João Neves was asked why he chose to drive... a £7k Van to training car despite earning so much, and whether it was his only car. João Neves: “I normally use this car as a side hustle. I carry passengers from bus stop to bus stop every morning before coming to training. But that day, I was late, and I couldn’t go home to change and then come to training the normal way, so I had to come directly after my last trip. All the money I’ve been making from it has been going to an orphanage, while the football money is for me and my family alone.”show more

“Lone Wolf” Training Only Gets You So Far You... might be working hard this summer Nobody’s questioning that. But when you’re always training alone, You’re missing one of the most powerful forces in development: Competition. No teammates to chase. No one pushing the pace. No one showing you where you really stack up. There’s a reason college and NFL programs invest millions into bringing guys together in the summer: Not just for structure, but for the fire that comes from training as a team. If your school has a summer strength program, be there. Challenge your teammates. Elevate together. That’s how real programs are built. But if you don’t have that? Comment “TGW” and I’ll send you the link to Team Gridiron Warrior: My monthly training system built to get you faster, stronger, and more prepared than the guy across from you this fall.show more

Victor Wembanyama is taking his retreat seriously and doesn’t... want to be disturbed. Sightings are rare though Monks have gotten photos and autographs while tourists mostly leave him alone. I’m told “Shaolin Wemby” has been waking up at 4:30am to run and has been spotted occasionally near Bodhidharma Cave and on temple paths. Morning training typically happens inside temple grounds while lunch is off-site. He runs again around 5pm before evening class.show more

Two best friends, both 22. They film their workouts,... AI edits everything, and brands pay them around $6,800 a month — combined. Here's how splitting the work doubled the income. They started the way most people do: training together anyway, filming a little for fun. The difference came from noticing what solo creators never can — two people in one frame is a different product entirely. Here's why brands pay more for a duo. A girl training alone is content. Two friends training together is a story — the spotting, the laughing between sets, the shared routine people wish they had. Viewers don't just want the workout; they want a gym friend. That feeling gets saved, shared, and tagged: "us." Tags are free distribution, and duo content collects them at a rate solo clips never touch. The production splits clean. One phone, propped low. They train like they always did — one on the treadmill while the other lifts, then swap. AI takes the raw footage and handles the rest: cuts, captions, on-screen text, scheduling across platforms. Neither of them has opened an editor. The channel runs on friendship plus a system. The money, split honestly. An activewear brand pays ~$2,800/month — two matching outfits in every clip is double the catalog space. A supplement brand adds ~$2,400 for the same reason: two credible users beat one ambassador. Creator payouts and affiliate links on the gear stack roughly $1,600 more. About $6,800 a month, divided two ways — $3,400 each, at 22, for training they were doing together regardless. Tools: ~$40, also split. The part worth stealing: everyone waits until they're "ready" to create alone. These two skipped that entirely. The friend you already train with is a co-founder you haven't asked yet. Full playbook below👇show more

Exactly. Your maxilla determines how attractive you are. You... need to achieve CCW rotation of the maxilla to improve your looks - which can be done naturally. But Mewing alone will not help - you need to perform craniosomatic techniques in addition to it + fix habits One such is Incisive Papilla Pulling. When done correctly - this has immense benefits on training your muscles, overall posture, myofascia release and suture mobilisation. This technique allows your face to become more "malleable" replicating the benefits of Neurocranial Restructuring (NCR) but at home. Justo Gallego Martínez was a Spanish ex-monk who dedicated... nearly 60 years of his life to building, practically alone, a huge church in Mejorada del Campo, near Madrid. Without training in architecture, he began the work in 1961, after leaving the monastery due to health problems, and raised the construction using recycled materials, donations, and self-taught techniques. The so-called “Justo’s Cathedral” features domes, towers, cloisters, and more than 4,000 m², becoming a symbol of faith, persistence, and personal sacrifice. Justo worked until old age and died in 2021, at 96 years old, leaving the work to the Catholic organization Mensajeros de la Paz, which today takes care of the building.✝️show more

