This will obviously make it hard for the child... to function in our current government infested world but I totally respect the sentiment. She should at least record the birth on the inside cover of their family Bible (if they have one). Many states recognize this as proof of birth.show more

Finished Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and SPOILERS AHEAD.... - I never played OG but have played AC 3, as soon as I heard Kenway I was wondering if Haytham was his son, and he is. - Pretty sad to see that his wife couldn't make it but at least his daughter did and chose the last name of her mother. - So many characters died in this game, gotta feel for Edward but at least he got a happy family, at least part of it - all along I was wondering if Blackbeard will be the villain of the game but his death hit me hard. His words - 'In a world without Gold, we could have been heroes' is one of the best lines ever delivered in video games, I feel like.show more

BREAKING: Senate Democrats have BLOCKED the federal government from... reopening, rejecting a continuing resolution passed by the GOP-led House. The measure failed in the Senate with a vote of 52-42. President Trump reacted on Truth Social: “Democrats have SHUT DOWN the United States Government right in the midst of one of the most successful Economies, including a Record Stock Market, that our Country has ever had. This has sadly affected so many programs, services, and other elements of Society that Americans rely on — And it should not have happened. I am happy to work with the Democrats on their Failed Healthcare Policies, or anything else, but first they must allow our Government to re-open. In fact, they should open our Government tonight!” The shutdown continues!show more

My 2nd stay in Mauritius also had thatched roofs... :) It was at Veranda Belle Mare Resort. You can't do Mauritius without staying in one of the incredible resorts they have on the island. At first I didn’t know which one to choose, but I went for this one and I’m glad I did cus the stay was exceptional. If you’re ever in those parts of the world, I totally recommend it.show more

I love this kid! At a recent event, First... Lady Jill Biden greeted the crowd with “Happy Holidays,” and a child enthusiastically responded, “Happy Christmas!” This reminds me of the verse, “From the mouths of children and infants, You have ordained praise” (Psalm 8:2). Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. As we interact with others this season, let’s keep Christ at the center by using phrases like “Merry Christmas” or, as that sweet child said, “Happy Christmas!” Let’s boldly and joyfully proclaim the true reason for the season: the birth of our Lord and Savior. Merry Christmas, everyone!show more

#mnleg Democrats are promoting a bill that will put... into State law language clarifying that our State grain, "wild Rice has an inherent right to life." Two years ago, they voted for abortion to be legal up to the moment of birth, and to deny a child care even after he or she is born. If this bill passes, wild rice will have more rights than a child in the womb. "Wild Rice, under the legal inherent rights doctrine, will "recognize the plant's inherent right to live, because it is alive."show more

A Japanese blogger criticized a Chinese influencer for being... annoying in Nara, Japan. Here are my thoughts on this: First of all, the video wasn't even shot in Nara—it was taken at a zoo in China. Before pointing fingers, people should at least get their facts straight. I'll admit, I do find this girl's behavior somewhat annoying as well. But the truth is, it's not just China—countries all over the world have plenty of low-bar influencers who chase views with cheap, low-effort content. This is a global issue, not a problem unique to any one country. As for the deer in Nara, they have injured tourists from many different countries. Instead of putting all the blame on visitors, the local government should reflect on the situation and implement proper safety measures to prevent further incidents.show more
