This lawyer made $150,000 selling portable offline AI. It... analyzes docs that can’t legally be shown on the web. The whole setup costs $50 and he sells it for $999. Here's how to make one step-by-step: You need 4 things: → Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB) → PiSugar 3 Plus battery → Whisplay HAT for the screen and mic → 64GB SD card. Total cost on Ali is around $50 to $90 if you wait for the right deals. 1. Write Raspberry Pi OS Lite 64-bit to the SD card using Raspberry Pi Imager. 2. Stack the PiSugar battery underneath the Pi, snap the Whisplay HAT on top, insert the SD card, and boot the device. 3. Open the terminal and install Ollama with one command: curl -fsSL | sh 4. Pull a model that actually runs on the Pi without choking: ollama pull phi3:mini 5. Run the model and start chatting offline: ollama run phi3:mini The whole thing fits in your pocket, lasts 4 hours on battery, and never touches the internet once setup is done. The lawyer wraps his version in a custom case, preloads it with legal document analysis prompts, and sells it to law firms that can't legally process client data in the cloud. You can sell yours to doctors, accountants, government contractors, defense companies, or anyone else who handles data that legally cannot leave the building. Hardware cost: $50 to $90. 14 year old student from China ordered a Raspberry... Pi Zero for $4, a PiSugar battery for $3, and a small 3.5" screen for $6. $13 total and a package from AliExpress. He soldered it together himself, installed Ollama, and loaded Gemma 2b - a model that runs entirely offline. No servers, no subscriptions, no API keys. Then he used that device to break into the GTA VI pre-alpha build. The one Rockstar keeps locked away from everyone. The debug console appeared on screen. Lucia's inventory. Water physics parameters. THIS SHELF OF MAC MINIS REPLACES $4,080 A YEAR... IN AI SUBSCRIPTIONS 00:02 the camera pans across a shelf of stacked Mac minis and the trick is obvious: that silent little farm runs the models you rent every month most people pay 7 companies for AI and use 3 of the tools. they forget the rest on the credit card and call it a stack the Mac mini M4 ends that. one shared memory pool means a $599 box runs 7B and 8B models faster than Windows machines that cost twice as much ollama pull, one command. open webui in one docker line. point Claude Code at localhost and it just works it draws 10 to 30 watts, sits silent next to a router, and runs 24/7 for $3 a month in power it pays back a $20 ChatGPT Plus sub in 3 months, then saves you $4,000 a year while the frontier still rents you compute every month you wait is another $340 gone for compute that fits on a shelfshow more

How Did Pi Network Build a Huge User Base... Before it Had a Fully Open Blockchain? Launched in 2019 by Stanford graduates, Pi (Pi Network) made crypto participation possible through a smartphone app instead of expensive mining hardware. But what exactly made its model different? (1) It made mining accessible through smartphones. Pi allowed users to earn Pi by checking into the app and starting a mining session. The process was designed to consume very little battery and computing power compared with traditional proof of work mining. This removed one of the biggest barriers to crypto mining, expensive hardware and high electricity costs. (2) It turned users into part of the network's growth engine. Pi introduced referral bonuses that encouraged existing users to invite friends and family. Users could also build security circles by adding people they trusted to the network. This created a built in growth mechanism that helped Pi expand its community rapidly. (3) Early Pi mining was not traditional blockchain mining. Before Open Network, users were not securing a public blockchain through conventional proof of work mining. Instead, the mobile app helped establish user participation and prepare the ecosystem before the network became publicly accessible. (4) Pi built the community before opening the network. Pi spent years operating through different development stages before launching its Open Network in February 2025. A firewalled Enclosed Mainnet had already gone live in December 2021, giving the project a working but closed blockchain years before it opened externally. During that period, the project focused heavily on growing its user base and developing its ecosystem. This flipped the usual crypto growth model, where networks often launch first and try to attract users afterward. (5) The Open Network changed what users could actually do. With Open Network, Pi became externally connected to the broader blockchain ecosystem. Users were now able to engage with Pi beyond the closed system it had been previously in, while developers were free to create applications on the network. This made the token and its massive community more realistic.show more

