You would never know this bunny has a massive... obstruction in her gut and is in a life threatening condition right now. This is Anya I’m shaking because I’m so worried, she’ll be in intensive care tonight. Rabbits pretend to be ok because predators always target the weakest bunny in the warren. They can look fine while nursing the most horrific injuries. She wasn’t excited about her treats so I checked her over. Her belly was hard and swollen so I rushed her to the vet. Just like a human can take an awkward step... and sprain or dislocate one's ankle, so can a horse - EXCEPT... a horse is over 1000 lbs running at 35 mph - whether racing or running full-tilt in a field - the physics can result in a catastrophic injury. Kiya, my 8 year old mini poodle, has suffered... seizures since she got a rabies vaccine at age 1 when she was spayed. The seizures are getting less frequent and way less severe but the worst one 4 years ago left her so disoriented she never walked for two days. 😥 She did get the parvo vaccine from the breeder before I got her at 8 weeks but parvo usually only affects puppies before their livers are mature and rarely affects a mature dog. Family members look after our pets if we are away so never any need for vaccines like kennel cough. The breeder had actually advised against the rabies vax as small breeds can have negative reactions to it. I so wish I had said no to it when the vet said she should get it at one year. Seriously how many Old Yellars are there getting rabies, anyway? So, our 3 year old mini poodle, Ginny has had zero vaccines and is the healthiest livewire, so full of energy and happiness. I do all my own grooming but live in rural Saskatchewan where groomers don't ask anyway. Video is a mild seizure she had January 2024 that was over in about 10 minutes, but she is always disoriented for hours after. Sad.show more

In her voice notes she no longer sounds as if she is fighting for every breath. She feels every prayer and every kindness you have sent her way. I promise you, she has all of you to thank for that. The tragic: she received terrible news today and is carrying a deep personal loss. You will not see her here for a long while, if at all. 🚨 More details emerging from the devastating storm damage... in Lynndyl, Utah. The National Weather Service has received reports of widespread wind and hail damage across the area, including trees snapped and uprooted, power lines down, homes damaged and railroad cars overturned. At this point, there are no directly measured wind speeds from the storm, so we don’t yet know exactly how strong the winds were. However, the damage pattern is providing some important clues. Videos and photos show numerous trees knocked down in the same direction, which is consistent with strong, straight-line winds. There is currently no obvious convergent damage signature suggesting a tornado in the areas documented so far. That said, the investigation isn’t over. The National Weather Service has a survey team heading to Lynndyl to assess the damage firsthand. They’ll be looking closely at the damage pattern, vegetation, structures and other evidence to determine how intense the winds were and whether anything more significant occurred. So for now, the big question remains: Just how strong were the winds in Lynndyl? We should have a much better answer after the survey is completed, weather permitting. To say this has been a month no one... ever imagines is possible in life is an understatement Late June… we find out my wife’s father has the same version of lung cancer she has been fighting/beating and that he can’t handle treatment so he only has weeks to live. At the same time, we find out her cancer is back in her hip socket. Better than in 7 spots like before but still, back. So, the oncologist determines 5 rounds of radiation starting July 20th July 4th comes around and we spend as much time as we can with her dad, traveling down to Delaware every week, sitting on the porch, letting him smoke and talk about anything and everything.. telling us “In 75 years they’re still going to be talking about me.. you know why? Because of how I was always smoking in the alley, in the alley (in his best singing voice)” July 10th, phone rings around 9am… we already knew why.. dad was gone. Quietly, peacefully, at home. But still gone, from the exact cancer she just beat. A complete mindfuck. No way to explain, no explanations, just gone. She asks herself why could she beat it and he couldn’t even handle treatment? Some things, we will never know the why to. Fast forward to today. She completes her 5th radiation session on her hip and get to ring the bell as a sign of completion. But, it’s not the same. She used to call dad right after every session to let him know how it went. But today, there was no call. She fights through the tears to let him know she made it, she did it for him, and she will continue to fight for him, and never stop. She is unstoppable She will never quit She is a saint And quietly, when cancer creeps in, she is a savage and will beat this againshow more

🚨BREAKING: Another ICE agent has been caught on video... illegally pointing a firearm at a U.S. citizen, in Lemonwood, California. In the video, an unmarked ICE vehicle is stopped in the middle of the road… no vehicles are in front of it, and nothing is preventing them from driving forward. Instead of continuing to drive down the road, the ICE agent is blocking a pickup truck from turning, while pointing a gun, out their window, directly at the driver of that truck. The truck backs up, but the agent still keeps the firearm pointed at the driver. Only AFTER people begin honking their horns does the agent lower their weapon, and drive away. The law states that pointing a firearm at someone is considered a serious threat of deadly force. It is only justified when an officer has an objectively reasonable belief that they are facing an immediate threat of death, or serious bodily harm. It is not legally allowed to be used to control traffic, and it is not legally allowed to be used as intimidation. And that’s exactly why this video should be alarming to you. The agent is not boxed in… nothing is preventing them from driving down the street. Meanwhile, the agent is the one preventing the truck from continuing its turn. And they are doing so while pointing a gun at the driver. So, the question becomes… What immediate threat justified the ICE agent to stop their car, and point a firearm at a U.S. citizen? Because we are seeing a growing pattern, of publicly documented incidents, where ICE agents point firearms at legal observers, journalists, and bystanders during enforcement encounters… when they are not facing an immediate threat of death. That is not how public safety works. Pointing a firearm at someone is one of the most serious things an officer can do, because it instantly escalates an encounter into a potential deadly force situation. And that is exactly why the law is supposed to restrict it. Every unnecessary drawn gun increases the risk of a wrong judgment, and a fatal mistake. And when there is no accountability, for when that line gets crossed, drawing a gun because the normal for every situation. And when it becomes normal, more people’s lives are put in danger.show more
