Hello guys. In case you don’t know what’s going... on in Watamu, the Watamu park was taken up by the affordable housing project and the locals rejected it, went to court . On 24th Dec The court issued an injunction to stop any further work on the said plot, however over the weekend locals complained that the falling of trees and clearing is still on going as seen in this video despite the court order. We went to serve the court order today and successfully managed to eject the workers from the park. This is utterly shameful and should not be allowed!show more

This little one has nothing but love for her... shadow. 😍 But that’s not how all toddlers react. Young children experience light and shadow from birth. But as they become mobile, their OWN shadows become more and more evident. And this can be a little terrifying. I’ve run across dozens of videos of toddlers scared to death of the kid-shaped apparitions trailing them around. One way to help neutralize this fear is to engage in some proactive shadow play with your toddler. Using a flashlight (or the natural lighting in your home), show off - and discuss - your own shadow on a wall and encourage your child to play along. Demystifying their origins can go a long way toward making shadows commonplace and fun for your child - as they clearly are for this sweet little one.