A HARDWARE MODDER BOLTED A BATTERY PACK ONTO A... $599 MAC MINI M4 AND TURNED A DESK SERVER INTO A BACKPACK AI RIG THAT RUNS FOR EIGHT HOURS WITHOUT A WALL OUTLET he posts a video of the mac mini with a slim battery module clamped to the side, USB-C plugged into the back. no power brick, no outlet, just the 10 to 30W draw of the M4 chip pulling from a 20,000mAh bank. a full work day on one charge. this is not a portable laptop trick. it is a desk-class AI server that fits in a sling bag the same $599 mac mini i recommended in last week's article as the silent default, now untethered. pair it with a mobile hotspot or a Starlink mini and you have a fully off-grid LLM stack that answers questions in a forest, on a plane, in a power outage. the model lives in the box, the battery powers the box, that is the whole stack this is not a gadget. it is the first time the words "AI server" and "fits in your bag" belong in the same sentenceshow more

Through the significance of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's unified... weights and measures in Chinese history and the purchase price of Lu Hua's unified snake venom, we can get some inspiration: 1. The price of Pi needs to be unified, and only unification can make Pi really circulate well. 2. Only a unified price can attract merchants and supplier platforms to participate in the development of the ecosystem. Without a unified price, most suppliers will only wait and observe or take out a small product input so it is difficult to achieve ecological prosperity or it will take very long time. 3. When the supplier is a business entry, it involves the preparation of financial statements and tax returns, which require a uniform price to accept for the management of the state. 4. If the price ranges from 1 cent to 310,000$ or even higher to 1 million$, it is an unfair and dangerous competitive environment for higher price suppliers. They cannot convince their companies to enter the Pi network to participate in the ecosystem. Also when most merchants or suppliers or eco platforms united the price, it will attract outside eco business enter in to create eco cycle to use Pi as payment and no need to exchange to FIAT. So why do suppliers pay $314,159 and others use 1 cent price? If you think about it, you can understand why that the price of the Pi is 1 cent, $1 or $100. Only those who want to buy want a low price, this is common sense. Why do many merchants actively support GCV? Don't forget that themselves are pioneers. Many people make mistakes in logic when looking at the relationship. Pioneers and merchants are not only the relationship as buyers and sellers but also they have same interests. The reason why sellers are willing to use GCV price is that they think Pi is scarce and precious and they have Pi in their hands. They hope to realize the vision of Pi by their own efforts. If everyone barters for $1 for $1 and $100, can the mainnet be opened? What are the risks of opening the mainnet? Will it cause Pi to fail to realize its vision or becoming the next Bitcoin? Now whether it is a low consensus or a high consensus merchant as long as they have Pi in hand you should come to sit together to discuss to unified price. Pi Network #WhatIdoforPi #PiGCVshow more