My dual RTX PRO 6000 setup is currently training... a Draft model for Qwen 3.6 27B! 🔥 I'm taking the paper DeepSeek dropped on 6/26 and going for a super ambitious application to the 27B scale. Thanks to my homelab, I was able to dive straight in — I read the paper and immediately started experimenting. The amount I've learned has been insane: - How memory bandwidth bottlenecks speed and clever ways to hack around it - Methods to train the draft model and boost its accuracy - Mechanisms to reference tokens all the way back to the previous one to skyrocket draft acceptance rates - The impact of Attention vs. GateDeltaNet on speculative decoding performance and how to handle those differences - The unique approaches and trade-offs of MTP, Dflash, JetSpec, and DSpark I could go on forever, but just from speculative decoding alone I've learned so much. The 27B architecture feels way more DSpark-native than JetSpec, so once draft training finishes, I'm going all-in with DSpark! My goal is to beat existing speculative decoding speeds outright — no task-specific shortcuts or cheating, pure general improvement. If you're into this kind of research, I'd love to hear your thoughts, impressions, and any suggestions — please reply! 🚀show more

🚨😡 Shocking & Infuriating: I just saw a video... from Zhangjiajie, China, a couple decided to “train” their 2-year-old son by forcing him to illegally cross a busy road alone. They stood on the other side, waving and urging him to come over. The terrified toddler stumbled and fell, but the mother kept shouting for him to get up and keep going. Seconds later, a car slammed into him, sending the little boy flying through the air. This is not “training.” This is reckless endangerment. This is child endangerment of the worst kind. How any parent could treat their own toddler like a disposable experiment is beyond comprehension. These parents failed the most basic duty of parenthood — to protect their child. They deserve full condemnation and should face serious legal consequences for what they did. My heart breaks for this innocent little boy. Praying he makes a full recovery. Parents like this have no business raising children. #ProtectOurChildren #RecklessParents #ChildSafety #ZeroToleranceForNegligence #CCPChina #China #Chineseshow more

Your thumbs up/down is direct training data for xAI.... It’s used (called RLHF) to make Grok smarter, more accurate, and more useful for everyone, including future updates. One regular user giving honest feedback actually helps improve Grok faster than any engineer working alone. It’s one of the easiest ways normal people help build better Grok, not just devs. That’s why the buttons are everywhere. Every click matters. How to use it practically. Super easy: Chat with Grok (on the X app, or wherever it’s used). · After the reply, look right under the answer. Two buttons appear: thumbs up and thumbs down. · Tap 👍 if the answer was good or helpful. · Tap 👎 if it was bad, wrong, confusing, or unhelpful. · (Optional) A small box may appear. Type 1–2 words why (e.g., “too long” or “wrong fact”). That’s it. It takes literally 2 seconds. It can be used every time.show more

Maintaining muscle mass, strength, and function as we age... becomes critical to our independence and quality of life. Three terms often come up in this discussion: sarcopenia, dynapenia, and powerpenia. Understanding these concepts and their implications can reshape how we think about aging and exercise. Sarcopenia is the age-related loss of muscle mass and function. It is defined by smaller muscles and a diminished ability to perform physical tasks. Sarcopenia is linked to frailty, mobility issues, and an increased risk of falls. However, muscle mass alone is not the most reliable indicator of functional ability. Dynapenia focuses on the loss of muscle strength, independent of muscle size. Strength is essential for tasks like lifting objects or climbing stairs. While strength is a critical component of function, it doesn’t account for the speed or explosiveness required in many real-world activities. Powerpenia is the age-related decline in muscle power, which is strength applied with speed. Power is often overlooked, yet it’s crucial for activities like rising from a chair, catching yourself from a fall, or navigating uneven terrain. Power combines strength with speed, making it the most functionally relevant metric for daily life and mobility. A recent article in Frontiers in Physiology (PMID: 10961295) highlights the critical role of muscle power in preserving functional independence. Research shows that power is more predictive of mobility, balance, and fall prevention than strength or muscle size alone. This finding shifts the focus from simply building muscle to enhancing the quality and speed of movement. Training to improve power—such as explosive movements, plyometric exercises, or lifting lighter weights quickly—can profoundly affect aging populations. The ability to generate force rapidly can mean the difference between a fall and staying upright or between dependence and independence. Sarcopenia, dynapenia, and powerpenia represent interconnected challenges of aging. However, prioritizing muscle power offers a unique opportunity to address the most functionally relevant decline. While maintaining muscle mass and strength is important, integrating power-focused training into your routine may yield the greatest benefits for preserving mobility and preventing disability.show more
