Very quick Eagles Offense/Defense All22 Thread vs. Bengals with... some notes on the 53. 1) I didn't hate this Lemon route as much on the All22. He's never been a huge separator vs. press anyway, but I think he does a good job at the LOS beating the press and stacking the CB. At that point, I think he needs to do a better job faking that he is going inside rather than just looking inside, as the CB reads it all the way. Obviously, not an ideal first game, but I'm hardly panicking yet!show more

Eagles Offense All22 thread vs. Packers. 1) The Eagles'... run game was not good, but they did have some success from under center & jumbo personnel. This is a fantastic vision by Barkley, who is playing at an incredibly high level. He does a great job to spot the cutback lane. The Eagles did not run play-action once from Jumbo personnel (11 total plays). We will get into that later.show more

Eagles Offense All22 thread vs. Bucs. 1) It wasn't... perfect all game, but I think we have now reached the point with Hurts where I don't fear the blitz at all. The progression this year has been obvious. He is fine with free rushers in his face and will stand and deliver. This was a big 3rd down conversion on the 1st drive. It's another area of his game where he has made significant improvements.show more

Eagles Offense All22 vs. Washington. 1) Not a bad... start, aye? It looks like Hurts audibles into under center crack toss which is something we haven't seen often! AJ Brown & Mailata take out 3 defenders. Goedert does a good job and Saquon Barkley just does what he does best. He's a freak! The most impressive part is the cut inside after the spin. He makes it look so so easy.show more

We are back (sort of). Eagles Offense All22 vs.... Ravens (Preseason). Will update as I watch. 1) Very obvious statement, but the Eagles won't be able to run this offense with a TE duo of Calcaterra (possibly lucky not to get flagged here) and Stowers. Stowers' usage in this game was sort of bizarre, but I'm telling myself it's preseason so I don't overreact. In better news, look at Markel Bell's recovery at RT here to stop the DL from blowing it up in the backfield. He has such odd movement traits for a big man. He looks huge!show more

Eagles' Offense All22 vs. Rams thread. Buckle up. 1)... After charting every 3rd down, this was the only one I put the blame on Hurts for. He should make this throw. He has a clean pocket and a receiver breaking over the middle of the field. Gotta have it.show more

Eagles Offense Super Bowl All22 vs. Chiefs. 1) I... thought Hurts used his legs exceptionally well in this game. He looked fast. I am perfectly fine with him reading one half of the field and taking off with his legs if nothing is open. Taking negative plays would have ruined this game plan. Hurts did a fantastic job keeping the offense on track throughout the game.show more

Eagles Offense All22 vs. 49ers. For the last time... this year, thank goodness. 1) The first play of the game. The Eagles shift AJ Brown into a tight split, bringing a defensive back into the box, who, of course, makes the tackle on Saquon Barkley. I was already worried about this film, but this didn't make me feel any better. It was a sign of things to come..show more

Eagles' Defense All22 Thread vs. Cowboys. Buckle up. 1)... The Cowboys absolutely destroyed the Eagles with Jumbo (6 OL) personnel. The Eagles had no answers all night. Some of the gaps were as big as you will ever see at this level. No single player or reason made it so bad. But we have to start with the defensive tackles. The Eagles invested a lot of money in Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter, and they couldn't get off blocks at all. The Cowboys often got to the Eagles' linebackers (who also didn't play well) because the defensive linemen couldn't do anything. Just look at the gap between Davis and Carter here. You can't win like that. Fundamentally, the run defense was just terrible. At all levels.show more

Aidan O'Connell gets sacked on his final play last... night and in my opinion the sack is on the #Raiders QB just as much as it is on LT Andrus Peat. AOC has a 3 step drop which means the play is designed for him to get the ball out quick. If you don't get the ball out then a QB is going to need to Create something. But what you don't want him to do is back pedal into a sack. Peat does lose the rep, but he does a good job recovering and pushing the DE up the field. I think AOC's ability to feel pressure, get away from it, and throw on the run were some things I saw from him last year where he struggled with. So I do hope next week he shows a little bit more in that. Overall the play didn't work because Luke Getsy designed a really poor play where the spacing is off, I will talk about this more on my Youtube channel later today but you can clearly see that Bowers was supposed to be a natural pick for Tre Tucker at the bottom of the screen. But the spacing didn't work and the WR and TE run into each other.show more

AJ Brown on Emmanuel Forbes, the Rams CB that... he has had success against in his career: “Emmanuel Forbes is…I mean this in a positive way — he’s the last of my worries at this moment. I’m just trying to focus on my job and getting this thing rolling on offense”show more

Q: Does your new Fed pick understand that you... want him to lower interest rates? Trump: Well, I think he does, but I think he wants to anyway. I mean, if he came in and said, 'I want to raise them,' he would not have gotten the job.show more

Cartersville Spring Practice Observations Observation 1: I’m going to... call Kaiden Kent an ATH because I think he does both extremely well playing CB/WR. You can make the argument he’s just as good as a wide receiver. The 2028 CB looked explosive in practice and made routine catches. High upside for the ATHshow more

Think this is on Cowing mostly. He looks like... he stops running to the sideline. Need the all22 to see what happened to his route but if the QB is scrambling, you run to the sideline there and don't stop. Did he slip or something?show more