Now GCV has been acknowledged by most Pi Network global communities and gained a lot of support! Newsway Founded in 2014 by T.I UKENDE, It states:" NEWSWAY can offer you Verifiable information on Blockchain technology and digital assets. We now serve customers all over the world, and are thrilled that we’re able to turn our passion into a well recognized website." The following is today's article passed all over the world Pi Network community from US expertise freelancer Ms. Grace Owell. Thanks to her excellent outstanding article which can see her sharpness and insight to the crypto currency world and understand the Pi Network mission very well!👍👍👍 Pi Network’s Global Consensus Value (GCV) has been making headlines lately, thanks to the initiators who have proposed an amazing price to the Pi community. The supporters of Global Consensus GCV Price have been praised for their efforts in bringing this proposal forward. The GCV builders have worked hard to come up with a fair and reasonable price for the Pi community, and their hard work has paid off. The proposed GCV price of $314159 has received overwhelming support from the community and has been hailed as a significant milestone for the Pi Network. The GCV price proposal is an important development for the Pi Network, as it establishes a standard value for the Pi currency. This value will help the Pi community to measure the worth of their holdings and make informed decisions about buying and selling Pi. The Pi Network’s Global Consensus Value (GCV) is a revolutionary pricing mechanism that is designed to be transparent, fair, and reflective of the true value of Pi cryptocurrency. The GCV price takes into account various key metrics, including the mathematical value for π, user adoption, network usage, and other relevant factors, to determine a fair value for Pi. By using a comprehensive and transparent pricing mechanism, the Pi Network aims to build confidence among users and investors, while also promoting greater adoption of the Pi cryptocurrency. Importance of the Global Consensus Value (GCV) Price Here are some of the key importance of the GCV Price: Standardized Value: The GCV price establishes a standardized value for the Pi cryptocurrency, which helps users to measure the worth of their holdings and make informed decisions about buying and selling Pi. Fairness and Transparency: The GCV price mechanism is designed to be fair and transparent, taking into account various metrics such as user adoption, network usage, and market demand. This builds confidence in the Pi Network among users, investors, and regulators. Increased Adoption: A trustworthy and reliable GCV price can attract more users and investors to the Pi Network, leading to greater adoption of the Pi cryptocurrency and increased usage of the network. Long-Term Stability: A stable and reliable GCV price can help to build a more stable and long-term ecosystem for the Pi Network, ensuring its success and growth over the long run. Integration with Wider Financial Markets: A standardized and transparent GCV price can help the Pi cryptocurrency to be more widely accepted and integrated into the wider financial markets, providing greater opportunities for its use and adoption. The Pi community has responded positively to the GCV price proposal, with many users expressing their support for the proposed Pi Network remains strong and stable. The Global Consensus Value is an important step forward for the Pi community, and it is a sign of the network’s growing maturity and stability. Pi Network #PIGCV #PiNetworkshow more

This Chinese developer launched Llama 70B locally on a... MacBook on a plane and for a full 11 hours without internet ran client projects. He was sitting by the window on a transatlantic flight with a MacBook Pro M4 with 64 GB of memory. WiFi on board cost $25 for the flight. He declined. No cloud API, no connection to Anthropic or OpenAI servers, no internet at all. Just a local Llama 3.3 70B on bf16 and his own orchestrator script. The model runs through llama.cpp. Generation speed, 71 tokens per second. Context around 60,000 tokens. Memory usage, 48.6 GiB out of 64. Battery at takeoff, 3 hours 21 minutes. And he gave the orchestrator this system prompt before takeoff: "You are an offline orchestrator running on a single MacBook. There is no network. The only resources you have are local files in /Users/dev/work, the Llama 70B inference server at localhost:8080, and a battery budget of 3 hours 21 minutes. Process the queue at /Users/dev/work/queue.jsonl (one client task per line). For each task: draft → run local evals → save artefact to /Users/dev/work/done/. Save context checkpoints every 12 tasks so you can resume after a battery swap. Stop only on empty queue or when battery drops below 5%." So the system knows exactly what resources it is running on. It knows it has no connection to the outside world for the next 11 hours. It knows it has finite memory and a finite battery. It knows the human will not intervene until the plane lands. The system runs in 1 loop. Takes a task from the queue, runs it through inference, saves the artifact, writes a checkpoint. Task after task, just like that. And only when the battery drops below 5% does the orchestrator automatically pause, waits for the laptop to switch to the backup power bank, and continues from the last checkpoint. Here is what the system actually writes in his log during the flight: "saved context checkpoint 8 of 12 (pos_min = 488, pos_max = 50118, size = 62.813 MiB)" "restored context checkpoint (pos_min = 488, pos_max = 50118)" "prompt processing progress: n_tokens = 50 / 60 818" "task 37016 done | tps = 71 s tokens text → /Users/dev/work/done/proposal_westside.md" Outside the window, clouds, blue sky, and no WiFi. On the tray, 1 MacBook, an open terminal on 2 screens, and an inference server on localhost. From what I have observed, this is the cleanest offline AI workflow I have seen in the past year: 11 hours of flight, $0 for WiFi, and the entire client queue closed before landing.show more

