I’m tweeting this because I was pretty frustrated with Watson yesterday during the show with him not coming up with the PBU on this. Outside of closing the gap more on the sideline he was in phase and looks like he timed his jump pretty perfectly. Bad timing that the arm hits him when he’s between steps. Easier to lose balance with neither foot touching the ground AGAIN I DON’T CARE ABOUT A PENALTY OR NOT. Since v14, FSD has this weird obsession with moving... from the inner lane to the outer lane during a left turn. For me, it happens on every two-lane left turn. And it does it in a very jerky, dangerous way — even if it means cutting in front of another car, FSD will still insist on doing it. Is this because FSD is more afraid of hitting the curb at the corner than of getting rear-ended by someone else? This really feels like a serious bug to me. I’m not sure whether it’s because the model is overfitted to avoid curbs during turns, or because it was trained to always end up in the rightmost lane after a left turn. I honestly don’t know, but I really hope this gets fixed soon.show more

President Trump is being duped on polling numbers about... the popularity of War with Iran and does not realize it. CNN released a clearly fake or cherry picked poll saying that almost all of MAGA supports the War. This could not be further from the truth. If you think it is, go ask a few MAGA people in your actual life their thoughts on the War. A lot of them are strongly against it. But both the mainstream media and the neocons around President Trump want him to believe these numbers. The left leaning mainstream media want him to believe these numbers because the longer this war goes on, the better it works out for Democrats in upcoming elections. The right leaning mainstream media want him to believe it because their biggest donors are very pro war in Iran. The neocons surrounding him want him to believe it because then they can have the war in the Middle East they have always pushed for. I do not think President Trump is playing 4D chess with this war. The discourse around the Eze penalty last night is... fascinating. If nothing else it provides Arteta with an excuse as to how his team has been hard done by and robbed. He loves excuses. It’s a fascinating situation because I actually think the right outcome was reached albeit through the wrong process. Once given on the field under the current rules it shouldn't have been overturned. For that Arsenal can feel aggrieved. Don't forget Arsenal were the beneficiaries of an incredibly soft penalty in Leverkusen. It wasn’t overturned. I find the attached video interesting because it clearly shows how minimal the contact is. The defender doesn’t pin Ezes foot to the ground. Doesn’t smash into it. It brushes down the side of it. It’s where the still pictures of it were wildly misleading. Are we really saying that contact such as that is worthy of a penalty? What’s clear in the video is that Eze has absolutely made the most of the slight contact. I love the straight left leg. A very natural position. It’s a brilliant dive and normally it would have been rewarded. By saying that is a stone wall penalty all we are doing is encouraging such theatrics and cheating. Whenever you hear the words “that was clever” by a commentator they are intimating the player has cheated/made the most of it. We complain about refs all the time but what chance do they have when players are doing stuff like this. Until players are punished properly there is no disincentive for players to keep doing this stuff. I also find it fascinating when you have a foot brushed like this. 4 separate handball incidents Connor Barron- • Gets the... ball hit at him and accidentally hits his arm while his body is turned • The ref doesn’t see it • Nobody claims it and the game plays on • There’s another 2 phases of play, including Aberdeen TOUCHING the ball • VAR pull it all the way back to disallow the goal Lawrence Shankland- • Intentionally controls the ball with his arm • Hearts go up the park and score • Shankland barely celebrates and openly says “it’s a handball” about 5 times • VAR “check” it and allow the goal • Then Shankland celebrates it Gogic and Trusty handballs- • After getting a penalty vs Celtic for Sterling’s “handball” they set the bar that anything going on target, hand away from the body, accidental or not, it’s a penalty. In football, a defender is allowed to step across an attacker and use their body to shield the ball once they have established position, provided it is within playing distance of the ball. Since Khusanov is using his body to block the run and it's shoulder-to-shoulder (with Pedro's hand on him), this changes the dynamic completely from a "push." Looking at this specific angle, it looks much more like a standard physical battle where the defender successfully "boxes out" the attacker.
