Turkish Leftist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker appeared to use... a shock collar on his dog as it walked out of frame during a livestream, causing the dog to yelp in pain and cower away from Piker. Many have suggested that Piker is using the dog as a prop for his streams, hence using a shock collar to prevent the dog from moving during the recordings. Piker admitted using a shock collar on his dog in prior streams, describing it as "incredibly effective." In one stream, a guest noted that the shock collar was "too tight.” Piker appeared to comment on the collar itself before pausing and saying the collar was tight because of “neck meat.” Follow: AF Postshow more

There has never been an easier time in history... to start a faceless YouTube channel you can literally create any style of video using Claude + Higgsfield MCP… here's how you can use it: first you upload a reference video that is already working then the Higgsfield video analysis skill breaks down everything about it: style, framing, how long each beat and scene runs it then takes that style and generates a new character for your video, and gives you 4 options to pick from you pick one and give it your storyline or let it create a new proven storyline from your reference video every frame for the video gets generated with Nano Banana Pro using your character so it stays fully consistent throughout then it stitches all the frames together automatically and adds the voiceover on top you can literally make videos in 5-15 minutes because of this what a time to be alive..show more

Making smart glasses frames was way harder than I... thought. Here's what I learned: Materials matter. You can't use normal plastic, because it has to be light and safe to touch your face So we chose TR90 plastic that's made for eyewear Fake gray-market TR90 plastic is common in China. You gotta go to the source and make sure your TR90 is legit Glue is so important. If you put too much glue it will give issues, and add weight. Too little glue, won't stick. That's why it's better for a robot to do it (VIDEO) If the glue doesn't match the material perfectly, then it won't stick. So we tried like 4 glues to get the best one for our smart glasses You design the frame in 3D and then make a tool. A tool is just a metal mold that is shaped like the glasses. You put a bunch of melted plastic (TR90) in the tool, let it cool, and out pops the glasses frame. Do that 10,000 times Tooling leaves seams in the frame, so we figured out where to put the seam so it doesn't cut into your ear when you wear it Obviously this all must be super lightweight because the electronics are heavy The camera needs a certain perspective, so the glasses frame angles the camera down to capture hands in videos Throughout the design process, you can't sacrifice style And now our Mentra Live frames are bornshow more

You do not need to step outside the universe... to determine whether space is curved. Geometry can reveal it from within: even the angles of a sufficiently large triangle behave differently in positively curved, flat, and negatively curved space. In cosmology, the FLRW metric describes these possibilities through the curvature parameter k. The deeper idea is that the large-scale geometry of space can, in principle, be inferred from measurements made entirely by observers living inside it.show more

I spent my Astra tokens trying to teach small... Qwen3.5 (9B) to create lowpoly 3D rooms using Blender 🏡 you (or Astra) can take this challenge today here's what I learned: > you need to align geometry with deterministic rewards and VLM-as-a-judge (GLM-5.3-Flash which was a great judge) > I tried GEPA at first with various rewards, model learned to make valid rooms (but that's it) > after solving geometry you need the model to add more details, which is very hard > the stricter the reward function, less advantage you get because task is too hard. grpo didn't help > I tried passing image guidance to both policy (Qwen) and judge (GLM) it didn't improve > I tried tastemaxxing trick in this blog, truth is, flowers can be abstract, a house can't be shoutout to OpenEnv, environment is super simple what can you try? > experiment with different rewards or policy (teach a larger Qwen) > generate a dataset of 150-200 Blender render Bpy examples using Astra, fine-tune Qwen on it first and then try GEPA or GRPO > ???show more

If you think this is just another silly demo... made with AI, read this post. You might change your mind, because this demo is about MATH. What you see on the screen is not a render from Blender (obviously, it’s not that good). It’s a three.js app built with Toolcraft. Available on the web and rendered in real time(link in the comments). But Blender still has a lot to do with it. Blender has Geometry Nodes - a powerful node-based system for creating and manipulating procedural geometry. In other words, it’s math. And math is a universal language. And who do you think is pretty good at math? >>> AI. Now you can download or buy Blender files from marketplaces, and when they contain Geometry Nodes for procedural animations, objects, surfaces, or effects, you can transfer that logic to the web. Make it real-time, make it interactive. Materials are a separate story, of course. They can still suck unless you use the right tricks: PBR, HDRIs, material blending, displacement, and faked surface relief. So why is Blender important here? Blender is open source, and many tools around it are open source too. An AI trained on their code. That means it can translate the math from one environment to another quite accurately. If you’ve been struggling to reproduce some idea with AI that you had in your head or seen in some references, and it has something to do with Geometry Nodes, and you can find that idea or a close one in the Blender ecosystem - it means you can transfer it to the web. Thank me later.show more