1 mini PC that fits in a palm, with... no monthly token bill attached to it. Most people run their AI through a browser tab. Every prompt, every document, every half-finished idea leaves the machine and lands on someone else's server. This ORICO mini PC runs the model locally. The assistant lives inside the box, not in a data center 2,000 miles away. Small enough to slide into a bag. Powerful enough that you stop noticing it is not a desktop. You pay once for hardware instead of every month for limits. No outage that takes your assistant down with it. No terms of service deciding what your files are worth. Plug it in anywhere, and the assistant is already there, offline, waiting. The smallest machine on the desk is the only one that keeps its mouth shut.show more

What is Pi App Studio’s New creation Pricing Model?... Pi Network (Pi Network) has announced a major change to how creators will pay to build and edit apps through Pi App Studio, with the new pricing taking effect on August 24, 2026. Until now, Pi heavily subsidized App Studio for all creators. Under the introductory model, creators paid just 0.25 Pi to create an app and another 0.25 Pi to edit one. But Pi says the actual cost of providing AI-powered app creation is significantly higher than what creators were paying. That means Pi Network has been covering much of the difference. Now, after collecting data on how creators use App Studio, Pi is changing that approach. So, what exactly is changing? (1) Standard App Studio pricing is coming From August 24, creators will face a standard creation and editing price that more closely reflects the underlying cost of the AI services used. The exact price will not necessarily be fixed. Pi says it may vary depending on the resources required to create or edit an app. Importantly, Pi says it will not add a markup to the underlying AI service costs. (2) Some creators can still receive subsidized pricing The biggest change is that Pi is not completely removing its subsidies. Instead, subsidies will become more selective. Creators whose apps attract a sufficient number of real users can continue receiving the previous subsidized pricing. The focus will be on apps demonstrating genuine utility and usage from distinct users, rather than activity generated by the creator alone. (3) Pi wants creators to build useful apps This is arguably the most important part of the new model. Pi says not every app created through App Studio becomes something that other people actually use. Some apps are created simply for experimentation, testing or potentially spam. Continuing to subsidize every creation equally could therefore consume significant network resources without producing meaningful utility. The new model is designed to change that incentive. Creators now have a stronger reason to build apps that solve problems, attract users and provide value to the Pi ecosystem. (4) Subsidized pricing is not permanent or guaranteed Qualifying for the subsidy will not be a one-time decision. Pi plans to regularly review creator eligibility using newly generated data. A creator who does not qualify when the new pricing model launches could qualify later if their app attracts more genuine users. Likewise, the qualification criteria, pricing structure and number of creator tiers could change as App Studio develops. (5) Existing creators have a short window to improve The new pricing model begins on August 24, 2026. Before then, existing creators can improve their apps and encourage more Pioneers to use them. Pi specifically recommends improving an app's usefulness and usability, collecting feedback and continuing to build products that solve real problems. Pi wants its resources going toward apps that people actually use. At its core, the change turns App Studio from a broadly subsidized experimentation tool into a more usage-driven ecosystem.show more

