. So what does privacy entail? Well. For Onflow we're utilizing so many new primitives in one, that all come from different departments. From the zero-trust infrastructure for our compliance dashboard, our never-before-seen quantum-resistant QuantMQ data dispatch protocol that is pervasive throughout the entire Onflow ecosystem, to complex routers for oracling and verifying proofs onchain (EVM and SVM initially, as recently announced). 🚨What is she carrying? Part 2⁉️ Depending on your... AI platform preference … we get either a $40,000 handheld X-ray device or a $40 thermos-and-lunch-bag cooler combo? What was your conclusion, and which was right? When we first came across this video months ago, I immediately said it looked like she was “carrying a lunch bag,” or some kind of cooler. But for whatever reason, and what we were more focused on at the time, we didn’t spend the hours and hours and hours required to drill down on those few seconds of video. Not until this week. Tons of social media critics say I should “just release everything we know, and let the truth fall where it may.” But that’s how we get in trouble. And we HAVE gotten things wrong in this five-year-long investigation. EVERYONE has made mistakes. Left and right media, major legacy media, alternative media, and even the best of the independent journalists have made mistakes or misreported details of the January 6, 2021 event. Whether on purpose, by accident, or careless disregard of the truth … you can be the judge of each incident. I’ve explained on numerous occasions that we’ve spent more than a year researching, investigating, and preparing some stories before going public. In this case, when we finally started looking hard at it, the Brave New World of AI took us on a wild goose chase. We now have good reason to finally drill down on the timelines and available video leading up to the sequence of events on the night of January 5, 2021 … the night before the discovery of the two “devices” at the RNC and DNC headquarters. When inputting into AI that first video — which I posted last night — It began spitting out some shocking alternatives to my original “lunch bag” assumption. Unprompted, the AI drew its own conclusion about what Ms. Kerkhoff was carrying, probably because they were “cops” in the video. To be clear, UNPROMPTED, AI was initially adamant that the item in her hand was a portable X-ray device for sniffing out narcotics, weapons, and explosives. Even some The U.S. Capitol Police sources we shared the video with said the same thing. Other Capitol Police sources were more skeptical. Then, suddenly AI wasn’t so sure. As I mentioned last night, in my second post, X’s Grok and Google’s Gemini were arguing with each other. Gemini was shockingly specific: “The item being carried by the officer in that CCTV footage matches the exact structural form factor, top-handle position, and multi-point shoulder strap design of a Viken Detection HBI-120 Handheld Backscatter X-Ray Imager … Rather than being transported bare, it is housed in its specialized tactical, weather-resistant soft deployment carry case.” Wow. You can imagine how that hit like a bolt of lightning, considering whom we were looking at. Grok was less committed, offering varying possibilities ranging from a “paper takeout bag” to all manner of sophisticated law enforcement-used electronic devices. When I pitted Grok against Gemini — and vice versa — Gemini dug in its heels, saying: “Based on the visual evidence in the video and the analysis circulating in response to Steve Baker's query, the device carried by Officer Kerkhoff is almost certainly a Viken Detection (formerly Heuresis) HBI-120 in its tactical soft-carry case. While officially unconfirmed, the visual and structural match is highly specific.” Grok countered: “The competitor [Gemini] write-up describes that pouch as if it were a catalog item with a unique layout, then maps the CCTV blob onto it and calls it an ‘exact’ match. The citations in that text are HBI-120 product pages, not photos of a factory soft case that looks like this bag. That is overfit. Size class + top handle + ‘looks tactical’ is not an identification of an 8-pound 120 keV imager. Could an agency have put an HBI-120 in some aftermarket or unit-made padded bag? Yes. Does this video prove that? No.” But Grok was also an absolute mess in describing the basic video scene itself: “A gray-haired person in dark clothing walks in from the left carrying a dark bag by a single top handle. Papers or a light object in the other hand. Two uniformed officers come down the ramp. They meet. Later two officers walk the sidewalk; one has a light-colored item (bag or papers), and a dark bag is still in the scene. Someone else walks away across the lot with a bag.” Huh? Anyway… Gemini didn’t like what it called “The Thermos Theory”: “Soft Lunch Coolers typically use flexible nylon webbing straps or soft padded handles that pinch or deform when lifted. The handle in the video does not appear to ‘pinch’ like a soft strap; it remains an open loop. This structural rigidity strongly favors the Viken device (or a hard-shelled case) over a soft lunch bag.” Grok’s conclusion: “On evidence quality, the Viken ID is the weaker of the two. It is possible in the abstract and unsupported as a positive ID here. The honest read is: dark soft top-handle bag, lunch-cooler to small-kit size, contents unknown. Anything more specific needs a better frame, a still of the bag on the ground, or provenance outside this clip.” Gemini’s conclusion: “This single frame is ambiguous due to the blur and lighting (reflection). However, the rigid, non-deforming handle visible in the officer's grip is a mechanical characteristic of the Viken HBI-120 (or similar heavy equipment) and is inconsistent with the flexible straps of a standard soft lunch cooler. While the "silver" glint is a point for the thermos theory, it is plausibly explained by the Viken's glass screen or case window. Verdict: The structural analysis (rigid handle) still favors the heavier equipment (Viken) over a standard soft lunch bag.” So, depending on your AI preference … we get either a $40,000 handheld X-ray device or a $40 thermos-and-lunch-bag cooler combo? But there is more evidence in the alternate video angles available. (That I now present below.) They seem to confirm with the ‘human eye’ that Ms. Kerkhoff is carrying a metal cylinder (possibly a thermos) in the same hand as a soft-sided lunch bag cooler. Though the design conflicts with the common thermos handle configurations of most known cylinder thermoses. (Photos below.) And we've not been able to get an accurate hit on the so-called "lunch bag" with that specific handle and strap configuration. And THAT is why you don’t just “release what you know” without seeking every possible video angle and expert opinion. That is why we didn’t run to print with our original November 8 story on the OG topic without first taking it to a government intelligence agency and professional investigators for review. That is why so many bad theories about January 6 still abound — five and a half years later — because they were based on a single camera angle, when years later, the same scene was revealed to have been captured from multiple angles that change reality 180 degrees. This is exactly why all CCTV footage — not just from January 6, but also January 5 and 7 — still needs to be released to the public. When Speaker Mike Johnson authorized Rep. Barry Loudermilk's old investigative subcommittee to begin uploading CCTV footage to a Congressional Rumble channel, we were elated. I had already spent many weeks in the Capitol CCTV viewing room in D.C. The travel, the expense, and the scheduling hassles with the committee made it nearly impossible to spend the amount of time required to prepare any story correctly. Not only to view and harvest what you were looking for, but also to sift through far more than the infamous “41,000 hours” of footage. Congress made more than 1,800 cameras' worth of footage available, and ten total days of footage. That’s hundreds of thousands of hours of potentially useful footage to review. An impossible task for any one person or media organization to review if Congress didn’t make that footage directly available to the public. But they didn’t finish the project. Tens of thousands of vitally important hours from both January 5 and 6 were never uploaded to the Rumble page. Additionally, my team has made specific requests for curiously missing gaps in footage throughout that two-day timeline. In an arrangement made with the Committee, they had originally been very good about getting us the footage from the specific cameras and timestamps we requested. That suddenly stopped when the new Congress and Loudermilk’s new J6 investigative subcommittee took over in January of 2025. Joe Hanneman and I have made innumerable requests — REPEATEDLY — for missing and/or unreleased cameras and timestamps specifically related to the pipe bomb investigation. Despite being told — REPEATEDLY — that they would provide the requested footage, they never did. Something happened. As I’ve reported several times in the last few months, the Capitol Police were finally and successfully able to shut down Loudermilk’s subcommittee investigation into ALL THINGS related to the Capitol Police. They did this only with the complicity and surrender of Speaker Johnson and Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan to Capitol Police leadership’s demands. On that note, and in conclusion … there are eight full hours of missing footage from January 5, right in the middle of the day. ALL CAMERAS are missing. These are important hours for what we are tracking. We can see Ms. Kerkhoff arrive at Capitol Police HQ early in the morning to clock in for her shift, but she is not carrying her “lunch bag and thermos” when she arrives. Her car is parked two blocks away, and is in the same parking spot at the end of her day. We can see her leave HQ late in the day (as I’ve documented in the last several posts on this page) with other officers and go to the Fairchild Building. Only to return some half hour later carrying that … thing(?) … and only to spend 45 seconds in the HQ to “clock out” from her overtime shift. We’re still missing vital video footage that both Speakers McCarthy and Johnson promised the American people. Including certain cameras deliberately withheld at the RNC bomb drop location, and other cameras with mysterious gaps at the most important of moments. Do the other video angles here prove that either Grok or Gemini was right, or does the X hive mind have better theories on what Kerkhoff is carrying? How about that high-definition CCTV camera that is right inside that west side door at Capitol Police HQ, with good lighting? They should release that video to us. A $40,000 bomb detection device or a Walmart thermos and lunch bag? I’m good with either. The truth is what we seek. But we should be able to see ALL the footage. Including all Capitol CCTV cameras and footage from January 6, and the days immediately preceding and following. Including the 39,000 video files the FBI claims to have in the entire J5/J6 pipe bomb investigation.