I am the person practice Law of Attraction many... years and I do see a lot of change in my life! I believe everything can change to better after we change our heart and our mindset. On the way to Pi success journey, all our community should work together and help each other. Because we are on the same boat. We use our heart on it and we love it and it is in our life and it is our light and hope! Nobody want it fail. I read a story about a bird who has two heads share one body. But one head jealous another head and hate it. So he seduce the other head to eat a poisoned fruit. He is very happy to see the other head die. But after a few minutes, his head feel very painful and died too. I use the story to describe our poineers community. We should understand how to make Pi succes. If you hurt other poineers community, actually it will hurt your community too. I have no discrimiation on different price and respect all Pi Communities. However I would like all pioneers understand why we call GCV, it is not because ourselves greedy. It is because Pi need to start from high price to protect it on open mainnet. We all know a lot of pioneers come from the bottom of our society. They are in hardship, they even cannot afford food and place to live. And these kinds of pioneers has occupied most community. Nobody can prevent them to sell Pi becuase they are Pi holders. They need to survive, this is also the reason why there are a lot under table exchange to FIAT. Even 0.85$ or maybe 0.01$ they will sell Pi. What will happen, if the price is this low? I don't think this price can make eco develpe well. I talked with a Chinese mall rep, he told me many merchants hesitate to put their high value products on the mall is because the price big difference. If they use a price, then pioneers barter and sell in a lower price mall. It will hurt these merchants. This is the reason most merchant won't put high value products. How about the low consensus price bartered by pioneers? Yes, the merchant get a lot of Pi. However they still cannot survive if close mainnet more than 3 months-6 months. The pioneers will used up all his Pi. Then Pi has no relationship with him/her. For myself I have no Pi to use even if I have all basic coin and security circle migrated. All has been locked for 3 years. Now I changed to 90% so I only have 9 Pi in 2-3 years after almost 1 years mining. All bonus Pi cannot use now. before price united. Another thing I want to address again! No need to worry KYC! If you are real person you can pass in 5 min! Many don't want to do anything is because they don't believe they can pass KYC. You must understand Price is the root of eco. Eco healthy can make all KYC open! This is the only thing you don't need to worry. You don't pass or not get open is Because CT not ready to open to all ! #WhatIDoForPi #PiGCVshow more

HE STRAPPED A BATTERY TO A $599 MAC MINI... AND TURNED A DESK COMPUTER INTO A 14-HOUR PORTABLE AI WORKSTATION 00:03 the battery slides onto the side of the mac mini and the whole setup stops behaving like a desk machine. now it can run from a backpack, power a screen, hold local files and keep working without asking for an outlet. that changes the use case completely. instead of renting another cloud box, one silent computer can handle research dumps, meeting notes, scraped pages, voice transcripts and small automation jobs from almost anywhere. with claude connected, it becomes a moving command center. 45-minute calls become summaries, 120 saved links become organized notes, and messy project folders get cleaned while the machine quietly keeps working in the background. the interesting number is not the battery size. it is the avoided rent. one portable local box can replace $25 storage, $39 automation, $20 transcription and another $30 vps bill if the workflow is built correctly. this is no longer just a desktop. it becomes a portable ai machine that keeps working long after you leave the desk. bookmark this before portable ai becomes the new normal.show more

Dear Pioneers 🌏 We are living in a decisive... moment! Pi Network has the potential to become a true revolution in the global financial landscape, but for that to happen, we must act wisely and united. We are millions of Pioneers around the world, driven by the same purpose: to create a decentralized, accessible, and fair financial system for all. The real value of Pi is not determined by the traditional market but by our confidence and engagement. The GCV of $314,159 represents much more than just a number – it symbolizes our conviction about Pi's potential. Our Strength Lies in the Community For Pi to reach its true value, we need to act strategically and with commitment. No great project can sustain itself without the support of its participants. If we want to see Pi shine, we must: ✅ Avoid having our Pi traded on exchanges prematurely, creating scarcity and strengthening its value ✅ Not accept selling it for prices lower than it truly deserves ✅ Acquire and withdraw Pi from exchanges, consolidating its strength in the market ✅ Use it in real transactions, promoting its growth as a global digital currency ✅ Spread awareness and encourage its daily use, expanding its acceptance Each Pioneer plays a crucial role in this process. The more we use and value Pi within the ecosystem, the more it will establish itself as an asset of great global impact. The Future Is in Our Hands We can allow speculators to dictate the value of Pi, or we can take control of our own destiny and ensure that it reaches its true potential. The decision is ours! If we act together, with strategy and determination, nothing can stop us from making Pi Network a milestone in cryptocurrency history. The time is now, and each of us is a fundamental part of this revolution. Let's strengthen Pi together and make the GCV of $314,159 an undeniable reality! Month 1: $0 Month 2: $0 Month 3: $205... Month 4: 50,532 This is what actually happens when you stop overthinking and start a faceless YouTube channel the right way. Most people quit in the first 60 days because they see zero results and assume it doesn’t work. But the ones who push through the first two months with consistency usually see their first real payout in month 3. Here’s the simple system that makes this possible: Step 1: Pick one proven niche (history, facts, motivation, or luxury) and stick to it. Step 2: Use AI to generate 30 video ideas in one sitting so you never run out of content. Step 3: Outsource or use AI to create the videos (script + voice + editing) so you can upload consistently without burning out. Step 4: Upload 3–5 videos per week and stay consistent for 90 days without checking analytics every day. The first two months are almost always quiet. The third month is where most people either quit or finally get paid. If you’re willing to be patient for 90 days, this model still works extremely well in 2026. Running cold email campaigns just became a whole lot... easier Smartlead now runs an MCP server, which in plain terms means Claude can read and act on your live campaign data directly instead of working off a spreadsheet that went stale the moment you exported it. The workflow is worth walking through properly, because it is shorter than people expect. You generate an API key inside your account, point Claude at the server once, and from then on you ask for what you want in a sentence. Here is a prompt worth stealing in full: "Fetch all Smartlead clients, then get today's performance for each: emails sent, replied, positive replies, unique lead count. Compute reply rate per client, run a top and bottom performer analysis, format it as a daily client performance report, and post it to Slack." One paste, and it pulls live figures for every account, does the arithmetic, ranks the strongest and the weakest, and delivers the finished thing into the channel your team already sits in, before anyone has logged on for the day. Be clear about the division of labour, because it is what makes this useful rather than a novelty. Smartlead is the engine holding the campaigns, the mailboxes, the warmup and the reply data, and Claude is simply the interface you operate all of it through, so nothing about your sending changes and everything about how you interrogate it does. The effect people underestimate is on the questions you start asking. Once a report costs you a sentence rather than an afternoon, you stop rationing the ones that used to feel like too much trouble, and problems that used to surface on a Friday start surfacing on a Tuesday. Connect it with Claude through MCP and run one prompt against your own account today.show more

this is more useful than my entire degree Elon... Musk's rocket company signed a $60,000,000,000 deal for Cursor in June, and eight days ago the two of them put a worker on sale for $200 a month: it gets its own computer in the cloud, signs into your accounts, clicks through your real apps, and hands back finished work instead of a draft for you to paste i ran one against my receipts folder on sunday and got back 14 filed, 2 it held because they needed a card number, and a saved method i never wrote myself Grok Bot is the one you train by doing your own job in front of it, and the whole handover fits in four messages tonight: 1. write out one job you did today the way you would brief a new hire: what has to be finished, which sites and files to work from, what to hand back, and where it stops and asks you 2. let it run once on something safe to get wrong, then correct the result until it is worth your name 3. say "save what we just did as a skill", and add the one rule about what always needs your approval 4. say "run that skill every weekday at 8 and post the result here. if the source is missing, tell me instead of using yesterday's numbers" xAI wrote that order into its own manual: one real job, then the saved method, then the clock. a schedule sitting on top of a method nobody checked replaces two hours of your clicking with two hours of your mistake turns out you never get to pick the brain, and that is the part i would argue about: the manual says there is no model picker for members or admins, no plan to add one, and the bill follows whichever model answered bookmark this, then open the piece below: which jobs deserve a worker of their own, and which ones quietly burn the seat ↓show more
